I really enjoyed the course and I'm looking forward to starting SheCodes React!

I started the Basic SheCodes course without any knowledge in coding and, surprisingly, I have enjoyed it more than I thought. This course is perfect as an introduction to coding. Matt is a great teacher and, every lesson is presented step by step. Creating the projects at the end of each lesson, helps you solidify the information. Thank you Matt & the SheCodes team!

The practical way in which classes are taught makes me more confident and willing to learn more and more! ✌

The course is broken down into easily absorbed, bite-sized information. A great workshop for those looking to kickstart their coding journey!

The SheCodes courses have been great as they provide good learning videos broken into steps along with regular assignments to keep you on track. I have gone from zero knowledge about coding to building websites in JavaScript and React, and integrating API's. It has been such a rewarding journey and you get to share it with an entire community.

I like challenges and because the world is becoming more and more digital I set this one to myself and it was a great experience, thanks to SheCodes, Matt, and his team I started the year 2022 by launching my first project in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Let the next step begin!

Another milestone achieved! Before starting SheCodes Responsive I never thought I could have learned this much. It was like diving into the coding world in the real meaning. I really appreciate Matt's teaching methods and his support group on Slack are just awesome. Now comes a very nice feeling of accomplishment and so much excitement for upcoming workshops.

I was interested in taking the course after attending the free workshop. I enjoyed the teaching style and structure of the course. I was familiar with basic HTML and some CSS. After taking the course I feel a lot more confident about using the Chrome Developer Tools, reading front end code, using Visual Studio Code and coding websites in HTML, CSS and basic Javascript. I am already seeing a difference at work. This course has made me a better Product Owner.

Straight-forward modules coupled with a responsive support team and engaging challenges.

SheCodes has been amazing! Matt Delac has an easy way of teaching and even shows us that professionals can sometimes make mistakes. This made it much easier for me to jump right in to building my portfolio and changing the code to match my wants.

I am VERY impressed with the SheCodes Basics course! The way everything was broken down and shown was very well done. I am a high school drop out who has been a stay at home mom for the last 6.5 years, so I was very nervous beginning this journey. Learning the basics of coding was incredibly easy with SheCodes! I love how the courses are structured with challenges to do every step along the way and the deadlines also help to keep myself motivated (I have ADHD so this is actually really important for people like me). I train customer service reps in the financial sector and I feel like this method of learning should be applied everywhere as it's incredibly effective. I'm excited for SheCodes Plus! 😁

Learning how to code with SheCodes is much more easier than I thought. It is an amazing experience and I strongly recommend SheCodes to all women around the world!

So, I've read in testimonials from other coders before that they found SheCodes Reponsive the most challenging so far - and I'm totally with them! The fact that you have to respect different screen sizes was tricky and it made me feel lost from time to time. But - as always - Matt's videos got me where I wanted to go in the end (more or less at least, there are still many things I'd like to improve but at some point it's just time to finish, right? 😉). Also, this time around I felt more confident to research and try new techniques on my own because of the good basic coding knowledge from the first two classes. I'd never thought that I would be able to code such a nice website. So thank you very much, dear SheCodes-Team, I'll see you in 2022 in React!

I'm not going to lie this was very difficult and frustrating for me but I did enjoy doing the final project. Learning HTML, CSS and especially JavaScript was way harder then I expected. I honestly can't wait tell it's over. It's not going to over soon because I paid for React. Should have started small, my own fault.

SheCodes has been a great experience. A very friendly interphase and a great tutor as well! I look forward to the next stage of learning.

I`m so happy and so proud of all the work that I did. Thanks to everyone on the team, I learned a lot and loved every second. It is hard to learn a skill from zero, but I did my best to do everything in the best way. I`m looking forward to working in that area and learning everything that I can!

Courses are clear and easy to understand.

The basic course is in general easy to understand even for total beginners. Videos are fun and challenges after each lesson are really challenging (but useful and worth it). I would definitely recommend the basic course to everyone who would like to find out if coding is the right decision for you.

SheCodes Plus was challenging and fun! The content is well-organised, the lessons are easy to follow and the allotted time for each week is very accurate.

So nice to see my evolution from the last project to this one. Looking forward for the next workshop.

I have completed SheCodes Basic, Plus and Responsive and I'm looking forward to moving onto React. Towards the end of Completing SheCodes Responsive I was offered a position as Web Support Assistant for a Web Agency who specialise in the Arts! I would 100% recommend SheCodes to everyone. It has led me to my next venture in just under a year after leaving University and would not have been possible without the knowledge I gained through SheCodes!

I really enjoyed this workshop. I had loads of fun applying all the techniques and tricks we learned from Matt and also from Joāo and Bruno. And I am very happy for being able to build something which a couple of months ago seemed impossible to me. I am very excited about the next workshop.

SheCodes Pro - YEWWW! I DID IT! I have hugely enjoyed the SheCodes experience from Basics all the way to React. Before starting SheCodes I had no idea that becoming a developer would be within my reach or capability. The SheCodes workshops have given me the confidence, and focus I needed to pursue a new career, and I am now well on my way to becoming a front-end dev. I've started my journey with SheCodes workshops in February 2021. I loved every minute of the whole year with all the workshops. It's sad or more like bittersweet to finish my last workshop. I'm grateful to Matt and the SheCodes team for all the guidance and support. You helped me, and many others, to survive this year.

Honestly, I thought that it would be impossible for me to learn to code at this pace that I am learning now. After only 2 weeks, I could write a page with some interaction from scratch. IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!

I am a school bus driver that was desperate for a change in life. Through SheCodes, I have gained access to the tech world and have learned something that I thought was impossible to learn!

The course was fast paced and kept my interest! Definitely for beginners, or for a simple coding refresher. Would recommend, it was nice to go at my own pace, but still be challenged.

It is often interpreted that to code, you need to go into a specific field, or you need to be good in math, but that is not true! I am not studying any coding-related degree or am not good at math. I came across SheCodes and I thought that I wanted to learn to code because it is a good skill to have, and I should give it a try. I am so happy that I made that choice and from the comfort of my home, got to learn how to code, and understand everything. I am so grateful for Matt, and all the technical support staff at SheCodes to make SheCodes a place to empower women from across the globe to learn coding and to use it in their career and life.

I really, really enjoyed this workshop. I had started coding at University, where I had various courses on HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I found the material complicated in how it was taught and often struggled to keep up. Being apart of SheCodes has really boosted my confidence with coding, and made me realise I can do it, just with the right teacher! Matt's lessons have been enjoyable and made coding fun to learn. I definitely would recommend this course to anyone with a keen interest in coding.

This course is very easy to follow and offers a great introduction to the world of programming.

I've been wanting to learn how to code for a year now, but I have never managed to take serious steps towards this goal since I didn't have a clear path in my mind. SheCodes Basics helped me to learn the basics of front-end development and showed me that it is not as scary as it seems to be. Overall, I had so much fun with this workshop and I am looking forward to taking the next workshops!

I had so much fun learning the basics of coding alongside Matt. Each video is clear, short, and easy to digest. The weekly homework assignments keep you accountable and the slack channel makes it easy to get help 24/7! I can't wait to keep learning more

The SheCodes Basics workshop was just what I was looking for. While I've been using HTML in my work as an email marketing and e-commerce specialist, I haven't had a good understanding of how to actually use it. Now, I feel much more confident in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, thanks to SheCodes. The lessons were easy to understand, informative, and left me with a practical understanding of coding for my day-to-day.

Thank you guys for your support - I learnt so much from this course, the vanilla app videos were super helpful and I was able to go through my own code again and improve it a lot. Yay - I did it :)

The SheCodes workshop was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I enjoyed coding with Matt's teaching methods. thank you very much for this opportunity!

The structure of the SheCodes Basics workshop is very organised and Matt's explanations are clear and understandable. I enjoyed the small challenges after every topic because it also shows me whether I understood what I just learned. Also, I like that there is a Slack channel where we can communicate with other students as well as ask questions when needed. Though it is an online workshop, it feels personal due to the engagement of the students and the SheCodes team.

I am from Venezuela and currently live in Berlin. I was motivated to learn basic coding so that I could understand more of why its being so popular. I really enjoyed this workshop as its really easy to follow, and it helped me to gain more motivation and improve my creative senses. Self-paced learning fit me perfectly as it gives the opportunity to manage my schedule and train self-discipline.

I was always interested in coding, but always felt intimidated by it. All I needed was the one-hour introductory course with Matt and I was hooked. The SheCodes Basics workshop really allowed me to realise I am capable of this and Matt is an awesome teacher and I must say he has a nice voice too! I will definitely continue on with SheCodes Plus.

SheCodes Basic - Highly recommend for everyone that wants to see if they would like coding. Lessons are well explained and from time to time you will get a challenge to find something out by yourself which is a great way to learn.

I'm an adult educator and I've never had anything to do with web design or anything like that. When I discovered SheCodes by accident, I was so curious and excited. I signed up and set a goal for myself. A goal that seemed so unattainable to me just a few weeks ago: to be able to create my own landing page. I laughed at the idea myself in the beginning because I thought "how can someone with my background create something like this?" What can I say: I can do it now! I am incredibly proud of myself and so grateful to have discovered SheCodes by accident. Thanks to Matt and the whole team!

Great course

I really enjoyed getting into the logic of Coding! It was like learning a new language! I really recommend this to estimulate your creativity and logic thinking! And for everyone that works in digital marketing this helps a lot to better understand the digital language!

After finishing SheCodes Basic, I couldn't wait to keep on deep diving into coding. I wasn't at all disappointed! I learned so much and Matt made things sound pretty simple, even though they were not simple at all. I'm gaining more and more confidence and I'm sure I'll keep on moving forward 😃

Initially, I worried that the course may be daunting but the content is presented in such a way that all the information we're given is bite-sized and easily digestible. The Slack groups were also incredibly helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop!

The React workshop is very tough, but it was worth it.

I would definitely recommend this workshop to anybody who is interested in coding. I am impressed with how the courses are structured and its very easy and quick to get your questions answered. Just completed the Basics and hoping to learn in-depth from the future workshops!

I am currently finishing a Non-tech Baccalaureate and heard about SheCodes through Instagram. The hands-on experience and testimonials from the website are with basis and accurate. It is very easy to lose track of time while completing challenges because it is interactively fun, hence my sleepless nights. One of the few sleepless nights where you wake up fulfilled and satisfyingly productive.

I learn a great deal about coding and how anyone can do it. Matt was a great instructor and the videos were pretty easy to follow. The whole SheCodes staff was very helpful on Slack. This is an easy 5 stars review for me!

With this course I found the entire process of learning to code to be fun!

I enjoyed taking this workshop. I was excited to start my journey on how to code. I found Matt's videos to be helpful, and beginner-level friendly.
