I really appreciate the learning format and the clear, structured breakdown of content that SheCodes provides. The lessons are well paced, so I never feel overwhelmed with information. Before joining SheCodes, I had some knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but I never really understood how it all worked together. I tried learning from YouTube and other sites, but it always felt confusing and hard to follow. Then I found SheCodes — and honestly, it changed everything! I had so much fun learning through SheCodes! Lessons were informative and easy to follow; I particularly liked that the majority included challenges to immediately apply the skills learned. In less than 3 weeks, I've gone from never hearing of Visual Studio Code to being able to form a complete, interative website with a wide range of elements.

I was able to understand how functions work better.

From my first coding project to the last, it has been a challenging and a very memorable journey. I am so grateful for this journey.

The SheCodes Plus AI course was a fantastic learning experience! I really enjoyed exploring how to integrate AI into JavaScript projects — it made coding feel even more creative and exciting. I developed a strong understanding of how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to build responsive, interactive web pages. This stage challenged me a lot mentally..

In the summary of the workshop Matt said, ‘If you feel frustrated, take a break and come back.’ and I took many breaks, ‘If you run out of inspiration, take a walk and come back.’ and I took many runs, and I came back. This project was very challenging, design is not my strongest suit, and positioning is my nemesis. Facing both demons at once tested my patience and grit. I’m not sure how I feel about my final design yet, but I am proud that I finished it. Maybe with more practice and experience, I’ll create something with more polish, but for now, completing it feels like sweet victory.

As someone who’s built a career in both financial services administration and the events industry, I’ve always loved working in fast-paced, detail-driven environments. Stepping into the world of coding has opened up a whole new side of that energy, one where creativity meets logic and every challenge sparks curiosity. Completing SheCodes Plus has been such an empowering experience. This course helped me move beyond the basics and truly understand how to bring ideas to life through code. From tackling new languages to experimenting with projects, I’ve gained a stronger sense of confidence and direction in my tech journey. What I’ve discovered is that coding isn’t so different from Djing, both are about creating experiences, solving problems, and adapting quickly. SheCodes has given me the tools and inspiration to keep building, learning, and growing in a space that feels both challenging and exciting. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come and can’t wait to see where this next chapter in tech takes me!

Was fine but some concepts I didn't understand fully because I was just coding along

I recommend this workshop if you want to learn the basics of front-end coding. I love that the workshops are a lifetime guarantee.

Persistent is the key to better learning. You are free to make mistakes but never give up. Thank you all the teams especially my teacher Matt Delac who always send me email that make me to sit up when i feel like relaxing and extending my homework submission dates. 😍 😍 😍

I have enjoyed progressing through the SheCodes Plus course, which has expanded my knowledge beyond the basics and introduced me to more advanced concepts, such as API integration. The lessons are clear, structured and easy to follow, and you can move through them at you own pace. Although the vanilla weather app project was challenging, it has boosted my confidence in building interactive websites from scratch, without relying on external libraries or frameworks. I am looking forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.

The learning curve was steep with this one. I feel like we learned a ton of advanced concepts, and I wish we got more in depth with some of them. Especially with the creating of a dictionary using the csv file. I'll deff be doing some outside research with that. Overall it was a good experience and I learned a lot of new, useful information!

I just completed the SheCodes Basic Coding Course and honestly, I loved it!👌🏼 The course was designed for absolute beginners and ran over three weeks. It gave me a solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while introducing me to VS Code in a hands-on way. The platform was super user-friendly, and Matt Delac is an exceptional teacher. His approach made coding feel less intimidating and more like solving creative puzzles .I enjoyed the balance between learning core concepts and exploring my own solutions. It kept things interesting and made me think more critically about what I was building. I can't wait to start the SheCodes Plus program, diving deeper into the nitty-gritty of front-end development and continuing to grow my skills 💻✨.

I really enjoyed this SheCodes Responsive module! It was great to develop my skills even further and pick up new ones along the way.

I've absolutely loved learning from the SheCodes Basics workshops. It's tested me many times but I already feel I'm growing in confidence with my coding knowledge and am excited to continue with further workshops.

I learned alot in this workshop. I tried to learn react in other platforms. But I am admitting that this workshop was the most intuitive and it had easy to understand flow. Thanks sheCodes team and Matt for teaching us in this way. It is very easy to grasp things. React itself is very difficult but I think I grasped most of the concepts by heart.

Thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience with SheCodes Bootcamp. Easy to navigate through the modules and Matt explains everything in clear and concise language in short videos which makes it easier to absorb. The challenges and homework really drive the lessons home.

I loved this AI Button Generator. It was so interesting, I will use it. I love Wisdom so much, I even created an AI Wisdom Generator. I've learned so much, I truly recommend this course.

The best way to learn how to code!

Before enrolling in this 'HTML, CSS & JS Basic Add-On,' I had completed the main course for my web development certificate. I understood the theory, but I felt a big gap between knowing the concepts and actually building something. This add-on module was the perfect bridge. It wasn't just more lectures; it was a hands-on, project-driven experience. The instructors broke down the process of building a simple, functional website from scratch, and that's where everything clicked. Suddenly, CSS layouts made sense, JavaScript stopped being intimidating, and I could see how all three languages worked together like a well-rehearsed team. The best part was that by the end, I had a tangible project (a small, interactive land page of my hobby). This add-on didn't just help me earn a certificate; it gave me the confidence to actually use my new skills. It was the practical, foundational boost I needed to start my journey in web development. This workshop gave me a clear understanding of how to build a live world clock using JavaScript and Moment.js. This course taught me how to make websites responsive for mobile devices which will be extremely helpful moving forward in a coding career. Additionally, creating my own website to showcase my projects and skills helped build my confidence and put the lessons into practice.

The course has been really educational. I love how the content is structured. I do have a lot of practicing and perfecting my skill, and I aim to do just that!

This one was not easy, but it was still fun. With each lesson my skills were sharpened and also tested which made it an even better experience for me. If you want to grow your skills and knowledge of Coding I definitely recommend this!

After taking an unplanned break from SheCodes, this Basics Add On is amazing at helping dust off and refresh the mind.

After working as chef/recipe developer for 15 + years, I felt it was time for a career change. I had never considered a move into the tech world, but after Matt's free 1 hour workshop, it peeked my interest. With next to no IT knowledge going in, I found the course and lessons engaging, clear and easy to follow. I liked that you where encouraged to find solutions for yourself and to bring your own creativity within the requirements of the final project. Overall a good experience and I'm eager to continue my coding journey.

Basics Add on is a great way to learn more sophisticated elements particularly around CSS transform and java script conditions.

Great lessons done by Matt really liked the problem solving ones as Ai can be a bit annoying when you trying to learn.

This course was exciting, being able to make a world clock with different time zones. It was well explained. Though it's a bit challenging, I am truly grateful to have something new and exciting
