I completed the basics add-on workshop and I enjoyed the course. Matt, our instructor, gave clear explanations and he made the lessons easy to understand. It took me a while to finish my project but with the help of Team SheCodes, I was able to complete the task on time.

This 3-week course is a great introduction to those who are interested in not only pursuing a career in tech, but also just learning/touching up on basic coding. Matt's learning modules and videos are simple and easy to understand. Although there are deadlines, it feels that you can go at your own pace with each week's lessons. Would highly recommend!

Wow! This was amazing. Matt is a really good teacher. I loved how all the lessons were broken up in to smaller pieces. It made it less overwhelming and felt like I was flying through it. Before I began I was worried I would get frustrated and quit but that never happened. Instead, I am addicted and want to learn more! This dictionary project was built using React, and it is one of my favorite projects. I had the opportunity to practice creating effective components, functions, and sending properties between them to improve my application. I integrated two APIs in this project: the SheCodes dictionary API and an images API. I practiced using loops and the map method to pull and display precise data from the APIs. I worked in depth on styling the responses from the APIs to create different sections for my dictionary and to ensure the images fit the screen. I enjoyed this workshop.
It was a challenging workshop but I really enjoyed it. Matt knows how to share his knowledge and made complex topics easy to grasp I highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking to enhance their front-end skills!

I was looking for a course to boost my career and I found SheCodes. I am very satisfied of what I have learned until now and I can't wait to start the new module.
It took me sometime to finish the basic course but - I did it! πͺ The first week was a little hard for me to follow, which make sense because this is my first ever coding class but as I build more stuff and get acquainted with it, I started to really enjoy it! My favorite is java script because it took sometime for me for things to "click" with CSS and when it did it made a lot of sense. Doing the challenges, home works and final project really helped a lot because actually seeing the result of your work feels good and helps you get more motivated. I absolutely love this course, I was able to pace it at the right time specially I am a SAHM, and it can be extremely challenging to make time. Thank you SheCodes team for your patience with me!
