I had started my coding journey two years ago, a few months after giving birth to my daughter. My main motivation was starting a lucrative career that would allow me to spend more time with my baby. I have tried many workshops, online courses and bootcamps but none of them compare to SheCodes. SheCodes Basics has made my coding journey so much fun and I have enjoyed learning how to build my very own webpage in just a few days. I am looking forward to continuing my journey and becoming a full-stack developer with the help of Matt and the SheCodes team.

It feels really great to finally complete the SheCodes Basics! I am so grateful to Matt and the SheCodes team. Matt explains things in a way that makes it easy to understand. The SheCodes team were very patient with me. I ended up changing the start dates several times and extending the course week after week due to many challenges. With the many chances they gave me, I knew I did not have any excuse to give up!
The Plus Add-On was a fun way to use what was learned in Plus while building the Weather App in a different way, through a new project, and using different tools. This project will definitely be included in my future portfolio.
Going in, I felt a bit intimidated and felt like I was in over my head. However, I'm glad that it turned out to be the complete opposite. Though some parts of the courses were challenging, I've learned so much. Coding really pushes you to use your problem solving skills and I appreciate that!

Back in 2021, I did already SheCodes Basic and I already found it has ways to learn and goals easy to reach. That is why, now that I am looking for a new professional challenge, I came back to SheCodes for the Bootcamp workshop, in order to improve the skills I have and to learn new ones. Moreover SheCodes has a nice balance between flexibility and deadline and now that I have kids, I really appreciate it.
It is a very good approach to Python, it has helped me a lot and I hope to continue learning with the Advanced course. And of course Matt is an excellent teacher.
My journey took a real turn recently, and I'm so excited to share it! For years, I was flying high (literally!) as an airline employee. I have to admit, SheCodes probably has some of the best workshops I have ever done. The way everything is so interactive and easy to understand makes learning much more fun! The challenges and the way everything is structured out is just perfectπ It has taken my interest in coding to the next level.
It was great to dive deeper into JavaScript and experience what it can do. Small bits of information and repetition really are key to understanding everything. What seemed daunting in the first few weeks were familiar and manageable later on.
