You must be responsible, be able to properly organize your training, have strong motivation and purpose. In this case, you are guaranteed success. Because Matt explains everything very clearly in his lessons, there is a very convenient Slack where you can find answers to your questions about challenges or homework. If something does not work out, you can always contact the support team and they will always answer your question, even if it is not very smart;). Definitely thank you🙏 and highly recommend!

This was a really great experience. I love how Matt explained everything. I loved the idea of learn then actually practice hands on. I find it very difficult to sit and watch long videos and PowerPoints. I like how Matt broke everything down into smaller categories and provided an opportunity to actually practice after teaching through a short video. I am a hands-on learner and I feel that he catered to my learning style.

I have always been so scared of coding, it looks so intense. SheCodes made coding not only fun but easy to understand. I found myself so excited to get to the next lesson and learn more. Matt does an amazing job explaining and breaking down all of the areas you need to code successfully. I do not think I have ever taken a course where the homework didn't feel like homework! With SheCodes the weekly homework assignments just added to the experience. The final project was so much fun to piece together. There were definitely moments I got stuck but Matt is an excellent teacher and prepares you with all of the tools you will need to hand in a successful project! I truly enjoyed the course in its entirety.

SheCodes Plus was much more challenging than SheCodes Basic, and yet I really enjoyed the deep dive, specially the more advanced JS and the introduction to netlify.
I love the way in which this course encourages you to research code and makes you practice what you learn with small challenges. It not only teaches you the basics in really practical ways but also introduces you to practice real life skills that programmers need to build, like looking up answers, researching, inspecting code, and not being afraid of figuring out the answer instead of knowing it right away. As a person working in health care, the world of programming has always seemed very mysterious and intimidating to me, but this course has really made it interesting and enjoyable. The tools and resources SheCodes provides are super helpful and the lessons are clear and thorough. I would definitely recommend the Basics course if you want to get acquainted with coding in a fun and easily digestible way.
A great introductory course to coding. I found Matt's instructions to be very helpful, even as someone that had no prior background in coding. I would say that the first week is definitely the hardest, but once you grasp the basics, all the information you are learning makes sense and builds upon itself. I also found it helpful to watch the videos and practice the exercises at the same time (kinesthetic learner) and pausing/rewinding when I needed too. Also the extensions were a real life-saver around the holidays! Thanks for including that option!

Course is just amazing for the beginners. Easy to follow and to stay on schedule. The lessons are split in a practical and convenient way. It is a lot of fun to do the challenges and the homework. Finding motivation was never an issue.

Within the first 3 weeks, I already had a chance to do smth practical, not just listen to the sessions. And I finally saw that learning coding is possible! Although much effort is required).

Matt is an amazing teacher! He helped me transition into the world of HTML, CSS and JS and explained every single concept in depth with examples. I'm a CS major but I wanted to expand my knowledge about Web Development and didn't know where to start. Class had good information and concepts, but felt somewhat disorganized. I learned a decent amount for being an intro to basics.

This course was a nice reprieve from the previous project. It felt like a solid refresher on HTML and CSS while teaching new concepts.
I would recommend doing this project add-on before moving on to Plus. I think doing these in the opposite order made Plus harder for me, but this much easier. All in, I'm thankful to have the opportunity to do another project on the more basic level!
