I never imagined I would be able to code the way I can now that I finished the course! I can't wait to keep learning more and hopefully start a career in the field. I love the methodology from SheCodes because it made me learn so much without even noticing it, everything is so simple, it's really surprising.

When I first heard about SheCodes, I wanted to see what it was really about. I purchased just the basic a few months ago, unfortunately I gotten behind. However, When I had the time to really study, that's when I went for it again. I never thought I would enjoy self paced course until I saw Matt's Videos. I was struggling with JavaScript at first but now I understand it. The videos are very informational and I like the fact you can complete exercises. I've signed up all the way to SheCodes Max. SheCodes has been the best coding program! It's a 10/10 for me. In only three weeks I have learned so much information, but it never felt overwhelming since all the projects are fun and engaging! The best part is that I would go back to past lessons whenever I need a refresher. Would totally recommend this Coding program.
This is a great workshop if you truly want the basics of coding and don't have enough time to study more than 10h per week. It gives you a good intro to three languages (my favourite so far is javascript) and you can build on that knowledge with the next, more advanced workshop. If you have no coding knowledge whatsoever, go for it! If you are a little tech savvy, I suggest going for the next level.

SheCodes.io is a great refresher course. I have been a Web Designer for 8+plus years and wanted to learn more JavaScipt and get better in programming.

The Responsive Add-On workshop was really interesting. It was really fun to learn how to build a responsive website using just pure HTML and CSS.

I signed up for SheCodes Basics and I was immediately hooked! I'd always thought coding was so difficult and I'd need to be really good at math (I suck at math), but the workshop busted those myths. I appreciated that each lesson was bite-sized - it kept me wanting to learn more, without being overwhelmed. SheCodes is definitely a resource that I could see myself coming back to over and over again. If anyone is remotely interested in learning how to code, I highly recommend signing up to SheCodes workshops today!

This course was exciting! The best thing is that in the end, you'll be able to build your own weather app. Also, I've learned a lot of great and new things. I initially started to learn how to code through another company and was extremely put off, I was ready to quit learning and put my aspirations of learning how to code to the side until I found SheCodes. This course has been challenging, but it's been a lot of fun and the resources and the support from SheCodes have been brilliant π€© Whenever I've had a question I could either find the answer in the SheCodes Slack channels, or ask them in Slack myself and I'd get an answer very quickly. With the tools we're given, I was also able to experiment a little with my code. I'm a graphic designer, and I wanted to design my own weather icons for the weather app we needed to create. The people at SheCodes had no problem with that, and I managed to include them and I'm so chuffed with the results! If anyone out there is keen to take this course but you can't quite decide; you'll learn so many tools and techniques and you'll be amazed by what you're able to create at the end! I was nervous too, but now I'm so glad I did it!! Plus, you have a lifetime access to the lessons so what you learn will never go out-of-date, as they update their lessons to reflect any new techniques, updated software, etc.
This basic web development course was so useful and fun. I am very excited because coding is very interesting, especially when I see the result of the codes as a colorful page. Thank you, SheCodes for this valuable opportunity.

I've been introduced to HTML and CSS before I started the workshop but I really enjoyed the lessons! They're short but they have everything you need to know about the basics of building a website. Brilliant teaching, would never have considered coding as a hobby prior to undertaking this class. It was something I never understood when I was younger in school but Matt explained it in a way that I was able to both understand the concepts but also practice them myself.
