After I graduated from university, I felt like I was missing the skills needed to be able to reach the goals I wanted. SheCodes helped me fill in those gaps to allow me to be self-employed and help bridge the digital gap in women's sports.
I'm a digital designer and I've been trying to learn Javascript for a long time. No course has been as clear and practical as the SheCodes Plus. I've manage to replicate the features I learned in the lessons plus get a better understanding of the language to be able to create and add my own.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone

Great introduction into the world of coding! Always thought coding is hard but turns out if you have a great class to follow it is much easier than expected. The introduction course was well designed and I will continue with my coding journey.

SheCodes has been an amazing experience for me. I have gained so much knowledge of something that I thought I'd never do because it was too "difficult". The way Matt explains every lesson is amazing, he's very close and you feel comfortable even when you feel like you can't do it, he makes it look simple! I cannot wait to get to my next workshop.
All I can say is WOW. I came into SheCodes with a little bit under my belt when it came to coding. So I was a little nervous and didnβt know what to expect out of this or out of me. But I jumped right in and everything came naturally. It made me feel like I belong. Like this is my purpose. Itβs the best feeling. A feeling I couldnβt really explain. But Iβm glad I choose SheCodes because it gave me my confidence and knowledge.
I wanted to start learning coding, but couldn't find a workshop that seemed intuitive to follow and fun at the same time, until I found SheCodes. SheCodes had me having fun while learning. I learned a lot :)
I joined the SheCodes Basic workshop partly for fun, but also to learn some new skills in an effort to future proof my career. I felt a little nervous when it was due to start - would I be able to keep up? Was it going to be too complex? Would I just end up finding it boring? I didn't need to worry, as I found that the short and sharp videos from Matt were the perfect length to teach the fundamentals without being overwhelming, and I ended up really enjoying the challenges and project. I would often find myself losing track of time because I was so engrossed in what I was doing. I'm going on to SheCodes Plus shortly and really looking forward to seeing where my newfound basic skills will take me!
As a complete beginner I learned a lot with the easy to follow videos and assignments!

This was a fun and hands-on course. It is very easy to follow and a fun learning experience that does not take a lot of time!
React was a challenge compared to the rest of the workshop but then it gives you the insight of how real life is going to be. I had abit of a time trying to debug my apps and as Matt say the smallest thing was enough to set it off. Regardless, when everything works the feeling of accomplished was amazing.
I made it! πͺ SheCodes Plus enabled me to develop a great weather app and while learning new complicated notions in the process (Matt is really a great teacher and manages to explain the most difficult things with simple words). Plus is definitely more challenging than Basics but it's worth it! π₯ Thanks to SheCodes, I got a really good overview of the coding world π©βπ». The journey is only beginning β¨
While taking this course i learned things that I was not able to learn while in school, the lessons are easy to follow, and Matt is an awesome instructor.
I think as an initial introduction into coding it was very comprehensive and matt's style of teaching is easy to follow and create from.
The final project was challenging but very rewarding. I learned a lot!
At first, I was intimidated by coding. Though I had little prior experience, Matt Delac explained everything very clearly. By the end of the course, I was able to make a webpage that I was proud of!
I'm a 9 years old girl and sometimes I need more outside research , but over all I'm learning allot.
I always thought that I would never be able to understand any programming language in my life but with Matt everything seems easier! We learn in a practical and fun way. I loved the final project!
This course was amazing! I learned a lot about how to make web pages responsive & SEO friendly, which is going to be very helpful in the future. The lessons are easy to follow along with, and I now have a portfolio that I can continue to update when I have more SheCodes projects!

SheCodes Plus was full of challenges but I loved every and each of them cuz I learnt a lot from it and I enjoyed this workshop. The videos were so well-organized and Matt's teaching was so good and easy to follow.
At first I looked at coding to be very intimidating to even try. Now, after a few weeks I was able to create a page. This is only the beginning. I am so excited to see where I will go from here.

Amazing hands-on training. Because they teach you how to test and visualize your code it is fun to play around while learning. Would not recommend just this workshop but the whole package > Shecodes PLUS.
SheCodes is an amazing coding workshop, with each lesson structured in a precise and concise manner. Matt's way of explaining each element is commendable!
I originally enrolled on a University course and I immediately hated it. I have to say that SheCodes has been VERY enjoyable, the concepts are easy to understand and applicable, the assignments make sense and it is actually a lot of fun!
As a beginner the SheCodes workshop was an amazing way to get started in coding. I knew nothing about coding before I started and I'm surprised at how much I was able to learn in such a short time, thanks to Matt and the rest of the team! SheCodesPlus was an exciting journey of taking my coding skills to the next level. Matt is a great instructor, always making sure that even the most challenging parts are clear and understandable. Like in the Basic course, the videos are well structured and have the perfect length to then start implementing the knowledge in the challenges. Step by step I was working towards my final project, which is already an impressive progress, considering that I started from scratch 11 weeks ago. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to dive deeper into advanced JavaScript, HTML and CSS!
I am honestly satisfied with this course since I had tried to learn coding before knowing about the SheCodes, but just I got confused and scared of huge data out there. I appreciate this well-organized curriculum which gave me the confidence to be able to follow this path.

I enrolled in the Basic SheCodes course as one of the first steps in my transition from financier to IT. The course turned out to be another confirmation that expanding knowledge in this direction is a good decision. The course was very interesting. Short videos ending with tasks allow me to see rapid learning progress, even for first-time βweb developers :)β. However, for me, the greatest added value was learning to search the Internet for additional information about HTML, CSS, or Javascript. It will allow me to easily and enjoyably improve my knowledge, even after the course.
Clarified HTML/CSS
Programming was always kinda in the back of my head. I has started one years before SheCode and once I did, I have learn a lot about coding,the course is fast and you will learn a lot. SheCodes impressed me. Being able to understand those infinite lines of code. Coding was something I knew I wanted to be able to know.
Overall, I think that this course it was very helpful to refresh my knowledge.
I really appreciate the way which the topics are explained, it doesn't take much time and the time invested is very rewarding.
It is easy to learn and everyday I feel I am learning new things. I am doing projects which I never thought I could do before.

The videos set the stage and the challenges push you to build beyond what is shown in the videos (in a good way).

SheCodes helped me a lot to brush up my deteriorating HTML, CSS and JSS skills. I really liked that the videos are short but include a challenge which is really good to get your hands-on. Especially for me because I'm quite impatient, don't learn well from videos and want to get started right away, the course structure was very helpful for me. It was a great experience and a good balance between flexibility and sticking to the schedule. I'll do all workshops at SheCodes because I want to become better in Front-End Development and I would recommend the Basics workshop for everyone, no matter if you already know some basics or just want to figure out whether it's something for you or not. As always learning with SheCodes is simply fun! The videos and challenges are perfectly divided into manageable bits and the course material is so nicely structured, clear and straightforward. Matt is very good in explaining the topics and the team helping via Slack is just doing a fantastic job. What makes this so enjoyable is that you can move forward at your own pace while still feeling perfectly guided. It's so great to see the progress when building towards a final project and being able to shape your own ideas with CSS and Bootstrap in this course!
I absolutely loved it! I particularly loved the teaching style and how complex topics were broken down into bite-sized pieces. That helped me to understand the logic, which is so important. I also loved all the resources available - from cheatsheets to real-life people ready to help out on slack. Can't wait to sign up for the next workshop π
