I would highly recommend this program! It is a great level for anyone who wants an introduction to coding in an approachable and fun way!
To be very honest, I did not believe in myself at the beginning. I thought that coding is only for the IT guys who have studied it for years. But I gave it a shot anyways! After each class I stared to gain more confidence and I discovered that it actually might be something that I want to do in the future. It's actually a lot of fun! I am very glad I have tried and I truly believe that one day I will start working in this industry.
I've learnt a lot during SheCodes Responsive. After this workshop I can use Bootstrap and Media Query without any problem and make nice, responsive websites. Thanks and can't wait to start SheCodes React! π

I am sure that I am not the first nor the last person who asked themselves at some point of their life "Is it too late to learn how to code?". SheCodes and their courses answered this question for me and the answer is.. Definitely not too late! :) I have learned a lot in this course in a very easy and playful way. Having to do homework after each class ensured that I put the theory learned in practise and helped me understand how to work with certain elements. Thank you, SheCodes!

Yayy to me! I have completed another Shecodes Workshop successfully. I am looking forward to start React now. :) The structure of the syllabus was spot on. I am not a book person and I have wasted so much money buying programming books and never finished more than 2 pages( im not proud). I love how Shecodes gives me opportunity to watch Matt doing the work and i can watch step by step. lets talk about the help. Amazing community and Joao and Bruno helped me at every step where I felt stuck, without babysitting me.I absolutely recommend Shecodes to anyone on a heart beat.
I have always considered myself a creative person so coding was never really on my radar. I decided to try it and I have not regret it for a second. Coding actually is very creative and. I would recommend anyone who has. doubts, to try. Also, Matt explains everything clearly and logically. I was worried but now I just want to continue. :)

The basic course gave me a first (basic ;)) understanding how websites are build, how css and html have to be read. The tutorials were pretty easy to understand and even if I do not use the slack group that often, I love the idea to use this for communicating with other female coders and the SheCodes team. I realized that I really like coding and it makes the whole coding world less nerdy to me ;) I have a great respect for the programming world.
SheCodes Plus is an amazing adventure I would highly recommend. It's a challenging, but well structured and really fun course. Getting to know how to code gave me a lot broader view both in my professional and private life. Matt is a great instructor and makes coding accessible for everybody. Can't wait to continue learning how to code with next SheCodes workshops!

These 3 weeks were a great introduction into the world of front-end development. All explanations and videos were clear and easy to follow, and the challenges at the end of each module were the cherry on top. I had a really great time, and I can't wait to start the more advanced workshops.

Feeling empowered that I can use the skills I've learned during the SheCodes Responsive course to build my own websites and enrich my knowledge as a designer as well.
I had such a great experience taking the introductory courses here on SheCodes. The courses were well-structured, organized, and evenly paced. I was worried about not being able to keep up with work and the not having enough coding experience, but the resources like the Slack threads and the constant support from the SheCodes team really made this experience worth it.
Another amazing course from SheCodes, can't wait for the next one!

I took this course as a challenge and had doubts in the first 2-3 days. But I have to say the teaching/tutorials and the deadlines with the homework push you to deliver the best. Had an awesome experience in learning and would love to take the next course soon as now I want to know it all!!!
As someone who just got into programming, I tend to have a hard time keeping myself in check when learning something new outside of school. Through SheCodes, I was able to pace myself weekly. I grew my front-end web development skills with lessons that were easy to follow and challenges that were fun to solve! I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to learn more about front-end development.
This was a great course! React is really fun to learn and Matt explains everything so clearly. Sad my time with SheCodes is at an end, but excited to hopefully get a new job in this field!
I'm so happy I was able to take part in this course from the beginning until the very end. When I first started I had very little knowledge of web development, but after finishing my final project I feel that I learned so much and was able to develop new skills. A good course for getting to grips with responsive coding!
SheCodes 3 week course was a fantastic way to me to get a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The course included easy to understand videos and lots of practice. The 3 week course was an awesome introduction, highly recommend to those who might just be curious, I think you'll come out knowing if you want to pursue learning more about coding, because you get just enough exposure to coding. I will consider them in the future if I want to learn more on this subject.
SheCodes Plus was a wonderful learning experience, would highly recommend.
Explanation throughout the course is very clear. It was fun to have challenges at the end of every lesson, its like a recap of what we had learnt. It helps make sure that I really understand the concepts and able to apply it correctly.
SheCodes has been a really great help to me and has contributed a lot to my dreams of learning how to code. Thanks to Delac Foundation learning to code is free for me. The classes were fun and Matt is a really good teacher. I am really looking forward to the next workshop!

It's a very good workshop to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the challenges are fun, and you learn nice tricks that alone you wouldn't. If you are new at coding, it's very easy to feel overwhelmed by the quantity of new information you have to learn, so It's really nice to have someone helping you navigate through all of this.
Got the basic workshop from SheCodes as a christmas present for myself and it is a great choice. The content of the workshop does not overload beginners w/ work. Learning is flexible in terms of location and time. I enjoy every small challenge from the workshop. It is a good platform to learn coding.

Great course in which Matt guides you through a creation of a complex app. He breaks down the course into small bits which makes learning pleasant and easier to grasp without feeling overwhelmed - but if you do, he kindly reminds you to take a break, go for a walk and relax before you continue. I most definitely suggest this course to anyone who would like to learn Front-End Development.

In this course I learned so much. It was 8 great weeks learning a lot of things and now I'm feeling so accomplished because I built my own app. I strongly recommend investing in a SheCodes course, because the content is very nice and organized plus there's a weekly basis homework, so you can stay motivated by keeping on track your progress.
I have always wanted to learn code, but always felt so scared. This workshop has surprised me positively and I have learnt so much in such a short period of time! I will definitely continue learning code with Matt :)

I never knew how to code before, for work I wanted to better understand the different coding languages and know the basics. Now I'm able to quicker understand when designers speak to me about the different codes.

I thought this might be difficult but the video and homework assigned makes it easy to learn and understand the concept on various aspect of HTML/CSS/JavaScript. By the way, JavaScript is lots of fun.
