I took me quick a long time to complete this workshop. When i focus and had a goal to finish this workshop I really enjoyed it. Building the final App was difficult but with the help of the instructor it was so much easier. Being able to go back to videos to help me when i was stuck was so helpful. I really enjoyed working with real-time data and just seeing how different the app looked and worked with every video I completed was amazing.

SheCodes is a great introduction to coding. I was able to learn quickly thanks to the super digestible videos and exercises throughout the course.

Through this workshop, I have learnt some basic Python skills, such as setting functions, extracting data from lists/dictionaries, extracting dates from timestamps, and adding APIs.

Learning CSS was extremely daunting until I took this course through SheCodes. I love learning how to design my own website and create my own themes to my liking.

Making a portfolio website was something I always wanted to do, but felt overwhelmed when thinking about where to start. The guidance was very helpful.

This was a very interesting course. With the growing interest in AI, it was eye-opening to know how AI works and how to integerate it into websites. This opens up so many avenues to what I now can create.. the possibilities are endless

I've been working in Software development for the past 15 years as a Business Analyst / Product Manager and I've always wanted to learn how to code but I never knew where to start. Thoroughly enjoyed learning the basics of coding. This course gave me an understanding of the basics required for any page to work correctly. The homework's and end project were fun to do and develop improving each time.

Before starting SheCodes, I had zero knowledge of coding. The course was perfect for me because I could learn at my own pace—whether that meant a slow and delayed start or speeding up when my life allowed. By the end of the course, I was able to code a webpage using the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I would absolutely recommend SheCodes to other women. It creates the same comfortable, empowering environment as a "females only" gym. You never have to worry about feeling "less than" or uncomfortable when asking for help—it's a supportive space where you can learn without judgment.

Another great mini project on the Advanced Python add-on course! It was easy to follow Matt's guidance even when I felt stuck sometimes.

At first, I thought that the course would be overwhelmingly challenging, to the point that I considered quitting the course. However, I found the lessons more detailed and easy to understand.

It's fun and great to do it in my own speed.

I would definitely recommend this course. Starting with absolutely no experience in coding I was nervous at taking on this course, but wanted to take on a professional development challenge. I was happy I did! This course breaks down the course content step-by-step which has allowed me to follow along, learn and gain confidence in my abilities to understand concepts and build a landing page. I love the videos where Matt takes us through each lesson! I can re-watch and follow along at my own pace. Challenges are achievable and solutions are helpful for reinforcing learning. Working on my 'AI Daily Challenge Generator' project has been an amazing experience. I wanted to build something that not only pushed my coding skills but also helped others stay motivated to learn new things every day. Integrating the AI API wasn’t easy, but I have learned so much along the way and it really stretched my problem-solving skills. Through this AI generator project, I explored AI tools, strengthened my coding abilities, and learned how to turn a simple idea into a functional project. I’m really proud of what I was able to create with the step-by-step instructions of the wonderful teacher Matt Delac and I'm very excited that others can now use my daily challenge generator to get inspired too!

SheCodes Responsive Add-on Workshop was a great experience! I learned how to create flexible, responsive layouts using CSS grids and how to structure content effectively with HTML tables. The lessons were clear, hands-on, and easy to follow. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their web design skills!

I learned a lot during this workshop. The final project that you slowly work towards completing is a lot of fun and very engaging. The step by step process makes it easy to pick things up as you learn more and build on existing skills. Everything is so well organized, it's very easy to go back to find anything you need to review again.

I find the work really challenging but also fun. The hours go by so quickly when I’m coding and trying to debug my code. Sometimes I spend one hour searching, only to discover that a tiny bracket was missing, which meant my line of code wasn’t closed properly and the whole program was broken: nothing was happening. Coding definitely requires patience and an eye for detail. I enjoyed this workshop because we built the clock step by step, and it also reinforced techniques we had used in previous workshops.

Matt does a fantastic job walking students step-by-step through the code and explaining what each step means so you're not just building, you're understanding at a granular level why and what you're doing and how it all comes together.

I have learnt a lot in the course of two weeks, and I have grown both confidence and skill. I love the teaching approach of making sure we become resourceful by engaging on Slack and the internet. I have found many communities dedicated to coders, which have allowed me to push myself past the required because others have had questions that I have, and so many different approaches have been provided.

This was not an easy class, but I still had so much fun.
