I had started teaching myself to code a few months ago, and while I enjoyed the learning process, I found that I was greatly in need of structure. SheCodes delivered on that front and more. I appreciate that the curriculum gives both easy-to-understand lessons AND points us into the direction necessary to find answers on our own.
I'm so glad I took this workshop. I learned so much in just three weeks and had fun while doing so!
Good for introducing basic concepts.
This part was more challenging. I feel less confident with what I learnt and it seems it's gonna take a lot of time and practice to understand what I'm doing. I would of appreciate more challenges and maybe another project than the weather app already built in vanilla JavaScript.
Learning from sheCodes basics add-on has been extremely beneficial and fun. The challenges and projects helped solidify my understanding of the topics covered in the course thanks to the insrtuctor. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in getting started with coding even if you're a complete beginner like I was.
Needless to say SheCodes's workshop was the best I have ever experienced.
Matt is an awesome teacher, all the courses are fun and understandable and overall I had fun on this journey to becoming a web developer.

With the best support team and instructor by my side was I able to learn and create my own HTML. I was stuck a couple times but was to afraid to approach anyone. When I finally did I was able to step out of my comfort zone and my problems were solved. I learned so much about coding and web development as just a starter.
I love that SheCodes had add-ons to their workshops, it's exciting to have another project to look forward to learning from and creating. I have failed with existing boot camps, courses, etc. but through SheCodes, I am completing one challenge after the next and actually finishing workshops.
Another good project to add to portfolio. Still have a long way to learning better React skills but glad to experience another application to build with it.

An amazing course! I went into it a little bit nervous at all the information I expected I needed to learn and remember, however, Matt explained everything in such a way that it was easy to understand. All the projects were fun to do, especially the final one! Absolutely recommend this course to anyone interested in coding!

Great, systematic workshop teaching the very basics up to advanced coding. I enjoyed the tempo, challenges and I already can see benefits in my understanding of the code in general.
SheCodes has a very good set up and all the lessons are explained so well. It's easy to follow the lessons and the way it is broken down is really helpful. It's amazing how much you can learn in such a short amount of time.

I had no idea that learning something I initially scoffed at would turn out to be so much fun! The structure of the course is perfect for people who enjoy hands-on learning and applying their knowledge right away. I've really enjoyed my journey so far with SheCodes, from the free introductory workshop allowing me to get an idea of what coding actually was, to now completing my basics workshop it's been great. Matt's lessons go through each element so logically that it just makes sense, then having the slack platform to ask questions to other learners and experts, means you are never left in the dark. Can't wait to start the next course!
I am continually learning a lot of skills through SheCodes. The lessons provided are easy to follow and I like that I can consult other resources to deepen my knowledge on the topics taught.
Good first project idea
Learning to code with shecodes has been interesting. This is coding made fun and easy.
At first I was scared to take this coding path , until everything was made easy, I'm proud to say I learnt how to use javascript ,css in html all thanks to Delac Foundation.

I've learned there is a lot more to learn thanks to this training. SheCodesΒ gives me the chance to advance my knowledge in my area of study through coding. This course assisted me in moving closer to my goals as a computer science student. I must appreciate Matthieu for being the best teacher in the end.
Really enjoyed doing this project. I would recommend doing the add-ons as it refreshes your skills and highlights any areas you need to practice. frustrating at times but worth it.

I've enjoyed the SheCodes basics course way more than I expected - so much so that I plan to upgrade to pro! Matt is a great teacher and I love the format of short videos with embedded challenges. It's so much easier to focus and to practise skills straight away rather than watching long videos and trying to remember everything. Would highly recommend.
Once again, I learned so much in just a few weeks! A fantastic course. It left me feeling like I had the tools to continue working in React and build my portfolio. So glad I went for the add-on course!
This was highly challenging for me, but Matt does a fantastic job explaining everything so well. Also, it felt like a support group because Matt would say " I know, I know, React is hard when it's your first time coming across it", so that was comforting. This was a nice and gentle start to my coding journey. Matt made it easy to follow along and it overall wasn't overwhelming.
The final project here is chosen wisely. After creating it I realised how constant practice and learning help in achieving the amazing results. Not long time ago I was surprised when the phrase "Hello, World!" appeared on the white screen after writing it in the HTML. Now, thanks to the SheCodes, I created the personal site-portfolio. Of course, I have a long way to go. There are many things to learn, to master, there will be ups and downs. I realised that programming is not only about the skills, it`s about the mindset. It`s about perseverance, problem solving, steadiness. Programming can be very frustrating, but it is incredibly rewarding too. The She Codes Responsive workshop for me is the stage when it seems like you know a lot, but in reality you discover that there are more and more techniques, which can make the sites more comfortable to use, more user-friendly and responsive. This workshop was an amazing experience! I enjoyed each challenge and the final project was such an enjoyable activity. This course was a great introduction to coding. The workshops were broken down into small sections that helped progress learning just a little bit further each time. The tasks were the perfect balance between achievable and challenging.
I enjoyed the class, overall. It wasn't difficult to keep up with thanks to Matt's great teaching style. Everything was explained very well. I love the Slack feature and how quickly the SheCodes team replies to questions. I wish I got a certification after the course though. I thought it was a certification at the end, but I think it's a certificate of completion. Either way, a lot of great info that opened the door for me to possibly take the tech route. Thank you!
