I really enjoyed learning Python! Since I had already worked with APIs in JavaScript, it was interesting to see how API requests and data handling work in a different language. In the last week of the course, we built a weather app using the SheCodes Weather API. Bringing together everything covered in the course, from working with functions and dictionaries to making API requests and processing and presenting real-time weather data, gave me a clearer understanding of the language. The project helped me feel more comfortable building real applications with Python.

Completing the SheCodes Plus workshop was an incredibly rewarding experience. The course challenged me to go beyond the basics and build real-world projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, GitHub, and responsive web development techniques. The lessons were well-structured, easy to follow, and packed with practical exercises that helped me strengthen my coding skills step by step. I especially enjoyed working on the weather application project, as it gave me hands-on experience with APIs and JavaScript while boosting my confidence as a developer. One of the things I appreciated most about SheCodes Plus was the supportive learning environment. The explanations were clear, the resources were helpful, and whenever I got stuck, there was guidance available to help me move forward. Building this World Clock app was a great learning experience. I improved my JS skills learned how to work with Moment Timezone and gained confidence in debugging and solving coding challenges. I`m proud of the final result. Can`t wait for more projects.

The basics tutorial is great for getting a surface dive into the world of coding as it is easy to understand and breaks it down well for beginners. This JavaScript tutorial made it a breeze transitioning to C# for a university gen ed class as there were similarities between the two coding languages. I am excited to learn more coding in the future.

A very interactive way of learning. I particularly like the way the videos also include where things may not have gone exactly as they would like, and the problem solving that happens around it. There is always a solution which is something I have enjoyed about learning to code!!

It wasn't easy, but I learned a lot. The professor explains things well, but this was one of the hardest parts of the course.

This Workshop was a bit difficult but it was very interesting. I enjoyed playing around with the css transform and being able be put pictures as my background.

Building a weather app from scratch at my own pace has been such a rewarding experience. What seemed impossible just a few months ago is now something I can proudly say I've done. The more I practice, the more everything starts to click and make sense. Matt's lessons are easy to follow and break down complex concepts into manageable steps. I Found that Shecodes basics and add on classes were really good as an introduction to coding! The classes were great for explaining the basics of coding and were a really good base for coding classes I had to take at school. Ultimately, helping me easily transition to other coding languages.

SheSodes made it easy for me to understand coding with both learning and practising after every topic.

I thought it will be difficult but at the end I perfectly understand with the help of step by step easy instructions and chain of challenges I get through it. Now I’m proud to present my new learned skill as an encoder.

The React Add-on week was the most fun I had in the whole Bootcamp. After the earlier weeks — which honestly tested my patience with a lot of debugging — everything started to click here. Building the Dictionary app piece by piece (search, definitions, synonyms, audio pronunciation, photos) and then designing it with my own branding was genuinely enjoyable. By the end I had a polished project that integrates three different APIs and actually looks like mine. Seeing it all come together, live and deployed, was a real confidence boost and a great way to finish the course. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped me along the way, and to the entire SheCodes team and community. Your support, encouragement, and the resources you provided made this journey possible. I'm so grateful!

Interesting learning experience getting the gist of Python Basics.

I absolutely loved the SheCodes AI Coding Workshop! The content was easy to follow, even for someone without a technical background, and it gave me a practical understanding of how to use AI to build real projects. If you're curious about coding, AI, or simply want to learn how to turn ideas into reality, I highly recommend this workshop. It made technology feel accessible, fun, and much less intimidating.

Building "Hike Scotland" with Claude & Vercel The fun part: I'd already built Hike Scotland once before — by hand in PHP for a uni project I passed. So coming back to the same idea with AI coding gave me a real before-and-after. Two things blew me away. First, the speed — I could rebuild big chunks of the site or add whole new features in a fraction of the time. An interactive map with location markers, for example, would've been a real fight in my PHP version; here it just came together. Honestly, the AI-built site ended up with way more scope than my hand-coded one. Second, how much my earlier experience helped. Because I'd built this exact site before, I knew exactly what I wanted — and that made working with Claude so much more powerful. The AI gave me speed, but knowing the project inside out let me steer it instead of just taking whatever came out. AI doesn't replace understanding — it amplifies it. Came away faster, more confident, and pretty proud of the result.

I learned a lot about data structures and the backend of coding.

This course was genuinely challenging and pushed me out of my comfort zone, but I stayed committed and completed it. The sense of accomplishment and the skills I gained made it completely worth the effort.

The SheCodes Basics Add-on was the perfect follow-up. It took everything I learned in Basics - the HTML, CSS and JavaScript - and pulled it all together into something real. CSS transforms, animations, grids, a full project built from scratch - it was a lot, but in the best way. By the end I felt more confident, genuinely surprised by what I could build, and really proud of my final project. If you've just finished SheCodes Basics, do the Add-on. It's the thing that makes everything click.

I came into SheCodes Basics with some basic knowledge, but I left being able to build a webpage from scratch, write real JavaScript, and actually understand how coding works - not just copy it. The course is well-structured, approachable, and genuinely fun. I would 100% recommend it to any woman who's curious about coding, whether you're a complete beginner or just need a proper foundation. SheCodes made it click for me.

A solid, project-based intro to React — by the end I had a live, deployed weather app pulling real data, which felt worthwhile. I'll be honest that it was harder than expected: much of my time went into debugging and wrestling with setup rather than learning new concepts. It tested my patience, but working through those problems is probably where I learned the most. Worth knowing going in that the struggle with tooling and debugging is part of the process, not a sign you're doing it wrong.

Words are not enough. I am grateful to SheCodes for giving women such an opportunity. Women of all ages. Normally, the focus is on youth. You don't need to be excellent in Maths and Science, all you need is to pay attention to details. In coding, if you forget to put a simple dot, your code won't work. I am so much better than when I came.

This one really challenged me, it was so fun and now I understand APIs better and I now know to use Axios :)

The Responsive Add-on was the perfect follow-up to the main Responsive workshop. Where Responsive gave me the foundations — Bootstrap, Flexbox, media queries, multi-page hosting — the Add-on pushed me into the more advanced techniques that actually make a site feel finished: working confidently with grids, integrating embeds, and the small details that lift a layout from "works on mobile" to genuinely polished across every device. I applied everything directly to my own multi-page portfolio rather than a throwaway exercise, so I finished the workshop with something real and deployed.

SheCodes taught me how to code from zero. The lessons are clear, practical, and actually fun. I went from 'what's HTML?' to building real projects I’m proud of. If you want to break into tech with confidence, SheCodes is the place to start.

Very informative!

This one was a short but really fun workshop. It feels good to undertand how AI works and how much it can add to a personal project, even if this is a tiny one as the one I built. Looking forward to learning more about AI and to starting the next workshop.

I had so much fun during this stage. I'm really starting to understand how things can come together and getting better at finding solutions to issues as well. Another well thought out and explained stage to the overall course.

I loved learning about the Api Integration, seeing real data flow into my project made everything feel more dynamic and alive. It really helped me understand how front‑end code connects with the world beyond the browser, and it made the whole development process even more exciting.

SheCodes Plus is more challenging than the introductory course, but everything is explained clearly and thoroughly. The projects and exercises helped me understand the concepts step by step, and I feel much more confident in my coding skills after completing it.

When I started to coded with The SheCodes courses, I was very curious, but also a little nervous because the world of programming seemed huge and complicated. However, from the very first lessons, I discovered a clear, practical, and friendly learning method that allowed me to progress step by step. Throughout this journey, I not only learned technical concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the fundamentals of web development, I also gained a deeper understanding of how everything works together in real-world situations. As I progressed through the lessons, I started looking at websites from a completely different perspective: I could analyze their structure, understand how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interact simultaneously, and appreciate the logic behind what I used to see as just a functioning webpage. What makes me happiest about this experience is realizing that, with dedication and consistency, it is possible to learn something that once seemed so challenging. Every challenge I completed and every project I built felt like a small victory that motivated me to keep learning and growing. I am incredibly grateful to the entire SheCodes team for this opportunity and for inspiring me to continue exploring the world of technology. This has been the most fun project to work, it has been very interesting to figure out how to make websites work across all devices. I especially had fun styling this project

In just 3 weeks, I went from being completely intimidated by code to building my own landing page from scratch. What surprised me the most is how fast it clicked. Every small win made me want to learn more. Now instead of feeling blocked, I feel like I've just opened a door I didn't know existed.

Coding is fun!

I really enjoyed this Python AI program, especially the final project. The course was well structured, easy to follow, and full of practical insights that made the learning experience both engaging and valuable. I came away with stronger skills in Python and AI, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build real-world knowledge in this space. Matt’s teaching style was clear, approachable, and made complex concepts much easier to understand.

I honestly thought writing code would be the hardest and most pointless thing in the world, but I decided to try it. Now I can't stop imagining more and more things I can learn to do and maybe even make it my profession. I loved how Matt puts things in a simple way that makes them easy to understand. I highly recommend it.
