I enjoy it a lot. Very simplistic and a little underwhelming compared to the web development lessons, but laid down the bases for a good understanding of Python, which I hope to keep building.
The more I learn with SheCodes the happier I am that I started. It's challenging sometimes, but Matt shows you that even he is still learning and the team on Slack has helped me every time I had an issue or ran into a wall. Very happy to continue on this learning journey!

It was really fun building the World Clock project for the Plus Add-On. It would have been cool to learn how to have a search bar that includes all time zones within the Moment library. I design websites as a freelancer and mostly use CMS like WP. You can do a lot with it, but coding websites myself helps me to understand all the details and how everything fits together.
Learning to code can sometimes feel really inaccessible but this course made it possible to learn so comprehensively with a fantastic teacher in Matt. He made it interesting and super fun. It's also incredibly empowering as a skill for women especially given the increasing digitalisation of the working world.

Although the Basics Add-On website forced me to think creatively and outside the box and pushed me beyond my comfort zone, I am thankful for the opportunity to learn and practice more CSS and JavaScript selectors. I'm gradually becoming more at ease with writing code, but I still have more to learn and practice.
The React Workshop was definitely challenging to complete, but I did it. There were many moments of struggle but thanks to Matt who explained everything to understand the steps better, even if I had to rewatch videos again for clearer understanding. He surely taught me a lot, which I am pleased and thankful about. Working on the project was interesting especially while implementing more advanced things into it on the way. There are still lots of things to get to know but now I am more than ready for it.πππ
