Since i am coming from the world of physiotherapy and yoga, this was quite something new for me and challenging, but definitely very inspiring and interesting!

I can't believe that after months and months of coding with SheCodes, I'm finally graduating from React. I started with zero knowledge and now I'm a lot more knowledgeable on the subject and way more confident in my coding skills. This react course was really informative and easy to follow. That was super cool experience of SheCodes Responsive Workshops. Thanks to SheCodes Workshops I became one step closer to my dream of becoming a professional front-end developer! 👩‍💻🤗👍🙌

What a ride!! I cannot believe I have made my own weather app from scratch. During this workshop, I was able to learn more about GitHub, APIs, and how to host websites on Netlify. I also learned advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire SheCodes team for organizing such a well-structured and comprehensive program. The past 6months has been nothing short of remarkable, filled with invaluable learning experiences that have elevated my understanding of HTML,CSS,JS&React to unprecedented heights. I must applaud the brilliant instructor, Matt Declan,the Slack team; Joao, Julie, Paul, Bruno and Vlada(I hope I did not miss anyone out😊) whose passion and expertise were evident in every session. Their dedication to our growth and willingness to go the extra mile in clarifying doubts and encouraging us to push our boundaries made the learning process truly enjoyable. In conclusion, the SheCodes has been a transformative experience for me. I feel equipped to take on new challenges and build on the knowledge I have gathered. Finally ended my porfolio website! Once again was quite challenging, in times I didn't knew what I wanted for the design, what information to put... but in the end I think it's very complete and with a good look at it, anyone can know me a little bit ☺ Thank you, one more time! Just as the last few projects - this one was challenging but so rewarding!

Matt is an amazing teacher, I had zero knowledge about coding but I have learnt a lot in just 3 weeks and can not wait to code more and enhance my skills.

I have always found coding interesting, but I never felt confident/settled enough to sign up for courses. The SheCodes program created a safe space for me to be able learn at my own pace but still be under pressure with the homework deadlines and challenged my abilities in a positive way. It made me realise that this is the path I want to do in the future and Mr Delac's coaching skills created a very relaxed learning environment for me. Thank you very much.

This Add-on workshop is a very useful addition to the Plus workshop. It focuses on using libraries and working with time and dates. As in every other workshop, the explanations are clear and the challenges help you to build knowledge progressively.

SheCodes plus was challenging at first, being a newbie in tech. However with the amazing SheCodes team and Matt Delac, it became fun and interesting. Weldone to the team for doing a great job

What I loved most about the course was the hands-on approach. Each module included practical coding exercises that challenged me and helped solidify my understanding. The projects were well-designed and relevant, making the learning experience enjoyable and rewarding.

I was always interested in coding, but I never had the opportunity to learn. When I found out about SheCodes, I was excited to finally have the chance to learn this valuable skill. An excellent course with many different challenges and assignments. I recommend it to everyone who wants to learn something new and interesting. I recently got hired for a new and exciting role in my school division (I am a teacher) as an Educational Technology Coordinator. A part of my role will also be working with computers and computer science, so I wanted to get a headstart this summer on improving my basic coding skills. From the first webinar, I knew that SheCodes would be a great program fit for me. You can go at your own pace, however, I found it really easy to complete the lessons and homework earlier than anticipated. The entire SheCodes Basics program was so easy to follow - I loved the lessons and Matt is a wonderful teacher who explains things. You can tell he is very passionate about coding and has so much knowledge to share. I learned many practical tips. The homework is challenging, however, with supports like the Slack channel and Athena AI, I had no issues. I've decided that after completing the Basics Program, I am definitely going to continue my SheCodes journey! I cannot wait to continue to learn and grow with this program. This community of women is very inspiring.

I would like to thank Matt and the SheCodes team for the invaluable wisdom that I learned from this boot camp. I'm happy I made the right choice in picking the best program to attend. This course was extremely helpful. Compared to other coding courses I looked at, this one was so much easier to understand because Matt doesn't constantly use all the coding jargon until you really get to grips with it and understand why you're doing it. Definitely do the basics course if you're thinking of checking out coding!

I feel like I learned so much on SheCodes Plus and at the same time feel like I still have so much to learn. Next chapter, here we go!

This workshop helped me enhancing and sharpen my responsive web development skills. Building this website was an enjoyable experience that not only allowed me to create a stunning web page but also gave me the chance to explore diverse topics. It was truly rewarding to see that I can now confidently design responsive websites without relying on Bootstrap. Honestly, I didn't imagine myself in tech a lot, but SheCodes gave me a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I'm sincerely grateful for. I was worried if I'd do well or if it wouldn't be my place at all. However, Instructor Matt with his step-by-step patient instructions helped me out. It wasn't a walk in the park always but seeing my code work got me smiling big! Sometimes I don't have fun in the challenges like he said I would but I'm always happy when everything is going as I want. Nothing beats the feeling! Weeks of patience, hard work, and just dedication it has finally paid out. This platform has definitely made me fall in love with coding even more and is by far the best decision I have ever made. And matt has really been helpful throughout this step-by-step even if sometimes it was baby steps, but in the end, it was worth it.

Very comprehensive basic introduction. Information in bite sizes, challenging but doable, so that you can get through it fast without getting too frustrated or bored. Literally learned basic webpage building in a good 3 days. Very pleased with this!

I was excited to learn how to code because I love design and have had a prior experience on implementation of content in back office,  so I thought this could be a good choice of career. At the beginning I wasn't sure if I was capable of doing it but in these three weeks I feel that I have easily learned the code bases and I’m thinking in taking a more advanced course.

This was a very exciting workshop, quite challenging but the lessons make it so easy for you to understand. Now coding isn't so scary anymore thanks to SheCodes 😃, I'm excited to see what the future brings in this newfound journey.

For the price it was a nice introduction to coding, and very flexible. I have social anxiety, which is why I prefer online classes whenever possible, and SheCodes did not disappoint. I did not reach out to staff or other students because most of all my questions could be answered by SheCodes AI bot, Athena, Google searches, or the SheCodes Resources page. This course was short but it still challenged me A LOT. I will take a small break to take a Procreate course, but afterwards I will be coming back for one of the more extensive workshops SheCodes offers.

Before attending the SheCodes Basics workshop, I thought coding wasn't something for me, that it was for maths geniuses, very difficult and time-consuming but it turned out to be different. I enjoyed learning about HTML, CSS, and javascript and always did a happy dance when I had figured out an error or solved a challenge. Matt was also a super engaging instructor and the technical team helped me a lot despite life happening to me here and there. Thank you very much!

Wow! This project was not easy, but it was worth the time and effort on creating this application. I'm more amazed at what can you create with coding.

I always wanted to learn about programming especially web development and with the opportunity that Shecodes has offered me I have been able to achieve what I have always dreamed of. An exceptional short course focused on crafting sophisticated and responsive websites. With the guidance of the highly skilled instructor, Matt, I found new concepts explained in a way that made them easier to understand. Overall, this course proves to be an excellent addition to the responsive package, and without hesitation, I highly recommend it to everyone.

The most understandable video lectures with step-by-step creation of projects contributed to a fairly easy perception of completely new and unfamiliar things for me. Responsive assistants and a community of students helped to resolve difficulties and issues. The last React workshop had a bit of a struggle, but in the end it worked out. Of course, it still takes a lot of practice for theory to become my skills, but a start has already been made.

React is definitely tough to learn but Matt simplifies things and explains them very well. I am so proud of my React weather app!
