I just wrapped up the She Codes Plus 8-week course - wow, what a journey!!! 🚀 The API lessons were definitely intense and sometimes a bit tricky to fully grasp, but I’m proud of how much I’ve learned and how far I have come . 🌟 I know that with practice, it’s only going to get easier. This course pushed me to build real projects, work with live data, and get comfortable with JavaScript and APIs, skills I’m excited to keep improving. 💪 The Slack community and our instructor Matt were super supportive, which helped a lot along the way. I’m grateful for this experience overall, and can’t wait to keep coding and see where I can go next! 💻✨

Shecodes has helped me immensely in building up my skills in coding. I now have basic fundamental skills to build up projects with html, css and javascript. The community is also always available to assist when a dead end is reached. The lessons were easy to follow through with and the challenges helped to test that you were truly understanding the material presented, whilst also giving new opportunities to grow.

Before starting SheCodes, coding felt intimidating and out of reach. But this course truly changed everything for me. The way the lessons are explained — in simple, relatable terms — made concepts click instantly. What once seemed complicated now feels easy and even fun! The hands-on projects helped me apply what I learned right away, and the support from the community is amazing. I never thought I’d be building an application, but here I am — thanks to SheCodes!

I came in with NO coding knowledge! Through this course, I've learnt the basics and have completed a project. Something that looked like a big hurdle before became such an enjoyable time.

SheCodes Plus goes a step beyond and helps you build a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was definitely a challenges but worth the effort and time. There's still a long way to go, but be sure that this course certainly gives you a boost.

I recently completed a 3-week coding course with SheCodes Bootcamp, and it was an incredibly enriching experience. The program provided a strong foundation in programming through challenges , homeworks , projects, supportive mentorship, and a collaborative learning environment. I gained skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, built real-world projects, and grew more confident in my coding abilities. I had a little background in coding before starting this course, but this was the perfect opportunity to get back into it and take things to the next level. I really enjoyed the experience—the interface is super easy to navigate, and I never once felt lost or overwhelmed. Building my final project - was so much fun! I've signed up for the full bootcamp and can't wait to keep going.

It has been a lot of work but also a lot of fun and I've learned a lot with Matt.

More useful tools learnt from basic add-on to improve the appearance & functionality of landing page & simplify the code.

What started as curiosity quickly turned into a deep passion for web development. The journey has taught me how to structure clean code, design user-friendly layouts and bring pages to life. For my final project, I built a responsive web page that features real-time user interaction, conditional logic and custom styling all from scratch. It was both a challenge and a joy to create. Great place to learn

I used to study Computer Programming at university, but honestly, I felt completely lost and didn’t understand much, so I switched to Psychology instead. A few years later, I decided to give coding another shot with SheCodes, and I’m so glad I did! Everything finally makes sense, even though I’m learning in a language that’s not my native one. I have learnt 3 different languages in a short space of time. I am starting to feel a lot more confident in my coding skills. I am really having fun while exploring my likes and dislikes in the world of coding.

The Plus workshop lessons are clear, broken down in such a way that, even though there were moments I felt lost, when the topics got more advanced, it made learning to code feel achievable. Had so much fun learning how to manipulate css using java! This project allowed me to brainstorm and play a little with creativity

Honestly, it was quite challenging, but the great thing is, after going through all the motions and being determined to finish and now seeing the Weather App I created, I am so happy. The Advanced Web Development course was a turning point in my journey as a front-end developer. One of the most exciting projects I worked on during the course was building a fully functional World Clock web application. Through this hands-on project, I deepened my understanding of JavaScript, plugin's and dynamic DOM manipulation. This course not only strengthened my technical skills but also boosted my confidence to work on real-world web applications. The curriculum was structured to provide both foundational concepts and advanced problem-solving techniques. I now feel equipped to take on complex front-end projects and contribute meaningfully in a professional setting.

javascript was challenging, i had given up but this is my future so i came back and restarted from lesson 1 of JS again to not miss out on important information. i finally understood and my passion came back. so word of the day is DO NOT QUIT rather TRY AGAIN

I’ve really enjoyed the advanced Python workshop overall, most of the weeks were super engaging and well-structured. That said, Weeks 4 and 5 didn’t quite hit the mark for me. They felt a bit tedious and could have definitely been more interactive. Still giving it a 4 because the rest of the course (and the previous Python workshops) have been excellent!

The SheCodes Add-on helped me improve my coding skills in a fun and easy way. The lessons were clear, and I loved building real projects. It made me feel more confident with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more after the basic workshops.
