SheCodes React Workshop was a game-changer for me. In just a few weeks, I learnt to build React Weather app with confidence. SheCodes really made me LOVE coding!! At first, I chose to follow the SheCodes Basics class for personal and general knowledge but now, I developed a true enjoyment for coding. I will probably continue to invest in other classes to pursue my coding journey! π
The courses were super easy to follow and the homework was very straightforward and great practice of what was discussed in the course.

I enjoyed this course. It was very challenging which was good for me. I was provided assistance all the way through until the end. I would say completing the assignments weekly was very hard especially as the weeks went on but the assistance on slack is very reliable and timely. Overall, this is a good course.

Basics Add-On was a good exercise and extension after having completed the Basics workshop. I love that I can make the webpage more visually dynamic. The course took me a day to complete. Hands down, the sequence of the workshops was amazing. Once you have mastered or drilled in the basic steps, it is really easy to move forward from there. However, I did encounter two issues that I wasn't able to solve alone, and asking for help on Slack wasn't fruitful. Luckily, I have resources at home. With that said, having a team on Slack does provide me with an emotional safety net.
Many thanks to the entire SheCodes team for opening up the world of programming for me. Thank you for making your lessons so easy to understand. Thank you for your hard work, support and for the chance to learn how to code for free. Looking forward to continuing my education :)

When I started SheCodes basics, I had no background in coding. I had no Idea on how to do anything related to coding but now I know a thing or two. Also, Matt makes coding really fun! he is a great instructor.
I really enjoyed this workshop. Matt explains everything in a simple, digestible way. I have ADD and long learning videos are usually super tiring for me, so the short moduls were great. Same for the challenges with deadlines - I learn best by physically doing the thing I'm studying (plus I'm more likely to actually practice, if someone else is "waiting" for a result), so this was great, aswell. Looking forward to the next one!
I thoroughly enjoyed the course! The tutorials were very informative and challenges very helpful in applying what we learned.
I have always thought that websites automatically resize themselves when viewed in different mediums (cellphone, laptop), through SheCodes Response I have learned that it is the developer's job to do that.
The course gives step-by-step instructions how to start with React, create components, use state, fetch data using API. Matt is a great instructor, he explains every little detail and how things work in a simple way. I had a little problem with deployment, and SheCodes team helped via Slack channel promptly. The best course I have taken so far!
The world of codes is a fantastic world. It sometimes be difficult, but it so practical. I would be recommended coding workshops of Shecode foundation to anybody who likes coding.

SheCodes Plus opened up a whole new world for me. It was super fun and challenging to build a page with actual data and to have opportunity to play around with styling in a more advanced way. Highly recommended!
It's been 3 weeks of intense learning and project execution. I've grasped the foundation and have successfully applied HTML, CSS and JavaScript in building a project in this coding workshop.
I truely liked the class, everything in the videos is explained clearly, and i liked the fact that i can practice after every video. Sooo thakful for the efforts given and for all the team behind this! :)
SheCodes Responsive was my favorite course that I've taken so far! I really enjoyed creating a responsive website and getting more proficient at the process of writing code.
I think this was an alright lecture, with some useful links to websites and extensions. However, I think some of this information was quite generic.
I was surprised how complicated this was, love it
I am a Special Education Teacher with no experience in coding. Coding is something completely outside of the box for me and that is exactly what I was looking for. This class was presented in a way that I enjoyed and learned a lot from. I'm looking forward to sign up for the next class.
This was a tough ride! However with all the systematic lessons by Matt and the support from other SheCoders in Slack, it made it so much easier for me. I truly enjoyed all the classes! SheCodes Basics entry to coding was exactly what I needed to get started. The lessons were taught in an easy-to-digest way, and the support system in the Slack channel was incredible. I never felt lost or without help. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to understand the very basics of coding before deciding to invest in further education.
SheCodes Plus Add-On was another great workshop by Matt! I really enjoyed diving deeper into javascript and enjoyed building a new and exciting project in such a short period of time.
It was a great experience! Sometimes it was difficult, but interesting to find out how to fix a certain error yourself. As always, very cool videos and explanations!
This project is a great guide for anyone wanting help to finalize a portfolio page. If you already have knowledge of building websites, Matt is also giving you tools how to climb the Google ranks.

Our team secured second place in the hackathon, and I have no doubt that the skills and confidence I gained from SheCodes played a pivotal role. I have really enjoyed SheCodes so far! I love that it feels as if they thought of any possible event/question that you might have and gave you the tools to overcome them before you even had to reach out for help! Matt is also incredibly good at explaining things simply and logically, which makes learning much more enjoyable. I used to see coding as something only a few (that had studied for years and years) could understand, but thanks to SheCodes, now I know that if you have the right people to teach you and have your heart set to learn it, you can start understanding a few things since day 1!

I have been working at a technology company and even though I don't use coding on my day-to-day, I realized how much of a difference understanding the basics can make. I decided to do this course because I attended one of the free workshops and I thought was easy to understand. I always had an interest in technology and I remember sitting in my room all day as a teenager, in front of my computer, coding new looks for my personal blog. This brought me back to those moments and I am very grateful. It's been a fun journey and it made me want to learn more.
Absolutely love Matt's step-by-step approach! Lots of aha moments while I worked on my Plus project, and the SheCodes team were just a Slack message away whenever I got stuck. On to the next workshop!
One of my favorite workshops yet! I learned how to create an entire responsive webpage embedded with media such as videos, music, social media posts, etc. This was quite enlightening and overall fun!

SheCodes Responsive was a very tough workshop. But with Matt's hands-on videos and explanations, he made it very easy to understand. At the end of this workshop, I realized I have learned so much! I have really enjoyed this course! Matt is a great instructor. It is something I really look forward to in my day as a stay-at-home mom of two toddlers. The challenges, weekly homework and final project were just the fuel I needed to rewire and re-ignite a dusty mind. I would highly recommend SheCodes to any woman looking to get into front-end development and I am thankful for the opportunity afforded to me by the Delac Foundation.
I had lot's of fun completing weekly challenges and the project. The biggest advantage of this course is that you can postpone a submission date and study with your pace.
This was absolutely intense. But was so much Fun. Would highly recommend to do the Workshop.

I really liked this; it had many useful tips on the next step to finding a job. I was worried I didn't have a clue where to begin but after this, once I have put the useful tips in place I feel I will be in a better position to land the right job.
The workshop was definitely worth my time
This workshop was one of the best experiences I have had in the tech world. The delivery of the study material is outstanding! I like how we are introduced to so many dev tricks and tools, how to make your work cleaner and more efficient. SheCodes does not sacrifice fun and enjoyment just to sound overly educational. In fact, they incorporate fun and education to deliver an environment you cannot get enough of. I absolutely enjoyed the process and growth.
It has been challenging and highly informative. Made me understand the basics of web development and can't wait to put them into work on the job platform. Thanks to all the good people at Shecodes especially Matt.
Not the kind of learning experience that suited me the best, I ended up reading up on most things on my own from other sources, but of course, an online workshop like this can't suit everyone which is absolutely fine. Just find it lacking in some basic features I think should be able to fit into a 3-week course. But again, that might also be more or less personal preference.
This was a good follow-up to the Basics Workshop and was a good bridge to the next workshop. I enjoyed it, and I felt that the format was easy to follow.
Absolutely enjoying learning more and more of coding, I took a small break due to other things but couldn't wait to get back on and finish my project. Time to start the next and last stage of Shecodes coding lessons.
Excellent primer on how to take one's first steps as a software developer. Matt provides very direct, frank, and practical advice on how to get started in this field. I look forward to continuing to implement all of his suggestions, and growing as a developer.
