I've really enjoyed the basics course, with the final project, everything really came together and it was great to go over HTML, CSS & JS in one project together, taking everything we have learnt to create our page. I look forward to continuing through the next courses!
This Workshop has been challenging... but very very rewarding. I learned so many new skills... I am grateful to have found SheCodes. I am so very very happy that you also help train women in impoverished areas. That is what absolutely made me choose this workshop. Now I am looking forward to learning something entirely new for me...but something I have wanted to learn because I know that there are lots of scientists and doctors working in research that use it and I think having a developer that understands it to help them will be a very marketable skill form me to have in my toolbelt. I feel very very happy at this moment.
As I work my way through all of the workshops I continue to learn so much and my passion for coding continues to grow! I am working toward starting a new career path and I am very excited to see where all of this new knowledge can take me!
SheCodes Basics was an amazing introduction to coding! The workshop made HTML, CSS, and JavaScript so accessible. In just 3 weeks, I went from knowing nothing to building my first webpage. The hands-on challenges were perfect for reinforcing what we learned, and the support was incredible. I can't wait to continue with the next workshop
I thoroughly recommend this React course. It is incredibly satisfying to produce something from what youβve learned. I found myself remembering a lot from all the previous modules, which was motivating. I used a different API to the demo video, so I really had to figure things out for myself, which made it feel like real problem-solving. I could have spent weeks just styling my project, because thatβs the part of coding I really enjoy. Iβm proud of how far Iβve come and excited to keep coding, with a few small projects already lined up. This course has given me both confidence and practical skills to build on.

I honestly thought HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were going to be impossibleβjust hearing the names sounded so hard! But the lessons here broke everything down perfectly. They covered every single topic step-by-step, so you don't just memorize the theory, you get it. I'm genuinely thrilled that I can now take that knowledge and actually learn how to build a webpage!
I joined the SheCodes bootcamp as a complete beginner, driven by a desire for a new sense of purpose and a different career path. It was exciting from the beginning, then challenging but completing each of the activities was satisfying. the structure of the course is made very easy to grasp. The lessons are clear, well paced and very supportive for beginners. Finally completing the first part is a real confidence booster and proved that women can do it as well. I feel encouraged to continue developing my skills and exploring opportunities in tech.

This advanced course tested my knowledge of Python, and I enjoyed learning how to manipulate real-life data and create visualisations. The lessons are clear, structured, and approachable. I conducted additional research to ensure that my final project adhered to the key guidelines outlined in PEP8, thereby enhancing code readability and consistency.
I began this workshop with zero confidence in myself and abilities and a very low self esteem but through the educational videos and the available assistance from slack i regained my confidence i did not think it would be possible for me to complete this phase, i am really proud of myself and how far i have come. this workshop did wonders for me now i am curious to see what the other workshops have in store for me i am so excited about my future thanks to she codes!

With the AI-Add-On classes I got to review and repeat all the things I already learned. Learning how to add plugins and APIs was fun. I really got to be more creative with my projects.

I really enjoyed React β it was fun and surprisingly easy to understand once I got into it. I loved how its component-based structure made everything feel more organised and interactive. Working with React made building user interfaces feel exciting instead of overwhelming.
This was a very challenging module. Nonetheless, Matt explained it properly and guided you through it, including debugging with Netlify and other things. When I finally figured out where I was having problems, I was super ecstatic. Thanks Matt and team! Looking forward to the next module!

This course really tested my knowledge of Python but I really enjoyed using real-life data and visualising it in graphs. It felt like real-life use cases and I feel like I learned a lot!
This workshop was an excellent refresher on the basic concepts of web development. The course material was well designed, and the website was very easy to navigate. I learned several useful techniques and insights that I will definitely apply in my future projects.

A great addition to what I've learnt so far. A couple of new things were introduced at the end in a bit of a rush which would have been nice to learn more about earlier, but still a great final project.

I really enjoyed this introduction to coding! As a UX Designer, I want to understand the coding side of everything more so I can communicate better with developers. My ultimate goal would be to become a Front End Developer or a UX Developer to incorporate the creative with the technical side of coding that I find so fun! I'm looking forward to continuing on my learning journey with SheCodes.

The process was easy to follow thanks to the helpful video tutorial.
I focused on learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I enjoyed HTML and CSS the most because I already knew the basics, and it was exciting to create layouts and style pages. JavaScript was more challenging for me, but it pushed me to think differently. Even though I struggled a bit, I can already see improvement, and Iβm confident that with practice and consistency, I will master it.
Very cool to test AI APIs.
So fun learning Python and Matt is such an easy person to follow along with in the videos. Looking forward to learning more.

A valuable workshop with yet more complexity and new challenges. I really enjoyed learning how to embed maps, videos and social media to a web page and making it responsive. I created a page with multiple sections and used grids to organise the content. It was satisfying to produce a professional standard site and use industry tools. Excellent instruction, guidance and team support when needed. I am building the confidence in fixing bugs when they occur.
Joining SheCodes has been one of the best decisions Iβve made for my tech journey. The workshops are practical, empowering, and beginner-friendly, and theyβve helped me realize that Iβm capable of creating beautiful, functional projects. If you know the interface of the platform you're telling students to use changes constantly, why do you keep promoting it? It took me longer to find the Replit tools needed to complete the tasks than to actually do them...

This was a great addition to the Responsive workshop. We were taught the manual way of making a page responsive. Everything that Bootstrap and other platforms enable was done manually in this workshop and I appreciate that. It's good to know both so that you know what to apply when. It's also good to know so that if something is not functioning properly you have options. The project was a lot of fun!

I really enjoyed the end result, even though I struggled with React at first. Once the concept of components clicked, I was able to fully grasp how everything works and started making real progress. The course was well-structured, with clear explanations and hands-on projects that made learning practical and fun. Itβs satisfying to see the apps I built come to life, and I feel much more confident in my React skills now. Highly recommend for anyone willing to push through the initial learning curve!
