I recently completed the Basics Add-on workshop and must say it was incredibly educational and insightful. The workshop pushed me out of my comfort zone, but with Mattβs excellent instruction, I was able to grasp the concepts and gain new skills.
Building my SheCodes Add-On project was an experience of deep growth, creativity, and self-trust. This wasnβt just about writing code ,it was about learning to express my vision with clarity, structure, and elegance in the digital space. Through this workshop, I strengthened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but more importantly, I learned how to problem-solve, experiment, and bring ideas to life line by line. I used everything from layout techniques and font styling to hover effects, responsive image grids, and even dark mode toggles. Every challenge I faced taught me something new, not just technically, but personally. My final project, Mirembe Muse, is more than a landing page. Itβs a visual love letter to the values I believe in: natural beauty, ancestral healing, and self-devotion. Watching it come together with code I wrote myself has been incredibly empowering. Iβm walking away from this Add-On experience not only with a finished website Iβm proud of, but with confidence in my growing tech skills. Coding is one of those things that makes you go crazy while doing it because you can make a really tiny mistake, and it could prevent your code from working. However, I really love it because it challenges my mind and gives me something to think about. Enrolling for these coding lessons is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. π
The SheCodes Python Advanced workshop has provided me with a much clearer understanding of Python's potential, particularly in the areas of data visualization and manipulation. The final project was very complex, but still feasible if you follow the teacher's step-by-step guide.

This project is not as easy as it looks. It required a lot of concentration , googling and walking breaks . I really enjoyed it . it really opens your eyes to how complex , the simple applications we use everyday are.Overall this was truly a lot of fun to build , and test out. Plus was a definitley difficult but I'd say that's what made graduating from Plus feel so rewarding. There were so many moments I felt confused but Matt's teachings always clarified the questions I had. Leaning on other resources such as Slack and Athena were a great help too. Overall, I feel very accomplished and I am excited for what's next! :)

Taking this Python AI course has been an eye-opening experience. It was amazing to see how artificial intelligence and APIs can be accessed and integrated to build real, functional applications. Being able to create something interactive that responds with useful information...like weather, travel suggestions, and distances...made the learning process both exciting and rewarding. This project really showed me how powerful Python can be when combined with the right tools.
