I am Goitse, a young girl from a small town called Thabazimbi in Limpopo, and I am grateful for enrolling with SheCodes. I have learned a lot even though I was inconsistent, but with the time I took, I have equipped myself with a whole lot of learning experience and enhanced my knowledge from what I have been learning. I thank this programme for ever being introduced to me, and I am willing to learn more with upcoming programmes.

SheCodes basics add-on helped me deepen my knowledge of CSS and helped me finetune my knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.

I would rather recommend cheaper or free resources to a friend that are just as good. SheCodes was the first thing to learn coding I stumbled across and I am thankful for the experience. Nevertheless I will continue learning with other material now. In my opinion, it is way too expensive for what you get. Still: it is well explained and well structured!

This has been the perfect first step to make me curious about coding! I can't wait to learn more.

Really enjoyed this session, it was difficult with the various time zones but was really fun.

Definitely felt challenged in the Advanced Python course but was really intrigued by the possibilities and what we were able to accomplish with coding.

I have some previous experience coding with AI. This was a fun exercise.

I hadn’t coded in 2–3 years because life got busy, and I honestly wasn’t sure if I could get back into it. Restarting with SheCodes was the best decision I could have made. I began by revisiting the basics, completed the add-ons, and now I’m back in the Plus workshop — picking up where I left off at 65%. What’s incredible is that it doesn’t feel overwhelming at all. Matt Delac explains concepts so clearly and in such a structured way that it truly feels like I never left coding. One of the coolest parts has been the add-ons. Learning how to recreate features you see on big websites — and actually building them myself — has been such an empowering experience. Implementing things like theme-changing elements, adding grids, and making projects feel more dynamic and professional has been really exciting. I’m genuinely grateful for the knowledge and confidence I’ve gained. SheCodes made coming back to coding feel possible, practical, and fun again.

Very dynamic and easy to understand - great introductory course!

I learned how to make a website, which is exactly what I was hoping for!

It was a great learning experience and challenge that helped me understand how to build clean, structured, and mobile-friendly websites. Even though I might be fully remaking the whole structure of the project later :D. The lessons were clear, practical, and easy to follow, and the hands-on projects really helped me apply everything step by step. I really have to mention, that I faced a very important challenge — and a valuable lesson — the importance of creating the correct logical HTML markup for all pages before jumping into the design stage. Proper structure from the beginning makes the entire workflow smoother and prevents a lot of issues later when adding styling or making the layout responsive. Overall, the course strengthened my confidence in building responsive websites and improved the way I approach web development.

The responsive course was the cherry on top of the SheCodes workshops! I was finally able to ensure that the pages that I am coding are responsive and able to be viewed well on any type of device.

The add on workshop was challenging but mostly exciting.

I recently completed the SheCodes React class and it has been an incredibly valuable learning experience. The course structure is clear, supportive, and beginner-friendly, making complex React concepts easy to understand. Throughout the class, I gained confidence in writing cleaner, more efficient React code, and I was able to apply what I learned directly to projects like a 5-day weather forecast app. The hands-on exercises and real coding tasks helped solidify my understanding, and the community support was always encouraging and helpful. We learned SOOOO much in this course, and I truly loved every moment of it!

Finally found a coding course that makes sense! I’ve experimented with other platforms before, but this is by far the most beginner-friendly and well-structured one I've taken. If you’ve struggled to 'get' coding in the past, I highly recommend giving this a try—it’s much easier to follow than anything else I’ve used.

This class was a lot of fun in that there was opportunity to try different colors, grid styles and transformations. After this workshop, I now see how some websites function. I will never look at a website or even the details/designs on my iphone the same.

Loved this! I honestly can't rate the support features provided by the SheCodes team highly enough! I used the Athena AI for the first time when I ran into some difficulty importing a package to my HTML for Javascript and it helped me resolve the issue within about 10 minutes. These courses really are so well paced. Suitably challenging but feels accessible at the same time. The endless resources provided also help enormously!

Working on this project helped me understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a more practical way. I learnt how to structure a webpage, style it creatively, and add simple interactivity. I am grateful for the learning experience and excited to continue growing my coding skills and exploring more in web development.

Participating in this SheCodes workshop was an exciting and rewarding experience. During the workshop, I worked hands-on with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while building a fully functional weather application. I learned how to design layouts, style pages, and add interactive features, as well as fetch and display real-time data from an external API. Working on this project helped me understand how different parts of a web application work together and how to organize my code in a clear and effective way. The workshop challenged me in a positive way and encouraged me to experiment with my code, solve problems systematically, and learn from mistakes without hesitation. Seeing the results of my work come to life was incredibly motivating and gave me a strong sense of achievement. Overall, this workshop strengthened my coding skills, boosted my confidence, and inspired me to continue exploring web development. I am excited to keep learning and applying these skills to new projects in the future.

It has been so, so satisfying pulling together all of the skills learned from previous SheCodes courses in order to produce even more adventurous and advanced projects. I feel as though all of the courses are very well paced, so you feel a little challenged along the way but not completely out of your depth! I've truly been really enjoying this experience. Collecting the certificates of the Bootcamp course has felt as addictively satisfying as collecting Pokémon! "Gotta catch 'em all!" 😂

Taking this course was a great experience. Python, which I thought would be complicated, suddenly made sense. The course is fun, interactive, and very beginner friendly, giving me a solid foundation to continue learning and building with Python.

A Very good workshop, loved learning more about AI

This project challenged me in the best way possible. Building a fully responsive travel webpage with a hero section, cards, grids, embeds, and CSS filters helped me strengthen both my layout and styling skills. I learned how important structure, responsiveness, and clean code are when designing for multiple devices. It wasn’t always easy, but seeing the final result come together across mobile, tablet, and desktop screens made the challenge truly worth it.

This Python with AI course delivered a high-quality, hands-on approach to integrating AI with coding. The practical and step-by-step exercises were easy to follow and understand. The course unlocked endless possibilities for my future projects.

I didn’t just learn what to code. I learned how to think through problems, break things down, and stay patient with myself when things felt overwhelming. There were moments of confusion, frustration, and “wait… why isn’t this working?” but every challenge pushed me to understand JavaScript and logic more deeply. What I loved most is that it didn’t spoon-feed answers. It encouraged real understanding, curiosity, and growth. By the end, things that once felt scary started to click, and that confidence shift is priceless. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I genuinely feel more prepared and excited to keep building. This workshop didn’t just teach me skills. It strengthened my mindset as a developer.

I found this exercise really enjoyable to work through. It was straightforward to complete after finishing work on Friday, and I liked being able to come back to it over the weekend to polish everything. The mix of HTML, CSS and a bit of JavaScript felt manageable, and it was satisfying to see the page come together piece by piece.

I found the lessons easy to follow and they straight to the point. The programme is well structured. Outside of the lessons I found that the programme encouraged me to take my own learning into my own hands as the weekly homeworks we received required for me to perform addtional research.

Before SheCodes, coding felt intimidating. Now it feels exciting and achievable. The lessons are clear, hands-on, and motivating, and I’m proud of what I’ve learnt so far
