This was a tough but rewarding add-on. As a person who uses dark theme on all platforms that allow it, I can't imagine not learning how to build a dark theme toggle button myself. So glad I did!
This was an interesting class, although a lot of the material was very easy or repetitive.
I wanted to say thank you so much for everyone who helped me with Slack and a big shout out to Matt his videos and tips were amazing. Such a nice and refreshing course. I had a very great experience learning with SheCodes. It's a very comprehensive workshop and it helped me understand basics of computer science as someone who had no experience.

SheCodes is an excellent platform for beginners. I have never taken a coding class before and I found the learning methods used by SheCodes to be very helpful to my learning journey.

Great workshop!
Seeing my first React projects live and working is a huge satisfaction, I have to admit. However, during the SheCodes React workshop, I felt I couldn't gain organic skills, as some crucial pieces of information were missing and some topics were treated quite hastily.
It was a great continuation of the Basic course, can't wait to start the next one and learn more 👩🏻💻

What I loved was that everything is explained very clearly and going through the workshop is very straightforward. You get plenty of moments to practice. The SheCodes Team is very nice and respond quickly to your questions (and otherwise the SheCodes Community is there for you). I really enjoyed this workshop and I definitely recommend it!
A great course! Thanks SheCodes team for making learning to code accessible and fun! This time we learned to make websites responsive to any desktops and phones. And have built our own portfolio site. Can't wait to create new projects!

I have to say that I really enjoyed this first contact with the programming area. The SheCodes program is super well structured and makes sure that we are not discouraged in the face of difficulties. Being able to attend classes when it suits us is definitely a big advantage. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back to deepen my knowledge in the area.

A really hectic week. Very challenging, very informative. I've learnt so much from Matt's classes, the program is very supportive. I also love how the team isn't spoonfeeding, and leaves room for you to consult other resources such as Google in order to find ways to deal with other challenges as well as be creative. Genuinely loved every step of the way.

Doing this course has really helped me feel like I'm finally getting somewhere with coding. I liked how the course was designed and all of the necessary support was available.
I found this workshop very intuitive and very enjoyable; Matt and his team did a really lovely job breaking everything down into digestible pieces. I'm so excited and proud to apply coding knowledge to personal projects now. As a designer, its nice to be able to make a site look exactly as you want it to, without many restrictions.

The shecodes Plus was so informational. So much information that I have learned in this course. It was an amazing experience creating a real life weather app.I still can't wrap my head around that I made a weather app.
Really enjoyed this course. I've done other similar courses through Udemy and Coursera and much prefer the hands-on, visual teaching style of SheCodes.
What a brilliant course to learn about something so fascinating - I'd have found it a real struggle to keep up with any other kind of teaching format. I've found it so enjoyable that I've finished much sooner than the length of 3 weeks and am keen to sign up to the next course! Highly recommend to anybody even mildly curious - this will whet your appetite for more 😄

It was interesting and fun to learn basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Lessons are understandable, nicely explained and they make you look for some answers by yourself, which is very rewarding. I am looking forward to continue learning with SheCodes.
Some time ago I decided to reshape my life by learning to code. It turned out to be much easier and clearer than I thought. Now I can't imagine a day without coding.

This course pushes you to overcome some of the challenges you will face as a developer. I have learned so many new techniques and tricks to solve some of the common issues. I'm happy with the program and all the knowlege I have gained over the course of several months. I highly recommend this course.
I've taken a few online courses over the years, but it is safe to say that SheCodes tops them all by far. Matt is highly skilled at breaking down complex information into manageable and understandable chunks in a logical order that allows you to gradually build a solid foundation of knowledge, which is further reinforced by the demonstrations and examples provided in the lessons, and your own practice via the lesson challenges, homework and projects. As a visual and practical learner, these methods have helped me so so much, and I've learned and retained so much more than I was ever expecting. Matt has also managed what I previously believed was impossible - to make programming less scary (and fun)! Thanks again for this wonderful experience.

She Codes was the perfect way to learn some coding! The Basics course was a great way to test out coding to see if that is the path I'd like to pursue in Tech. I decided to pursue UX and PM'ing instead, and the best part is that these coding skills will help on that path as well! I am so excited to be transitioning my career into Tech. She Codes created an amazing space and tool for me to upskill on my time in a very optimistic and encouraging environment. I definitely would recommend SheCodes courses.

I loved learning about making a light/dark theme for the website. I feel like it is definitely something I will want to incorporate into other projects, like the weather app. As always, these courses are very easy to follow and push me to learn new skills.

I have learned so much from this course! It was intensive but worth it.
I built a weather app using React that shows real-time forecasts for any city. It fetches live data from an API, displays current and future weather conditions, and even includes a dynamic weather icon that changes based on the forecast. Through this project, I strengthened my skills in React hooks (useState, useEffect), API integration, and responsive design. It was rewarding to see how React makes interactive apps fast and efficient! Skills Applied: React, API calls, state management, responsive CSS
I've enjoyed the workshops so far. I have learned so much and am grateful to Matt and SheCodes for giving me the tools I need to enter into a career in software engineering. I am looking forward to the rest of the workshops!

I recently took an online workshop on coding and I was amazed at how comprehensive it was! Each concept is explained in details. The course material was well organized and gave me the tools I needed to start coding right away. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to get started with coding.

Kudos to Matt and his team for developing a fun but informative way for women (especially busy working class females) to learn coding. This is a course that every female should pursue because not only are you armed with another skillset, but you will be in a network of smart females. My feedback on this course: I got value for my money, course was presented in a well written and sequential way. The course weekly assessments were of very high standard and the entire hands-on approach was what made this course suitable for females of every walks and background.
