The SheCodes Basics Workshop was an excellent refresher that helped me solidify my skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The information throughout the course was well presented, the instructor was very knowledgeable and the hands-on projects are very rewarding. I am looking forward to continuing my education with the next Workshop!

Another educational and fun workshop in the books. I have learned a lot of new skills in this particular workshop for React itself and new general coding skills as well. It has been a long journey with many nights of confusion, but thanks to Matt and his team I was able to complete and understand my tasks along the way.

I'm so glad to have continued another workshop with SheCodes! There's an overwhelming amount of support from all the staff and students if you have any questions. Matt is a great teacher and really makes all the coding easy to understand. Excited to start another workshop soon!

Absolutely the BEST program to consider if you are beginning your coding journey! I never thought I would be capable of understanding the material I have been taught in this course. I am definitely going to recommend this program to my military colleagues and friends who are interested in learning to code.

This extra course was great. After working with a bit of date and time from the last project, I was eager to learn more. This course was perfect for learning about time zones and how to add them to a website. Matt makes it easy to follow, for a quick, but highly educational 2-week course.

During the workshop, I learned plenty of new techniques I later used for building my final project. The course contains lots of practical exercises. Most of them were challenging at the start, but by the end of the final week, I started to feel more confident and now have no doubt I will be able to use the new skills in my future projects. I am a college student looking to span my skill in order to get my dream job. I love learning and coding has always been interesting to me yet I could not find a program that fit in with my hectic schedule. I am really excited to put my new skills to the test.

During this course, I got acquainted with the basics of front-end programming which was really advantageous for me as it was a good introduction!

Before SheCodes, I thought I needed to have some background knowledge on coding or that was wasn't smart/creative enough to learn how to code. This has been an awesome experience. The course was challenging but with a lot of support and guidance along the way. The lessons were thorough and practical. I particularly liked that I could go back and watch the lessons over and over till it was clear and feedback to questions were given. I have learnt so much.

I highly recommend this workshop, it takes you through all the basics of HTML, CSS and JS. Matt is an excellent teacher who breaks down information so that it is easy to understand and follow along. The challenges after almost each lesson is a great way to practice what you have just learnt. I really enjoyed this course and would recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to get into coding.

This was a really excellent workshop! I learned a lot about js and mostly how to work with APIs, Loved it and can't wait to start my next workshop.

I've been looking at programming for a long time, but I didn't dare to do it. Circumstances developed in such a way that a war broke out in my country, I had a third child, and I became a housewife. I don't remember exactly how, but fate directed me to the SheCodes site and I decided that it was time to learn coding. At the beginning of the course, I was afraid that I would not succeed, but while working on the final project, I realized that I was passionate about coding. Matt is a very inspiring teacher. He knows how to explain complex things simply. I'm so glad I chose SheCodes to learn and overcome my fear of coding. Now I'm looking forward to continuing my studies!

This workshop is not easy, but it is really rewarding. I've began this journey as a complete newbie, and I'm really grateful for such opportunity to find a new way to build my skills.

Ambitious is the final word I can give this course. I write it and speak it (out loud) because now I can finally say "I have completed this course, as an ambitious woman." Yes, this course challenged my critical mindset, on a personal level but it was worth the tears that came along with it. Most definitely I wanted to quit the course but the little girl inside me told me, "keep going.. finish.. don't give up!" These are the words I manifested everyday until I completed.

The SheCodes Plus has helped take my coding skills to a different level. The information is well presented, and the assignments are challenging, as well as rewarding. The SheCodes Slack channel is another amazing resource. I was able to obtain further clarity and guidance on more difficult concepts and challenges. As per the previous workshops, React was well-structured, easy to follow, and fun to code. Matt Delac has the talent to break down complicated functions into more approachable and digestible concepts, which makes the whole process more enjoyable and actually good fun. One of the best,workshops for those who just stepped on the path of coding. Very challenging, very interesting, like your own competition. Well, this workshop is the first step we take to know API. In this workshop, Matt Delac introduces API with a clear expression. Surely first it is not easy, but with practice we can learn and use it. I have strugle finishing three weeks workshop due to University and my job but I can happily say I have finally ended it, and I'm really grateful for this oppurtunity.

These three weeks were great time that I could learn a lot in SheCodes and it was really helpful. I enjoyed having experience to learn from SheCodes Team. And it is very nice that the team are very supportive.

Oh, mine, thank you so much Matt and SheCodes team, at first, I thought it was impossible to get to the end of my SheCodes Basic starting my first experience with coding with HTML and CSS but gradually the lessons started making sense with JavaScript and finally coding became possible, I'm super excited about reaching this milestone in my coding journey, I'm committed to successfully reaching the end of this coding journey and doing hard things. I've been having a lot of fun with the SheCodes Plus program, plus gaining confidence that I can create an app that works. Months ago, I enrolled in the SheCodes Plus workshop as a complete newbie. Today, I am a lady in tech. Each video was really easy and clear instruction to understand, and each challenge was step-by-step. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to code from scratch!

SheCodes is an amazing workshop for women who wants to learn coding! The material you are learning is really easy and interesting to understand, the teacher's work is on highest level. After focusing mainly on HTML and CSS, the leap to React was a little challenging - but once I got into it I had so much fun! Matt shows different methods to completing sections of your code, and its useful to know best practices with these too. Thank you SheCodes and Matt for an amazing course!

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. In the beginning, I was genuinely worried that I may not be able to get full benefits from an online session, however, the experience was not as I expected. A brief and worthwhile course for learning the basics of web development. In this course most common tags of HTML and CSS Syntax is taught. Also, one can get familiar with the basics of JavaScript and its functions.

I really liked this course. The lecture material is very structured. Learning takes place at my pace, I can speed up the video, or repeat it 3 times until I understand the material. After that, I wanted to continue learning Java Script. Now I have an idea of how much I still have to learn.

All my life I've tried new things. After countless fails and attempts, I eventually began to tell myself I wasn't good enough when approaching any new opportunity. Entering in, I knew I was way in over my head. But when SheCodes taught me how to code, for the first time in a lifetime I felt confident and proud of myself. I began dreaming about my projects and the code I've been working on. I began talking to myself in the shower about how I can fix the bug I've been working on. I became so intrigued on how other websites were made. Not only did SheCodes help me find my passion, but it helped me become smarter and grow mentally! My thinking process improved, my observations skills enhanced, I grew more patients while taking in information from people. SheCodes became my family and I couldn't be more happy to have it in my life.

This was a journey of trial and error where I felt free to be autonomous but having always in mind that I could search for additional help if needed, either from the SheCodes Teams or from the other colleagues. Every step further made me feel more confident!

In simple words, I am glad that I joined this program. I have had several web designing projects before but cause I never understood what exactly is going on there, I couldn't deeply connect to UI designing. The final project was the first time I knew what I was going to do and I did it without the desire to break my laptop in the middle of it. Thanks to the great instructor and his wonderful, friendly tips and explanations. I am looking forward continuing this field and start my professional career.
