I love coming back here! I got my first SheCodes course right during covid, and i've been getting additional certs and knowledge since. This time I completed the AI add-on for Python as well. It was awesome, Matt's explanation of how this all works is so good and easy to comprehend.

Once again, Matt has made coding and AI very approachable. His instructions and some real-time googling to troubleshoot a solution are consistently clear and easy to follow. The SheCodes Plus Add-on workshop was the perfect next step after learning the basics. Working with HTML input types and select elements gives us more control over user interactions, but the real game-changer was working with JavaScript timing events and date formats. The step-by-step approach from setup to HTML, CSS, and then adding single and multiple locations made what seemed like a complex project feel manageable. The Plus Add-on perfectly bridged the gap between beginner concepts and slightly more advanced development! Building a functional multi-location clock app has been one of my favorite projects. So much fun!!
This course presented interesting projects to demonstrate how the possibilities when it comes to coding using Python with AI are unlimited and really powerful.

Shecodes is a great way to get started in coding. The course breaks various coding languages down into easy to follow lessons that I found easy to fit around work, seeing family & friends etc. I've only completed the basics part so far and have learnt so much. Looking forward to moving onto the next part of the course.

This was not easy, but you get used to it as you go through the steps slowly. IT's challenging but enjoyable.
This was indeed the most difficult course yet! I recommend if you are in the Bootcamp, you take all of python (basic + advanced) concurrently. In other words, don't take a break from Python to do the other advance courses and then come back to it. It will be too confusing and may cause unnecessary stress. I will say this course was very challenging and made clearer what it will take to be a developer - or not! Good luck to everyone completing this course.

The SheCodes Python AI workshop was very fun and easy to follow. It taught me more about prompt engineering and AI APIs, allowing me to explore their potential under the teacher's guidance. The final project was pretty exciting, but not without its challenges.

Moments: Week 1 when I finally understood JavaScript functions. Week 3 when my first API call worked. Week 5 when everything clicked and I was building features I never thought possible. I built World Clock Symphony from the ground upβno frameworks, no teammatesβjust browser-native JavaScript, CSS, and APIs, from the Spotify API to the Shecodes Weather APIβthe result: a real-time, culturally intelligent global time tool designed for distributed teams and financial operators. Every feature was scoped with GTM intentβmarket hour overlays, cultural greetings, weather context, and even Spotify soundtracking. I designed, built, and shipped a full-stack front-end product while treating it like a real GTM motion: messaging, positioning, UX, performance, and differentiation.
The course was clear and well-structured, making it easy to grasp key concepts. I particularly enjoyed learning how to create responsive websites. It strengthened my foundation and deepened my interest in front-end development.

I thought this was a great addition for AI add on, It really helped learn more on how things all work.
Coming from HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python's indentation-based structure felt so different - no more curly braces or semicolons! With JavaScript, I was used to seeing immediate visual changes in the browser, so Python felt more abstract at first. But its readability was amazing, and learning to think about data processing instead of just styling was a complete mental shift.
This was a hectic but fun section, very informative and helps in understanding the use of APIs

I always enjoy the add-on courses because they really help reinforce the concepts. The Plus Add-On course gave me solid practice with select and event functions, as well as using libraries to update data. The world clock project was a great way to practice those skills into action.

Have loved the SheCodes Basic programme. So much so, I have just signed up to complete SheCodes Plus! I am a Content Manager in my day job and looking to branch out to more freelance work. With my content knowledge, now combined with coding, I feel unstoppable! The classes are well-thought out and Matt's videos are easy to follow. I also like that Matt mentions that you might get frustrated and not to worry. I can be a perfectionist and want to be good at something immediately, so Matt's words feel comforting and let me know I don't need to be an expert right away (especially whilst trying to get my head round Javascript!). When the code doesn't work it can be demotivating but nothing beats te feeling of seeing your code run without errors and understanding the language.

This workshop explored AI capabilities and guided us in building a text-generating tool using an AI API. I built on my existing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, learning about Prompt Engineering, JavaScript plugins, CSS manipulation via JS, and UX Design. This workshop helped me really refine my JavaScript skills!

This workshop is really interesting , i had fun coding with my creativity , exploring different types of properties and much more. Some times when there's an issue with my coding, there is always assistance to help and guide, and i really appreciate it . I had a bit of a struggle remembering everything since I took some time off to focus on my exams, but I managed to push through! It turned out to be a lot of fun. The shecodes basics workshop was easy to follow and taught me a lot about CSS, HTML and a little javascript. As a beginner in web development, this workshop made me understand the underlying structure behind all the websites I visit daily. It also taught me how to build some of that structure on my own.
