This is the most effective workshop to understand the basis of development. I was searching on Google and it's difficult to find the motivation online, since the topic is a little bit scary and confusional. The best thing about Shecodes is that you find motivation. Everything is clear and you will have the need to learn more.
I found the workshops engaging and educational. The challenges were stimulating and rewarding. Everything was well-organised and user-friendly. The fact that I could work at my own pace was a bonus.
Taking part in SheCodes has been a great experience for me. For example, I've had the opportunity to learn coding in a supportive environment with other women and have gained valuable skills that I can use in my future career. This course is highly recommended because I love the way Matt teaches. Furthermore, the course has given me the confidence to pursue coding as a hobby, furthering my understanding of the subject and developing my problem-solving skills.

The Next workshop was super informative and very useful. Matt provided insight on what future employers would be on the lookout for and introduced tools that can help us appeal to them so that we can get hired. This workshop has been a great guide.

SheCodes Plus helped me a lot to get a deeper knowledge and understanding of JS and hosting websites, which I will use in my daily work. Although there were some really challenging parts, I had a lot of fun to solve the challenges and creating my project.

SheCodes is a really good program to learn for development. I started this program before I enrolled in college for information technology and it was very helpful. Because I already learned the basics using SheCodes, I was able to excel in my website development class. 10 out of 10 recommend!

In just 2 weeks, I had the basics for creating an appealing website. The workshop was challenging, and required a good deal of work, but by the end, I felt I had enough knowledge of the topics that I could successfully implement the basic principles.

I was initially interested in the workshop to familiarize myself with coding and enhance my work with software and game localization. I am now much more confident to work with software-related projects, all thanks to the practical skills I learned in this course.
Easy to follow along and learn. Mind you however: The 3 weeks will not get you fluent in the coding language, it will take longer to get routed and comfortable. Nevertheless, would def. recommend to beginners!

Studying coding with SheCodes has been a fantastic experience for me. I just started two weeks ago and knew nothing about coding. After two weeks I am delighted to say that I confidently have learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. These classes are full of fun, intrigue, and sometimes intensity. I mean intensity, positively. The pre-recorded lessons are excellent. However, video recordings alone are not enough to convey information. Hence, in order to learn faster, you need to listen attentively, take notes, and practice rewriting codes repeatedly. In spite of the fact that I only asked one question and found the solution before receiving a reply from the team. There is no doubt in my mind that the SheCodes team is awesome. Their support is always available to students, and students can count on them at any time. Prior to enrolling in the course, I had a lot of doubts about whether I should invest money in SheCodes. As a result of taking the classes covered in the first three weeks, I can say without a doubt that this has been the most valuable investment I have ever made. In addition to that, I also had concerns about payment and wrote an email to Matt elaborating on this topic. Upon receiving a response, I was offered a discount and the option of making monthly payments, which was very comforting for me. As a side note, I'd like to mention that I was neither paid nor pressured to write this testimony. It was entirely my wish to do so. (My motivation for writing this sentence is because I found some upsetting YouTube videos that were misrepresenting the SheCodes course)! Thank you, SheCodes for creating such an incredible course. I signed up with little knowledge of coding but always wanted to know more. SheCodes Basics is a great introduction course that lays out the foundations really well. Although this is only the start, Iβm surprised at how much I learnt in a short amount of time!

Matt's explanations are excellent, as they always are and very clear. The content is really interesting and it makes you want to go deeper into the topics covered. I enjoyed researching a different design from those chosen for previous projects, inspired by vintage watches.

This was a fantastic introductory course to coding! Each lesson has the perfect amount of material covered, and you can go at your own pace. The exercises that followed the lessons helped put the learnings into practice, while also providing solutions so you can correct or improve your work if needed. Highly recommend!

Before knowing SheCodes, I wasted my money on Facebook courses about coding because they are all theoretical and boring. SheCodes allow me to do hand-on practices with supports from the team.
After participating in the SheCodes Basics program, I decided to fully commit to my coding journey. Each lesson has been both informative and fun. Matt speaks and demonstrates each lesson clearly, making it easier to follow along. I look forward to continuing the course and learning more!
SheCodes is an excellent course for both beginners and those trying to refresh their brain. I tried teaching myself back in 2021 and was frustrated because I was using a free site that just made you do all of the reading and wasn't very great at explanations of different concepts. I love how SheCodes is very interactive. The formatting of the video, challenge, and then explaining the solution is very effective. I also love all of the free tools such as the curated CSS gradients, cheatsheets, and all of the CSS generators. They were very helpful and fun to use for my final project so that I could easily and quickly test out what would work best (especially the generators). I would recommend SheCodes to anyone.

Great way to get your feet wet in html, CSS, and Javascript. The videos are easy to follow and understand. Like with most things, you get out of it what you put in. I think to understand code and build a strong foundation, you need to be coding every day.

A timezone tracker that displays the current time in different cities around the world. I used JavaScript to handle date/time logic and DOM manipulation, ensuring the clock updates in real time. This project taught me how to manage asynchronous code and create a seamless user experience without page refreshes. Skills Applied: JavaScript, DOM manipulation, setInterval, Bootstrap

I have learned to build a weather app in React and had so much fun with it. Although I went through so much stress with it, I was fully fulfilled at the end of the project. I look forward to building more projects using react.

I probably struggled to wrap my head around React the most out of the SheCodes courses so far, but I don't think that was helped by taking on a separate unrelated project at the same time! The flexibility of the course let me take my time with lessons and go back when I was perhaps a little distracted. React is definitely going to be a useful tool and I've enjoyed rebuilding my weather app this way. I'm looking forward to using it more in future!

As a complete beginner with no prior knowledge in coding, I was initially intimidated by the thought of learning how to code. However, the course I took was designed in a way that made it easy to understand even for someone with no background in coding. The lessons were well-structured and the instructors were very patient in explaining the concepts. The course started with the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and gradually built upon that foundation, allowing me to gradually gain confidence in my abilities. The course also provided plenty of hands-on exercises and projects, which helped me to apply what I had learned and solidify my understanding. Overall, the course was a great introduction to the world of coding and I feel much more comfortable diving deeper into coding.
