This is a great course if you want an introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Personally, I had to do a lot of Googling and extra research alongside the course to fully grasp some of the concepts, but I actually really enjoyed that because it helped me learn even more. The lessons are clear and easy to follow, and I feel SO much more confident creating my own small projects now :)
This add on was fun and I enjoyed implementing AI API's, it's amazing what we can build using this.
This workshop helped everything finally click for me! It deepened my understanding of React and showed me how to build more dynamic, interactive, and polished applications. I loved learning how to improve functionality and structure while still keeping things manageable. This workshop truly leveled up my confidence and made React feel even more exciting and rewarding!

With the Python Basic course I took my first steps into programming with Python. The instruction videos and challenges were helpful and Matt has a clear way of explaining everything that makes it easy to follow along. I can definitely recommend the course.

The SheCodes Responsive Add-on gave me a much deeper understanding of how to create fully responsive web pages. I now feel more confident using media queries and structuring layouts that adapt smoothly across different screen sizes.
Learned so much in these courses, some of it very challenge, and look forward to practicing and taking what I've learned to build a project of my own that is end-to-end!

This workshop is a fantastic introduction to the world of web coding. While mastering three coding languages in a short period takes dedicated effort and further study β as youβd expect β the hands-on approach of building projects is the most effective way to learn. In less than three weeks, I went from knowing nothing about CSS and JavaScript to confidently writing code, troubleshooting issues, and even analyzing website elements. Iβm excited to continue my learning journey!

This definitely had its fair share of mind bending, challenging moments but the video tutorials really helped break it down and unpack the logic behind the various stages of advancing and refining the code. This workshop was a bit more challenging (which was to be expected) and I enjoyed every minute of it. It really went in depth with the concepts that were touched on in the basics workshop. My favourite part was working on the project, playing around with code and seeing the final product. It was worth the challenge.

Before I enrolled in SheCodes, coding felt intimidating, but this beginner course completely changed that for me. It's very interesting to learn a new language in the midst of the bootcamp and very satisfying to see this first weather project come to life. I still feel generally confused about Python, but hope that the next courses will explain more about how python integrates with other coding languages and in web applications.
This was a steep learning curve. I had to do a lot of outside research to keep up with the classes. I will say this was my least favorite to learn, only because there were so many rules and it seems React is so sensitive. I did enjoy the projects I built, and the troubleshooting and trial and error to get my code to work. I Thanks immensely for teaching this!

Although I wasn't a complete beginner, it had been many years since I coded and I wanted to get a refresher. This was a great choice: clear explanations, exercises that aren't too intimidating while still challenging, and many useful resources. The only reason why I'm not grading with 5 stars is because the audio of the videos was a bit low most of the time (even with all my volume up).
Finishing my SheCodes responsive portfolio project was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. Throughout the process, I faced many obstacles that pushed me out of my comfort zone. Thanks to the guidance of instructor Matt Delac and by researching more theory and solutions whenever some concepts weren't clear enough, I gradually learned how to approach problems with patience and persistence. This project not only improved my technical skills but also strengthened my ability to problem-solve and overcome challenges independently.

I found the SheCodes Basic course very useful and would recommend it to anybody willing to dip their toes into web design and coding to see whether this field is appealing to them. The course lays the groundwork; however, students should be aware of the extra work (beyond the smaller tasks and weekly homework) that needs to be done to actually properly learn the course content.

Upon starting to learn coding with SheCodes, I was clueless and knew nothing about coding. However, I was 100% sure that I wanted to transition into the Tech space. The journey has not been easy but definitely worthwhile. Not only can I create an epic and awesome landing page thus far, I am also able to see where I made mistakes in my code and fix them promptly. Matt is awesome and makes the concepts understandable. I am only starting out but I can already see that I will make the best software developer.

I enjoyed this workshop and it has expanded my knowledge in coding and AI. I like the step-by-step learning videos. Challenges were interesting and fun.
SheCodes is a good starting point to get familiar with JavaScript and front-end basics through hands-on projects. However, some concepts would benefit from a deeper explanation and more structured support, especially when debugging or understanding why things work (or donβt). Itβs useful as an introduction, but learners who want a stronger conceptual foundation may need to supplement it with additional resources.
Learning to code has been amazing and I am looking forward to the doors that will open because of this opportunity.
