I enjoyed learning how to create this dictionary app. At times it was challenging. I'm feeling more comfortable with react and how to create in it.

This has been a roller-coaster, but I truly enjoyed the learning. This one was a bit tough for me won't lie but also doable at the same time.

I have had so much fun coding. I can't wait to begin the next class.

Coming this far now I feel more confident about JavaScript even though I know I'm at very early stages of learning. I hope with the help of SheCodes I'll be able to master it in long run and develop something that I could be proud of.

After completing SheCodes Basics, I was excited to go a step further—and the add-on did not disappoint! It gave me hands-on experience with more challenging coding tasks that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I learned how to build interactive web features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. What I appreciated most was how the lessons were broken down into manageable videos, and the projects allowed me to apply what I’d learned immediately. Before SheCodes, I never imagined I’d be able to understand code, let alone write it confidently

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Responsive Advanced course! Matt explained everything clearly, making the concepts easy to follow. I feel more confident now and can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned by building more responsive applications and picking up new tips from other sources along the way!

Learning how to use grid layouts, animations, element manipulation, and theme switching has completely transformed the way I approach web design. Grids gave me the structure I needed to make clean, responsive layouts, while animations added life and interactivity to my pages. Being able to manipulate elements dynamically helped me create engaging user experiences, and theme changes gave my projects a professional, modern touch. These skills have boosted both my creativity and confidence as a developer.

This was another very useful and enjoyable course from SheCodes! I've gained more advanced Python skills, including manipulating and plotting data in various graph formats, understanding object-oriented programming (OOP) to create different custom classes, and effectively reading from and writing to files.

Good step by step instructions, and a helpful community, makes even the hardest challenges easy to overcome.

Great for absolute beginners. I have learned some great skills here that will help me further my own learning. Would be nice if the projects had some feedback though and not just 'it passes'. That would help with knowing what to do better etc.

Another workshop completed with SheCodes! I loved every minutes of it and learning about how to make your website more interactive. I can't wait to learn more! 🙌

This was fun! What puzzles me is just how Matt explains everything so clearly making it easy for one to follow and grasp each concept. There were challenges however, after completing each task you enter a new horizon of coding with even more exciting things to learn. Thank you to the SheCodes team for creating a space where women are given the opportunity to thrive in the tech industry.

I found the SheCodes basic add-on to be very helpful, and it has given me a lot of insight when it comes to the CSS styling.

I found Python basics relatively logical after my initial struggle with JavaScript. It's really nice to be able to spot the parallels between the two coding languages. Thanks to the patient breakdown of Pythons key words and functions from Matt, I think I've got a solid basis to build on now. Excited to see what else can be done with Python!

So much to learn and so exciting! This course really makes one curious about learning more and more python.

Attending this basics add-on workshop was a game-changer for me. The sessions on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were incredibly clear, practical, and still beginner-friendly. I loved how the instructor broke down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and that we got to build real projects along the way. By the end of the workshop, I could confidently create responsive web pages and add interactive features using JavaScript. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone eager to dive into web development!

Absolutely enjoyed this introduction to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The videos broke down the steps of each task/skill in a way that was easy to follow. I also liked having the visual examples of the within the lesson, so you could just copy and paste it. I also very much appreciated having the demos in the lesson to compare with my attempts. The way this workshop is set up, you have multiple tools and your disposal, which made it easy to grasp the concepts.

Working with JavaScript and Moment.js has significantly improved my ability to create dynamic, real-time applications. I gained hands-on experience with DOM manipulation, time formatting, and handling time zones across different regions. Using moment-timezone, I learned how to detect the user’s local time zone and update the interface in real time using setInterval. This experience strengthened my understanding of working with external libraries and writing clean, interactive, and responsive JavaScript code.

This took some time but thanks to SheCodes patience it all worked out.

The SheCodes Responsive workshop has been my favorite workshop so far. Using all the skills I’ve learned to create my portfolio website in the final project was a huge accomplishment that makes me feel even more confident to transition into the tech world. I can’t wait to see what I build next, and I’m so excited about what’s ahead.

Dealing with AI through the front end is one thing, and dealing with AI through the back end is similar, but different... It's interesting to see how much we can do from a terminal! My creative/visual side really enjoyed the possibilities that libraries such as Rich and Markdown offer when we want to display information in a personalized way. It was challenging, but worth it.

SheCodes Basics Add-on has been so much fun! A huge thank you the SheCodes team for being there when I had questions🥰! With the addition of new concepts such as grids, CSS transform, and class manipulation, Add-on has been a great addition to my coding journey. One of the most valuable things I’ve learnt is how to improve the consistency of styling via the use of fraction units within grids to ensure that images displayed in a grid are of the same size and take up the same space. Being able to utilise the information that has been taught throughout the course within the Final Project has been a great way to apply my knowledge and learn how to rectify coding errors.

As someone completely new to coding, joining SheCodes has been an eye-opening and empowering experience. I’ve had the chance to explore HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—and to actually build something real and personal, like my own photography-themed webpage! From struggling with syntax to styling layouts and writing interactive JavaScript, I’ve learned how much fun (and rewarding) coding can be. This coding workshop came at a time when I was questioning everything especially whether I wanted to continue pursuing a career in psychology. The path forward felt almost impossible without a master’s degree, and I knew I needed to find something that lit a spark again. That’s when I chose to develop a new skill and explore the world of UX/UI design and this workshop was the perfect way to begin. I never imagined how deeply satisfying it would be to build something from scratch. I’m beyond impressed by what determination, perseverance and the right support can lead to. Really interesting start to using AI that finished with creating a project using all the knowledge from the plus workshop which was great practise and I finally felt like I really got the hang of javascript! Looking forward to learning more!!
