Artificial intelligence, so far has been the most challenging out of this bootcamp and I am grateful for the introductory understanding of how I'm supposed to use it as a tool.

This project was a real test. I cannot remember being this frustrated over something I couldn't get right on the get-go or on the first or second try, but I'm blown away that I built a fully functional weather app from the ground up.

A step closer to my dream career path. SheCodes is phenomenal.

Lots of nights going to bed in the am's. I’ve learnt so much, most importantly the program is very rewarding. I have learnt to appreciate and interact with websites differently. The mind is a wonderful tool when exercised, and this section of the program has made me feel like I'm on the right path.

In his book Atomic Habits, author James Clear mentions the research work of psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi on "flow states." The idea is that humans do best when a task is about 4-5% greater than their current abilities, enough to be engaged and prevent boredom but not so challenging that the person gets frustrated and gives up. Matt has a very good intuition for this. Each lesson or challenge contains just enough of an increase in difficulty to build confidence and encourage the student to keep learning.

Moment.js truly makes life easier

Building the React Weather App was such a fun project! I got to use everything I’ve learned about React — hooks, APIs, and responsive design — and it was so satisfying to see live weather data update in real time. It really boosted my confidence in creating interactive apps from scratch.

My SheCodes journey has truly been life-changing. When I started, I knew very little about coding, but SheCodes gave me the confidence and support to believe that I could build real projects on my own. From learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to creating my very first weather app, I’ve grown so much not just as a coder, but as a problem-solver and creative thinker.

This workshop helped me improve my coding skills. It was well structured and I leraned so much in such a short time.

The AI plus workshop was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The lessons pushed me to think deeper and apply concepts in real projects. I finished with stronger skills and more confidence in my coding abilities.

Really enjoyed this course and building on my skills from SheCodes Basic. I love the teaching method, resources and flexibility of SheCodes, it really suits my learning style and I had to take an unexpected break during this course and it was great to be able to request extensions and pick it back up once I was ready to continue.

Learning basic coding has been an eye-opening experience. It taught me how logic and creativity work together to solve problems and build something from scratch. Even simple projects, like creating a webpage gave me a sense of accomplishment and confidence. Coding has also improved my critical thinking, patience, and attention to detail. These skills that are useful far beyond the computer screen.

With this add-on, you learn to make a responsive project on your own and without the bootstrap system, very interesting to show it this way.

Shecodes approach for teaching coding is tremendous. During learning, we had to do the assignments otherwise we could not jump to the next one. I personally watch only videos instead of practicing which is not a good habit but this method of Matt forces students to practice. I love the everything. I am so proud of finishing this . It was a bit of a challenge but I did it.

i really enjoying making another project using react because i felt that I got a better understanding.

The past few weeks on this have been an incredible learning experience! From revising HTML/CSS/JS to diving into APIs and using them to integrate data into the app, the design of this workshop was very helpful. Having the chance to work on the project alongside Matt, who was working on his own, made a huge difference. It helped avoid bugs and provided the benefit of having a (kind of) coding partner. The explanations were thorough and easy to follow. This workshop will be especially enjoyable for anyone looking for a challenge, and the results will leave you feeling really proud of what you have accomplished!

SheCodes Basics is easy to follow and encourages you to explore on your own. It leaves you curious and motivated to learn more. The course is well-structured, with engaging challenges and homeworks that make practicing both fun and effective. I highly recommend it, especially for beginners.

The lessons were a clear and engaging introduction to programming, easy to follow and perfectly paced for beginners. Matt’s explanations made Python easy to understand. The final projects were both fun and practical, helping me understand how Python can be used in real situations.

I am amazed at how this learning process has given me the confidence to code an entire website. The last time I did it, I used WordPress, and everything seemed so confusing — doable, but confusing, because I didn’t understand the background of what I was doing. But now, I can build it from scratch and personalize everything I need and want. This is the first step in the creation of my portfolio website and, as an Architect, a step that gives me full freedom to display my Projects in the way I see fit for them. Amazing !!!!!!!!!

This course completely transformed how I approach web development. The lessons on responsive design were clear, practical, and immediately applicable. I learned how to make webpages look great on any device from desktops to smartphones using flexible layouts, media queries, and modern CSS techniques

Diving into programming languages which included HTML, CSS and JavaScript was mind boggling and a good learning experience. The instructor did not only make it easy to complete lessons and assignments but ensured that support was provided throughout.

I enjoyed learning new skills and the opportunity to put these to the test with each of the challenges. I think the course is well structured and the concepts are clearly explained.

Building this World Clock was a great learning experience. Implementing real-time clocks, time zones, and dynamic city selection strengthened my JavaScript and DOM skills.

After completing the 3 week Introduction to Coding course, I decided to continue with the SheCodes Plus course. Overall a good experience, enjoying the structure and that you get to build on your code/webpage with every lesson.

The lessons are laid out well, covering advanced Python stuff with loads of practical examples that make things easier to get. The hands-on projects were helpful for putting what I learnt into practice.

Wow, that was really a lot of code. I love the journey. I will definitely be enjoying working with or in React. Thank you Matt and team for everything. I wish you the very best!
