I really enjoyed learning about the HTML Select and JS Timezones. It really helped with understanding how to build the world clock, which was an awesome project!
This one was super fun! It felt like we had more freedom to be creative this time around due to already having experience with the the HTML, JavaScript and CSS properties, so it was easier to get stuck in and create fun designs. Side note: I really like the Athena AI help as it saves you having to go through all the videos and your notes to find a quick answer to your question.
Each lesson walks us through the activity with clarity that makes learning enjoyable and effective. The repeated practice helps with building confidence and knowledge.

The SheCodes Python AI Workshop was a fun and practical introduction to using AI in Python projects. I learned how to build a travel itinerary generator powered by an AI API. I made HTTP requests, constructed dynamic prompts using f-strings, and extracted relevant information from JSON responses.

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus coding workshop, and I canβt recommend it enough! Over the course of 8 lessons, we built an interactive global weather appβan awesome hands-on project that really brought everything together. While continuing to build on our HTML and CSS skills, we took a deeper dive into JavaScript and APIs, which was such an exciting step forward. I give so much credit to SheCodes for the way theyβve developed these workshops. Matt does an incredible job explaining the why behind what weβre learning, laying a strong foundation that truly sticks. The program also provides tons of helpful resources that I know Iβll be referring back to throughout my coding journey. One of the most fun parts for me was working with APIs. I had experience collaborating with developers on API configurations in a previous role, but actually being the developer this time around was a whole new (and super empowering) experience. It reminded me exactly why I decided to take the leap into coding. SheCodes really is setting us up for success, and Iβm so glad to be part of this community!

Over the past few weeks, I have been learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through SheCodes, and it has been an exciting and rewarding experience. Iβve also explored CSS for styling, learning about colors, positioning, borders, and spacing, which has helped me understand how to structure and design web pages. One of the most exciting parts has been diving into JavaScriptβunderstanding variables and events has shown me how coding can make websites interactive. Although I haven't built a full website yet, I now feel confident using VS Code and other coding tools to write and test my code.
