This course was challenging, especially with all the JavaScript involved. However, I understand now how important is JavaScript to keep everything nice and tidy. I am so grateful for the opportunity to to continue learning from SheCodes.
I canβt express my feeling about how good shecodes is with words, I just want to say, just start learning to code with shecodes and feel what Iβm feeling.
SheCodes has given me more insight into coding, and SheCodes basic feels like a good starting point to learning more.
SheCodes React was definitely the most challenging of the courses but totally worth it! At first, React seemed hard and complex but as always Matt and the rest of the team were there to explain and break things down as well as correct mistakes. I have gained a lot from all the courses and I want to say a big THANK YOU to SheCodes and the Delac Foundation β€β€β€
Although just a week long course, this basics add-on bonus gave me more insight on how to curate an interesting and more accessible web page for people who may enjoy using page themes online.

Cool project! I wanted to create one function for all default cities, so I've been struggling a little. But, it was worth it, because I'm even more proud of myself right now ππ. I also added a button to change a clock into dark theme β€οΈ. I had super fun, as always π₯°.

I had zero experience before I started but I have always been very curious to try. The course lived up to my expectations and more: I didn't expect to learn so many things in three weeks. I really liked the practical approach (even though sometimes I had a feeling I was learning only the tip of the iceberg but that's my perfectionism that wants to know all the details and terms etc... right away. :) I love how my love for design, creativity and problem-solving all came together in this course! Building React is quite challenging but exciting. A little patient and in the end you achieve nice result.

Found this course quite easy, having a little understanding beforehand helped but I'm a complete novice when it comes to Javascript. This course was a real eye opener and I've learned so much already! Can't wait to jump into the next workshop and expand my knowledge and skills.
It was a little bit procrastinated because of holidays, but I made it. Responsive course was harder, complicated but useful and had so much practice and new skills. I currently work as an admin officer in the UK, but was looking for a career change. This workshop has been the first step in my journey towards becoming a web developer and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I would highly recommend SheCodes. Not only is Matt a great teacher, but the fact that money from the workshops goes to fund the Delac Foundation to support women around the world is a bonus. Until now I have struggled with coding, it never seemed to 'click' with me. After being laid off from work the week before Christmas I decided to do something to boost my hireability. After completing this workshop I actually feel that I can code. It has been a major confidence boost and I look forward to continuing with more advanced SheCodes workshops.
This is was probably one of the easiest courses to follow. I am surprised with how much information i was able to grasp. The challenges are a great addition to the course as it allows you to practice your skills. This is my first time experience of coding and i can't wait to complete all the workshops.
It was both- hard and easy, because explenation is on the Top-level! I would highly recommend it to everyone!
I decided to join SheCodes Plus after completing SheCodes Basics and I feel like I have learnt so much over the last 8 weeks. I found the course interesting and challenging, and I have gone from not knowing anything about coding to being able to code a weather app that displays live weather data. After doing the She Codes Basics course I got a taste of coding and I loved the challenge so I jumped in and decided to continue my coding journey. At times challenging, but so rewarding when you can see your hard work coming together. Great lessons, that you can follow along with, and a cool and knowledgeable support team and community on Slack if you ever get stuck. So amazing! Would recommend to everyone with aspirations to learn to code.

I am a UX Designer. I learned how to code back in university mainly backend languages (java, python), and being a designer I wanted to better understand developers' perspectives when handing off designs for development. This was the perfect workshop for a good refresher on the basics of front-end development. I love how the concepts are broken down really well which makes it easier to grasp information and love the supportive community on slack.

The SheCodes Plus Workshop was highly challenging and delved more into JavaScript than the previous course. Although it was difficult at times, it does an excellent job of showcasing the power of JavaScript and all the things you can accomplish with it. Not only did I learn a lot about how to make sure the websites I'm building are also responsive & easy to be viewed on smaller pages (like from a phone), but at the end, I even came out with a beautiful portfolio that I now cannot wait to expand with even more projects!
