Great course, simple to follow along with. There are some very challenging parts in this week's project but the She Codes team are really responsive and available to help. This is my final project and can't recommend the Bootcamp course enough. I went from almost zero knowledge to a full portfolio and the readiness to change career. If anyone is unsure how to start of in the tech world, get onto these courses!

SheCodes Next was the reality check I didn't know I needed—and exactly what bridged the gap between "I can code" and "I'm ready for the job market." This wasn't theoretical career advice. It was practical, actionable strategy for positioning yourself as a technical professional. I walked away with tangible deliverables: a rebuilt portfolio showcasing my new technical skills, a completely reworked resume that speaks both PMM and developer languages, and a LinkedIn profile that finally reflects my hybrid skill set.The most valuable takeaway? You need to be applying while you're still learning. This course pushed me to research actual job postings, identify relevant tech conferences, and start positioning myself in the market immediately—not "someday when I'm ready." That shift in mindset alone was worth the investment.

This was a fantastic course! The curriculum is well-structured and incredibly practical. It is truly eye-opening to see what AI is capable of achieving these days—it has completely changed my perspective on data analysis and automation.

You can go at your own pace which is very appreciated ! I completed the she codes basics a very long time ago and was able to come back and refresh on what i have learned.

It's a good program with a good project at the end, but some videos are out of date with their websites and what works and what doesn't. While that is acknowledged in the video, it is not very helpful having to watch the video still, and then figure out what to do with the updated websites. Still a great project, just frustrating sometimes

As an aspiring UX Designer looking to understand the technical side of my work, I found this course to be an excellent introduction to web coding. The curriculum is highly systematic, breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps. By the time I reached the final project, I had the skills and confidence to build a website from scratch. I highly recommend this course to anyone curious about coding or looking to expand their professional skillset.

Great course to learn from when starting as a beginner! Videos were very helpful and easy to follow. Final projects were fun to create.

I am 31 years old and decided to switch careers. This workshop was perfect because of the flexibility and online community. I am proud to have finished the first certificate and look forward to completing the others!

When I first saw these classes I thought it was your typical complicated self-paced course, with zero direction and them expecting you to know everything at first go. As soon as I began my perspective changed completely, not only are the study videos helpful but the challenges test your knowledge and give more guidance especially if you did not understand. I came here with minimal knowledge of HTML&CSS, now I know how to build an interactive webpage using JavaScript as a part of the code. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Easy to follow!

I joined SheCodes with zero coding experience but thus far I have accumulated some basic coding skills and I am very grateful for the opportunity,though I experienced some challenges here and there but that does not take away from the fact that the lessons were made to be easily comprehended and enjoyable.

The SheCodes React Add-On pushed me beyond tutorial-following into genuine React thinking. What made this course valuable wasn't perfection. It was a productive struggle. Wrestling with state management, API response structures, and component architecture taught me why patterns exist, not just how to copy them. Debugging undefined data and conditional rendering logic was frustrating at times, but that's exactly where real learning happened. The dictionary project strikes an excellent balance: beginner-accessible yet realistic. Integrating external APIs, managing loading states, and handling deployment felt close to actual development work. I also appreciated the emphasis on clean code practices, ESLint warnings, and accessibility requirements, which built good habits from day one. The result? I now confidently read React code, debug my own mistakes, and build on real projects independently.

I love how easy it was to learn the basics and the challenges after the lessons are quite fun. SheCodes Basics has made me realize just how much I might actually love coding!

I've enjoyed this course. At points it was quite challenging, but I found being able to go back over previous lessons really helped me properly understand and retain new skills. I now feel much more confident using JavaScript, APIs, and GitHub.

This one was challenging, and it's easy to get disheartened when your code does not work but with patience, resilience, and consistency, I was able to finally complete the workshop. Although I had moments of great frustration, this workshop was very fun and fulfilling.

Working on this dictionary app has been such a rewarding experience! It’s super cool to bring together multiple APIs — from dictionary definitions and phonetics audio to fetching beautiful images from Pexels — all in one smooth, interactive React app. I loved learning how to handle async data fetching, manage state with hooks, and build reusable components that really work together seamlessly. Plus, integrating audio playback with a little speaker icon was fun! This project gave me solid, hands-on experience with real-world API integration and React best practices. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to level up their frontend skills in a practical, engaging way.

This course was amazing! I learned how to work with AI APIs and actually built my own AI Poem Generator website, which I deployed on Netlify. I feel much more confident making real projects now, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to go from learning to building.

SheCodes Basics was an amazing first-glance into coding, Matt was an incredible instructor! Would highly recommend!

This workshop is great. It is challenging but fun, at the same time. I learned a lot about CSS, HTML and Javascript. I really liked learning about Javascript. I plan to take more SheCodes workshops.

really good videos to follow. Some information outdated but workers on slack were always very helpful ! very happy with this!

Learning Python really challenged me, and it was not an intuitive language for me to learn (even though lots of programmers I know say it is the easiest language). However, the lessons were short and to the point, which helped me avoid getting overwhelmed with the challenges. I also needed a lot of extra practice to cement concepts in my head, so I really appreciated the extra resources provided outside the main lessons and challenges as they allowed me to play around more on my own. Once I started recognising mistakes in my code *before* I ran it and the programme crashed, I really turned a corner and started enjoying myself more.

Enjoyed this workshop very much.

It was very interesting to learn about different time zones in one task. I did not struggle that much on this workshop.

I wanted to make a slightly whimsical weather app, with a CSS design in shades of purple. I also used some animations of sun and moon emoticons to add visual interest. This SheCodes module has been great for better understanding and using JavaScript, especially functions. My favourite part was customising the app with my own style.

I'm officially a junior frontend developer thanks to shecodes.

Good recap of a mini html + css + js project

I loved this project. We have family all over the world, so it was fun to do this project and show it to my children, who could appreciate the meaning of the different time zones and how it linked to different members of our family. I recall Matt saying that at some point things will start to 'click' and this was the project where I really felt this.

I can feel a lot more understanding of JavaScript at the end of this add-on, and I'm so interested to see what else is possible.

Completing the SheCodes Plus Add‑on has been a really rewarding experience that helped me deepen my understanding of front‑end development in a practical, hands‑on way. Over the two weeks, I learned how to work with more advanced JavaScript concepts and apply them to build a fully functional World Clock application. In Week 1, I explored new HTML input types and select elements, which helped me understand how to create more interactive and user‑friendly forms. I also learned how to use JavaScript timing events, work with different date formats, and handle global time zones — all skills that felt technical at first but became much clearer through the structured lessons and challenges. Week 2 brought everything together through the World Clock project. I built the layout using HTML and CSS, then added JavaScript to display the time for single and multiple locations, update the clock in real time, and show the user’s local time. Seeing the project come to life step by step really boosted my confidence and showed me how these individual skills combine to create something polished and functional. The Plus Add‑on has strengthened my understanding of advanced JavaScript and improved my ability to build interactive features from scratch. I can also highly recommend the Basic Add-on course. With the additional information, websites become more professional and you learn how to create image galleries. The step-by-step instructions are very easy for beginners to understand.

SheCodes Next equipped me with practical tools for portfolio building, job applications, and professional networking. I'm grateful to the SheCodes instructor for the valuable career and professional tools.

It was a lot of fun to learn Python in connection with AI on a project basis. With each task, the project was expanded and optimized until the final project week. It was explained in an easy and understandable way. It was also great that what I learned in the Python Basic course could be deepened in the Python AI course through further application and development. I am taking a lot away from the course and am looking forward to continuing.

SheCodes React takes you from React-curious to confident. Beginner-friendly yet challenging, it focuses on hands-on projects that look professional and impress recruiters. I started with very limited React experience and a lot of imposter syndrome. Terms like components, props, state, and API integration felt foreign. SheCodes made these concepts click, giving me the confidence to actually build with React. Lessons aren’t just theory. From the first module, you’re building real projects—reusable components, API calls, and live data fetching. By the end, I had a fully functional weather app in my portfolio, which was incredibly motivating.

SheCodes made coding feel way less scary and way more fun. The lessons were super clear, beginner-friendly, and actually practical. I went from “what is HTML?” to building real projects without wanting to cry. It boosted my confidence a lot and made me genuinely excited to keep learning. Learning React is not easy, but the instructor does a really good job when explaining his stuff.

The React Add-On project is a fantastic test of logic. It challenges you to manage multiple components and API data flows without over-engineering or creating messy code. While the complexity of nesting components can be intimidating at first, the real fun begins once you understand the 'why' behind the structure. It’s a rewarding experience that proves anyone can succeed in React if they focus on clean data flow and organized components.

SheCodes Next was the cherry on top of what I felt was a transformative experience that allowed me to learn what my career goals are, where I grew in knowledge and comfort with a number of languages, systems, and technologies that will allow me to pursue a new career path. Clear course

I took a two-year break between lessons, and it was so easy to pick back up with Python and start learning again! Matt is a great teacher. The lessons are easy to follow, and the challenges and homework are well-designed, so I feel like I'm really strengthening my skills.

I learned how to iterate, debug, and improve a multi-page site using Bootstrap. The emphasis on practical problem-solving and incremental improvement closely reflected real-world development workflows, with clear guidance on building and refining responsive layouts across screen sizes.

I appreciate Matt walking us through step-by-step. And there's a lot of learning to be had, even when we come upon roadblocks.
