Coding has kept me excited and craving for more. It is fun to code; it has kept me glued to my laptop, to an extent where I can't tell what time it is. JavaScript was particularly interesting. Matt makes the lessons interesting ,fun, and easy; and guides you step by step, till you get the content. Can't wait to learn more.
Just a month ago i was still confused by functions now I have mastered debugging, and formatting dates. Phyton is my favourite language. Its easy to understand and to read but the indentation had a field day with meππ π€£!

Being able to add a 'functionality' to the webpage solely from CSS with no bootstrap was fun. It is time consuming and teaches you patience with having to troubleshoot images to the correct sizing needed for the content of a webpage, but, it also helps to add on and build the fine motor skills of retaining information learned from the 'Basics' courses of the coding workshops. I took a lot away from this 'Responsive' course that helped me understand how CSS can work better and more efficiently for webpages.
React is quite challenging but SheCodes made it fun, I can't wait to learn more so I can return to this project and adjust the temperatures for the forecast as well.

I came into this workshop with a bit of an AI background but zero coding background and left with a fully functional, published website built entirely through AI prompts. The step-by-step challenges made it easy to see real progress each day, from a blank project to a live site with forms, animations, and analytics working end to end. What surprised me most was how much I learned about structuring a real project, not just typing prompts and hoping for the best. This was probably the most challenging course yet, but it was very fun and rewarding to see the final turn out.
Definitely had a better and more clearer understanding on building with AI APIs from this course than I did with the initial introduction to APIs course. After practicing with APIs it made it more simple to grasp on to the functionality.

This course was definitely more on the challenging side. There were some things that did come back as 'refreshers' from previous courses, but if you take your time to really plug everything into their appropriate slots and fully understand why the functions behave as they do- you won't have too much of an issue with grasping on to the concepts.
Absolutely thrilled to have completed SheCodes Basics course! It was challenging in the best way, and I especially enjoyed the final project where I could combine my recently learned coding skills with my own interests and creativity. The course's format made it easy and fun to follow along, even though I had no prior knowledge. The weekly homework tasks were challenging enough to motivate me to keep going, even if I felt stuck at times, as I felt I had all the resources to complete them confidently. Overall, a great experience.
The Python AI workshop was honestly one of the most exciting two weeks of my coding journey so far! Coming in with some Python basics, I wasn't sure what to expect, but by the end I had built a fully functional AI-powered travel planner that gives live weather data and generates personalised road trip itineraries.I also got to work with Rich, a library that adds colors and styling to your output, and lets you render Markdown directly in the terminal, which made the AI generated itineraries look clean and readable instead of a wall of plain text.I can't wait to see what's next!

My journey with SheCodes has been incredibly meaningful and has become a true example of resilience and discipline in my life. I started the program two years ago, but along the way I faced several personal challenges that made it difficult to continue. I became ill during that time, and later I also experienced the loss of my grandmother, which was very difficult for me. Despite everything, I made the decision to return and complete the course when I was able to, and I am very grateful that I did. Coming back to SheCodes has been a truly positive experience. I enjoyed every part of the learning process, had fun building projects, and learned a lot of valuable skills. Even on difficult days, coding helped me stay focused, distracted in a healthy way, and motivated me to keep building a better future for myself. I really enjoyed the Python AI course. I had already learned the basics of Python and built a weather app with the SheCodes Weather API, but this course made it even more fun. We built a travel itinerary planner that used both the Weather API and the AI API, and I loved seeing how they worked together. It was a really fun project!
I came into this course with some coding experience from the previous workshops, but Python was completely new to me and SheCodes Python Basics made the transition so smooth! In just six weeks, I went from learning basic syntax to building a real weather app that pulls live data from an API and displays it with colored terminal output using rich. Along the way I picked up Python's approach to variables, functions, loops, dictionaries, and error handling and seeing how quickly those pieces came together to build something functional was incredibly rewarding. I now have practical skills which i can actually use and I can't wait to see what else I can build with Python!

As someone who has tried coding at least four different times during my life - and failed miserably each time - SheCodes has definitely been a breath of fresh air! My previous coding experiences have always seemed to follow the same pattern: Everything would be easy and understandable at first, but somewhere along the line, coding would suddenly just stop making sense. My classmates always seemed to get it, but I just didn't. This wrecked my confidence and made me resent coding for a while, which was a shame because I have always wanted to learn how to code! SheCodes has completely changed my perspective on coding for the better! Everything feels much more approachable now, and I actually had a lot of fun working through the Basics course. SheCodes Python Advanced workshop was an incredible journey that took my coding skills to the next level. Before this course, I had a basic understanding of Python but this workshop gave me the confidence to work with real-world data, APIs and visualization tools.
