That was fun! I enjoyed having the mini challenges at the end of each lesson; they were hands-on and used to ensure I understood the lesson. I recommend this course to someone with little or no coding experience. It's creative, fun, challenging and immensely rewarding when you see what you've been able to build by yourself!
SheCodes is by far the best and easiest coding course I have ever come across. They make it easy by allowing you to complete the workshops at your own pace and Matt makes coding incredibly easy to understand.
It was such a nice pace to work through and incredibly detailed in terms of what knowledge to gain.
Easy instructions and interesting
This course was just what I needed to help kickstart my career in web development. I learned a lot and Matt was a great teacher!
I have tried to learn coding many times by taking online courses but it was difficult and boring. Recently, I have decided to take SheCodes basics as my last chance before I give up completelyπ. Surprisingly, I have enjoyed learning coding in a simple and understandable way. Now itβs time to rethink my decision π.

Hello everyone, I'm just a regular retail associate who just wants to do more. I do have a bachelor's degree in fine arts, but I don't really have anything to show for it, since I don't have a career in that field. So to feel not so "stuck" I decided to learn coding. I took the basic course 1) to see if I could actually do it and 2) to see if I would actually like it. The SheCodes basic course taught me I could do it, and I do actually kind of like it. The courses do have their challenges sometimes but you can easily get the help you need and Matt, the instructor, breaks everything down really nicely. I never thought online- learning could be for me but after taking this course I don't find it that bad. In my opinion, you can't go wrong in taking the basic course, it gives you an idea of what an actual career in tech could be and for little cost.
This was a fun project, and I learned a lot!
I was looking to learn coding for a long time and I found this school that allowed me to combine my schedules and personal duties, with my need for training and training. Although I took my time to do it, it has been very useful and beneficial. I feel that by taking the program, a training door was opened that I definitely want to be a part of! Thank you

Great intro to coding!
I have finally completed the Basics SheCodes Workshop and it's safe to say that I love it! My favourite part was learning about CSS because I love making the websites pretty and unique. JavaScript was really difficult for me but Matt explained everything nice and clearly. I can't wait to start my next workshop and develop my skillsπ

The course was great. In this course I've learned about advanced topics in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Working with GitHub, various APIs, and platforms like Sandbox and Netlify were the other positive points.

I have 6 years' experience as Education and Compliance manager in an IT company and while I was good at my job and worked hard, the position didn't excite me, so I searched for something more fulfilling. Since I worked closely with the developers, I was interested in the opportunity to try myself in this role. My goal is to get a job in a reputed company where I can use my skills and knowledge to deliver good results in the long term. I want to create useful app for women health.
As someone with no coding experience but with a keen interest in pursuing a new career as a Frontend Developer, SheCodes has been absolutely fantastic in providing me with a foundation to build my knowledge and techniques. This workshop was an excellent extension to the Weather app, and built a bit further on the principles we learned before. Definitely worth the time and effort, and I feel more confident tackling different APIs now.
