It was a great experience. The workshop schedule is very flexible but I found that once you start coding it's almost addictive and you can't stop until you've done all your challenges :). It was great to have this introduction to coding and realise that it can be understandable, accessible and quite fun!

I am an astrophysics major with a tremendous love of technology and science. I have a marketing, sales, management, and customer relations background. I am a passionate and driven individual that gets excited about new knowledge and information.
It was so much fun! The teacher is great at explaining and makes it look easy wich make learning coding a great new experience. The little exercises were a great way to consolidate everything that was learned on that lesson. Overall opinion, 5 stars!

Yet an other great course, I very much enjoyed learning how to use API and how powerful it can be in a project such as a weather app. Thankful to the SheCodes community and the team because I never thought I could do this 3 months ago.
This course was a lot of work and quite challenging at times, but very rewarding in the end. I've learned a lot over the last 12 weeks and am looking forward to continuing my coding journey.
I really enjoyed this introductory course to coding by SheCodes! As someone without any prior knowledge of how coding works, I appreciate how Matt makes the content very accessible through bite-sized videos and challenges at the end of each lesson for us to apply the skills we learnt.

SheCodes Basics Workshop is a great way to get started with coding: tuition for The Basics is a great value, participants' assignments are reviewed by humans and, with Slack, there's quick help with questions. I like Matt's calm, easy manner. He shows learners that coding is something most everyone can learn and reminds us that nothing we do in coding class will cause our computer to explode π©βπ»--useful advice if you're new to code!
SheCodes makes learning about coding in a direct and fun way. Everything was straight to the point and the exercises were a direct reflection of the material learned.
The course has been amazing! It's organized in a way that's very easy to follow, even for complete beginners. I also really like the fact how Matt encourages you to explore things on your own even if they are not explicitly discussed in the initial tutorials. That gives us more opportunities to explore on our own, and it has helped me grow even more.
I love SheCodes! It was so easy to follow all of the challenges and I learned so much. I can't wait to continue my SheCodes journey.

I was hesitant to dive into coding because I had the idea that it required a lot of math and a background in computer science. With SheCodes I learned that this was not the case. Anyone can learn to code! With the SheCodes simple and to the point courses and Matt's teaching it was very accessible. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone wanting to learn to code.

I really enjoyed taking these courses. I learned some things that I didn't know in regard to CSS and Javascript. I actually had a hard time learning JavaScript in the past, and have had a much easier time learning with SheCodes. I appreciate that things are broken down well enough for a beginner to grasp these concepts. I look forward to the rest taking more courses with SheCodes!

It was a whole new experience for me.
This course was really challenging but I got a really cool insight of what is coming. This course introduced me to advanced Javascript, and the endless of possibilities when coding. For me this is very motivating to continue to study, because I want to be able to do this things on my own one day. βοΈ
It was great fun to dive into the world of coding. The mix of very simple explanations and challenging tasks motivate you to keep at it. This introduction was great and I might want to learn more soon.

This is a fantastic course! The content is laid out really well and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenges at the end of the lessons. Matt is very easy to understand and is very succinct yet thorough in his teachings. I was never interested in coding because I thought it was really boring and difficult to understand but becuase of Matt's course, I REALLY enjoyed it and actually had to set reminders to work on my other work projects as I found myself really engrossed in the creation process. In just 10 days I went from knowing nothing about coding to creating a landing page! I look forward to the next course, SheCodes Plus and building off what I know now to make my work even better! I highly, highly recommend!
My first fully functional Weather app! SheCodes Plus has been very challenging in terms of JS and API integration and also with managing my time. I am so pleased finally I have completed it. Getting familiar with a new skill and being able to articulate myself through code felt very empowering. After diving into the basics and taking on fun coding challenges, I was able to move onto more advanced projects which prepared me for the next chapter of my coding journey. I had never considered coding as a hobby or career option - now I can see both in my future! Thanks to SheCodes, I feel more confident to keep learning and start developing my own tech projects.

SheCodes is the best option to learn in my opinion. Before this workshop, I was shy to participate in this kind of training. Now I know that with dedication and adequate support, it's possible. The structure of the training is great and you get involved, is not only online training, because you have deadlines but also support, and you feel integrated into a group. The good feeling I got from SheCodes is indescribable. Getting to know the Delac Foundation and participating in the foundation's courses has been one of the best events of my life. The SheCodes coding course is excellent and unique. I liked coding and always wanted to learn it. This course is so great that I fell in love with coding. I can say that this course is the best course I have ever taken in various fields. It is very regular, principled, and most importantly, project-oriented. The way Matt teaches is excellent and enjoyable. I am thrilled that I had the chance to participate in this fantastic course. Not only did I learn coding best with SheCodes, but I also learned to have higher a stronger spirit and try harder with higher confidence.

SheCodes has been a great experience! I signed up for the Pro course, so I have a ways to go for my learning experience, but I'm excited. It feels good taking up coding again as an adult learner. The basics course was set to a good pace, and Matt explained things in a way I could understand.
This was an amazing opportunity to learn a new skill. At first I thought coding would be almost impossible but after watching the videos, doing challenges, and the homeworks; I realized it is not as impossible as I thought it would be. The video explanations and the Slack channel made it so easy to learn (faster than I thought I was capable of).

I highly recommend this workshop if you want to start building your own web app! Through the video tutorials, I learned so much and gained more advanced coding skills. Going beyond the final project instructions, I applied my drawing skills to design the weather icons! Looking at my work encourages me to make more personal projects in the future. I look forward to SheCodes React.
The lessons were packed in very digestable bites, I could definetly see a steep learning curve and was pretty motivated by small successes. I had tought myself some of this knowledge already from online sources but it was good for me to have it explained properly and in it's entirety again. All in all it was really fun to do.
Each lesson was easy to follow and understand. I loved the hands on exercises that built upon each other. By the end of each week, I actually could figure out the homework because of how the class taught each element. I already want to sign up for the more advanced class to expand my new coding knowledge! Thank you for this workshop. :)
βWhen I was in college pursuing my Bachelors degree in print journalism with a minor in creative writing, I had come across coding and found it very interesting. Once I graduated in 2013, life got in the way specifically breathing (chronic asthmatic) I never got the chance to pursue coding more until now. My breathing is better and once I came across SheCodes I knew this was the place for me. I am excited for this new journey and for the knowledge to come!β

I chose SheCodes because I wanted something that was flexible enough to allow me to learn around my work schedule, but also structured enough to keep me on track. I love that SheCodes started at the extreme basics, and taught just enough in each lesson to be easy to follow while still providing a thorough knowledge base in coding. I was extremely busy with the holidays during the past three weeks and was still able to complete the workshop and feel like I know what I am doing. I'm looking forward to the next level!

Working with SheCodes to build my first functioning website has been amazing! I feel like I understand what I am doing and if I get stuck the team has helped me through it!
Wow, I have to admit it was tough! But really, really stimulating. It feels so rewarding seeing a real weather app, with real data, and fully functional, built with my own hands! I learned so much during this course, I started to get a bit more used to Javascript and I was even able to write stuff on my own in the final project, which I couldn't imagine I would be able to do. I also loved learning how Git works! There's so much stuff I need to learn better, especially from the first weeks; but I think what I learned until now is already so much, so I have to thank Matt for all of this!
I've thoroughly enjoyed this introduction to the world of coding. I'm amazed at how much I've learnt in just three weeks. Matt is such a great instructor and I'm excited to use my new knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I had a lot of fun learning how to do some very basic things and plan to learn even more. One of the handiest things about this workshop was the ability to go back and re-watch this videos if I ever forgot how to do anything.
SheCodes made it possible to go from knowing nothing about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to creating a functional webpage in a matter of three weeks.
Wow it is pretty incredible to have just produced a fully operational weather app that pulls live data in only 8 weeks of learning! I thoroughly enjoy this course. It had the prefect balance between challenge and having good support so I didn't get stuck on anything for very long. It really helped me to keep going and learn how to push through the hard parts. I feel like a real coder now and my dream of becoming a front end developer feels possible.
Matt is a great resource! Thanks to Matt and SheCodes, learning to code is not as frustrating as I thought. I wish all people have access to coding and contribute great projects to the society.
