The responsive add-on workshop was a really fun project. It was fun to be able to use what I have learned and also to go back to using only CSS and basic HTLM and still get a great result.
Very easy to understand (different from other courses I took before). The lessons are at a good level of difficulty and make you actually learn what's being taught.
I used to think Front-End Development was dauntingβturns out, it just needed a SheCodes Workshop to show it whoβs boss! This was probably one of the most challenging workshops to date. I still find React a bit intimidating, but the way Matt explained even the more complex concepts in a very understandable way. I already can't wait to get started with the next workshop!

I am so happy I finally completed this workshop, mainly because I was busy with it while also writing my university final exams but thanks to the shecodes team I was able to have an extension and have time to finish my exam without deadline pressures. Matt is a good mentor and I love that the team communicates everything with the students.

I just completed the Python Advanced course with SheCodes and I am so impressed with how much Iβve learned! I have found the initial phase of my coding experience with the SheCoding Foundation for Women to be both extremely rewarding and challenging. I was forced to step outside of my comfort zone, but the experience also gave me useful skills and increased my confidence in my ability to code. I'm happy to have accomplished this goal and am looking forward to getting my certificate for finishing the foundational coding course. This experience has motivated me to keep learning and developing in the computer industry, and I am appreciative of the SheCoding Foundation for giving women in coding such a positive environment.

My skills include: Writing clean and efficient code in Python Understanding data types, variables, and control structures (if, loops, etc.) Basic file handling and working with text files Functions and modular programming for better code organization Problem-solving and debugging techniques I am enthusiastic about building on these skills and exploring more advanced programming concepts in Python

This was a tough year for me. I had a serious injury and struggled to find employment. Although I finished my MFA in Creative Writing, despite my injury, I couldn't find a job that would pay me a living wage. I started thinking that I needed to do something else. I did not expect to enjoy coding as much as I do. I thought it was going to be this job that I could learn and slog through. After three weeks, I am a bit obsessed. Don't get me wrong, it is a challenge. Sometimes I stare at a bit of code for 20 minutes and say "why won't you work?" But when I solve that puzzle, refresh the page, and everything works like it's supposed to, it gives me such a feeling of accomplishment. I was a little nervous because I am not a maths person, and I can barely draw a stick figure, but it turns out that a little imagination goes a long way. There were a lot of course options I could have chosen from. I went with SheCodes because I saw that I would get trained in a lot of different programming languages. It also was flexible and I was able to start right away. I'm signed up for the Plus, but I'm already planning on upgrading to the bootcamp when I'm done.
I've gained so much from the She Codes program! Before starting, I lacked confidence in coding with JavaScript, but now Iβm amazed at how far Iβve come. I can create some really cool functionalities, all thanks to She Codes. Matt has a fantastic way of making learning both easy and enjoyable, and I love how he incorporates plenty of challenges to keep things engaging. A huge thank you to She Codes and their incredible team! Itβs become one of my favorite learning platforms, and Iβd highly recommend it to anyone interested in coding.

The Delac Foundation Program has taught me so much, it was amazing getting to learn and practice new skills hands-on all at the same time.
