Have loved the SheCodes Basic programme. So much so, I have just signed up to complete SheCodes Plus! I am a Content Manager in my day job and looking to branch out to more freelance work. With my content knowledge, now combined with coding, I feel unstoppable! The classes are well-thought out and Matt's videos are easy to follow. I also like that Matt mentions that you might get frustrated and not to worry. I can be a perfectionist and want to be good at something immediately, so Matt's words feel comforting and let me know I don't need to be an expert right away (especially whilst trying to get my head round Javascript!). Building my SheCodes Add-On project was an experience of deep growth, creativity, and self-trust. This wasnβt just about writing code ,it was about learning to express my vision with clarity, structure, and elegance in the digital space. Through this workshop, I strengthened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but more importantly, I learned how to problem-solve, experiment, and bring ideas to life line by line. I used everything from layout techniques and font styling to hover effects, responsive image grids, and even dark mode toggles. Every challenge I faced taught me something new, not just technically, but personally. My final project, Mirembe Muse, is more than a landing page. Itβs a visual love letter to the values I believe in: natural beauty, ancestral healing, and self-devotion. Watching it come together with code I wrote myself has been incredibly empowering. Iβm walking away from this Add-On experience not only with a finished website Iβm proud of, but with confidence in my growing tech skills. I now see how coding can be soulful, expressive, and powerful and Iβm so excited for whatβs ahead. Thank you, SheCodes, for helping me realize whatβs possible when tech meets purpose.

Coding is one of those things that makes you go crazy while doing it because you can make a really tiny mistake, and it could prevent your code from working. Learning to code is a very time-consuming and hard skill to learn, but the way the lessons in these workshops are presented makes it easier to follow. It's still challenging, and it's made me realize I have a lot to learn, but I love being part of the sheCodes community. When I have a question, I know I have the support to understand, learn, and fix any issues. I know that even though at times it might seem like an impossibly high mountain to climb, there are others next to me willing to support me and ahead of me willing to guide me.

I have really enjoyed these classes. I love that there are projects that you can do for each lesson and a final project to test your knowledge. The projects get graded quickly and with great feedback. You can also ask for help if you are stuck on one of the projects.

This AI project has been my absolute favorite coding project so far. I was so excited and captivated by the process that I couldn't take a break and ended up pulling an all-nighter! Working with the SheCodes AI API, implementing animations, and perfecting the user experience taught me invaluable skills. But most importantly, this project reminded me why I love coding - the thrill of creating something beautiful and functional that brings wonder to users.
