It's been so challenging but worth doing. The more you upgrade or get deeper into coding it becomes more challenging but doable when you give yourself time and be patient. I am so happy to be doing this, it is life changing.

This workshop was really helpful for me. I could learn to build a simple application like a world clock, which can prepare me for the next steps in my journey of building more complicated apps and websites.

Working on this travel project for the SheCodes Responsive course was an amazing learning experience. I got to practice HTML, CSS, and responsive design while creating a visually appealing and functional website. I especially enjoyed building the interactive cards, mini gallery, and map embeds, and experimenting with grids and hover effects to make the content more engaging. This project pushed me to pay attention to detail, accessibility, and overall user experience, and I’m really proud of the final result!

Joining SheCodes has been a wonderful learning experience for me. The program helped me understand coding concepts in a simple and practical way. I especially enjoyed working on real exercises that improved my confidence in programming. The supportive learning environment and clear explanations made the journey enjoyable and motivating. I most definitely recommend this course. It was really exciting and challenging at the same time. Every time I was able to complete a homework assignment, I would see just how much this course has taught me. And being able to complete the final project was such an amazing experience with a wonderful sense of achievement.

I have had so much fun putting in the work and learning this information. I'm only upset that I didn't start it sooner. This project was my SheCodes Week 4 responsive portfolio, and I’m really proud of how it turned out. I focused on creating a clean, modern design that showcases my frontend skills while being fully responsive across devices. I built interactive project cards, a hero section, and a custom footer with SVG social links, ensuring consistency in color, spacing, and typography. I also optimized images, added semantic HTML, and included SEO best practices like meta descriptions and Open Graph tags. Overall, this project allowed me to combine design and development skills into a professional, user-friendly portfolio that I can continue to build on!

It is always a blast and a privilege to learn more about tech and it's constantly evolving world. It was really interesting to learn how to use an API to create something so fun and personalised.

This has quite possibly been the most rewarding of all the SheCodes workshops so far! Matt does a really fabulous job of guiding you step by step through the process of building your own fully responsive and professional looking portfolio page. I also really appreciate how honest the video tutorials are in that Matt doesn't edit out any of the "oops, something's not working in my page/ my code has crashed" moments, not hiding the reality of how common place it is for all Developers of all experience levels to inevitably encounter problems that require a little problem solving. The support team were also really helpful when I ran into a bit of a hitch, getting back to me really quickly! The SheCodes team really do offer an excellent service!

Another fantastic course 🤩 Other courses I've done are text heavy with no demo examples - the SheCodes content is full of live video walk-throughs with explanations of what's happening while it's being done. So much easier to learn this way!

This has to be one of my favourites module in the course of my learning. It was such an insightful module and I'm glad to have been a part of this.

This course helped make advanced React approachable! I went from basic concepts to building a live Dictionary App from scratch. The clear, step-by-step guidance on API integration helped me turn theory into a professional project I’m genuinely proud to show off.

It was really nice to do a different type of project again in this bootcamp, and integrating multiple APIs. React is a really interesting library and left me feeling motivated to build more, and after the React and React Add-on workshops, I feel comfortable enough to utilize it in more of my portfolio projects.

I have completed my second certificate with SheCodes, and it has been a wonderful journey. I'd been postponing finishing the add-on programme, and after two weeks, I completed it, which was a much better experience. I have learned a lot. I have expanded my knowledge beyond what I had previously acquired.

Highly recommended, it guides you every step of the way and in the end you really do understand what you're doing.

Great next step from the Introduction Workshops

I'm really looking forward to the next step. I never thought I'd end up programming. As a radiologist, it was never my field, but the rapid changes in medicine offered me the opportunity to develop my skills.😌😃

SheCodes has provided me with a platform where I was able to learn how to code at my own pace, with assistance and such wonderful tutorials which made everything much easier to understand. This has been such a great experience for me, loved it.

Over the past five weeks, my journey learning Responsive Web Development has been both challenging and exciting. During this time, I gained practical skills in building web pages that adapt smoothly to different screen sizes using modern frontend techniques such as flexible layouts and media queries. This experience helped me better understand how real-world websites are developed to function effectively on phones, tablets, and desktops. The process strengthened my confidence in writing cleaner, more adaptable code and has motivated me to continue improving my skills in web development as I build more responsive and user-friendly websites.

SheCodes made coding feel less intimidating and actually fun to learn. I loved how the lessons were broken down into small, practical steps that helped me build real projects and see my progress quickly. As someone coming from a different academic background, it gave me the confidence to explore tech and realize that coding is something I can truly learn and enjoy.

A fun learning project, it took a lot of time with a lot of trail and errors. Sometimes got frustrated because I lost track of what I was coding but then the debugging starts and a lot of research online to find solutions, but I made it with the results I had in Mind.

Very straightforward and easy to follow the instructions.

I enjoyed learning how to integrate another aspect into HTML, CSS & JavaScript. As well as learning how to add a "loading" circle whilst the item was being generated.

I had fun with this project, I'm already thinking about all the potential applications :)

Advancing to the next stage has been a meaningful milestone for me. The project gave me the opportunity to turn ideas from my mind into something real through code and explore the creative side of building. It has really increased my confidence in coding and motivated me to keep learning and creating more!

This was a project I have been waiting for. To build my own website and it not disappoint as usual. With completion of each course, I get more and more excited to move forward. I recently completed the SheCodes Plus AI workshop and it was an amazing experience. In this workshop, I learned how to work with an AI API to generate dynamic content such as poems, jokes, and other creative text directly in a web application. It was exciting to see how AI can be integrated into projects to create interactive and engaging user experiences. The lessons were clear, practical, and very easy to follow. I really enjoyed building my AI powered project and gaining hands on experience using APIs and JavaScript together. This workshop made learning AI concepts feel approachable and fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course. It's been a great introduction and I feel I have learnt a lot more than I thought I would. The course has been easy to follow with everything clearly explained. It's also really easy to track where you are in the course. Projects are also checked quickly once submitted. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to give coding a go, even if you haven't done any before.

Everything I learned in my previous courses started clicking into place, and the repetition of practicing and replicating real layouts made it stick in a way that just reading never could. I am getting back into coding after years of having to stop going to college from how sick I became. The first time I learned about SheCodes, I knew that it was a sign for me to get back into coding. Even though I've been sick through the first week, I did enjoy it and the extension when I needed it. Thank you so much and I can't wait to complete everything from start to end.

The most challenging lesson of SheCodes Basics Add On, for me, was the grid lesson. Since my images are different sizes it was a challenge to make the page aesthetically pleasing. I'm looking forward to adopting best practices that will expand my skills writing readable, efficient code.

This workshop allowed me to gain even more understanding at Python, API integration and AI. It challenged me, but it also showed me that my linguistics background can be pretty useful to help me understand and build the applications.

I loved creating this landing page for Lisbon, a city I truly love and call home. This course has been an incredible journey the more I code, the better I get at understanding how everything works and seeing my ideas come to life!

Very useful and super easy to follow!

I really enjoyed learning more things about coding, but I honestly HATED having to use CodeSandbox because it was slow and it made my laptop slow as well. I also enjoyed doing the weather project, and I would've finished sooner had it not been for JavaScript being so difficult and making me quit every other day. Despite everything, I am happy that I have been able to complete this course, and I can now move onto a new one.

It was a very engaging task. I didn't expect to be so captivated. I spent almost a whole day on it, using AI assistance, and I think I managed to write a wonderful page.

It's a fun and interesting experience, especially if you're new to the subject. It's easy to follow and shows you in little steps what to do, which really helps the adhd brain.

SheCodes is a really amazing site to learn coding and I would recommend to others to try as well

This Responsive Add-on course was a wonderful continuation of the Responsive workshop. It helped me deepen my understanding of how to refine layouts and create more polished responsive pages using CSS Grid and media queries. I particularly enjoyed focusing on the small design details that make a page feel structured and user-friendly across different screen sizes. The final project was especially meaningful for me because it allowed me to create a responsive landing page honouring the ‘Mothers of Technology’ and celebrating the women who helped shape the foundations of our digital world. I also enjoyed integrating elements such as embeds and responsive media into the page while adapting and refining the layout throughout the project. A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes Team 💜 for another inspiring and rewarding learning experience!

I really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes Plus. Building a weather app throughout the course was both fun and rewarding, and it helped me put my new skills into practice. It was exciting to see how everything came together, from working with APIs to displaying real-time data. Learning advanced JavaScript pushed me to try even more advanced features in my project and experiment with new ideas while developing the weather app. It motivated me to go further with my project and explore what I could build with the tools we learned.
