I had zero knowledge of any languages covered in the basics program. It was simple enough to follow along with the videos, and I really liked having a challenge right after the explanation video to test what was just covered. It helped me to learn it on my own, and I now feel a lot more confident for the next workshop!
Starting to learn how to code with SheCodes was a very good idea for me. I like how the learning material is broken down into small lessons that are easy to follow. It really is a lot of fun actually!
Doing this was the first time I actually made a decision on my own and was able to have full control on how I preferred things. It made me realize that not only was this good for me to try a new thing, but it was a fun yet equally challenging experience that makes you want more.

The next step in my coding journey was certainly a challenge. I am appreciative of the slack channel where I was able to find students with the same issues that helped me solve my own. Although sometimes tough, it was a great experience to build the weather app week by week. I am excited to try and build something from the ground up!

This course is a good way to understand if you are interested in programming in general. Due to the fact that during the course they give the most basic information, but capture all the main topics and give a lot of opportunity to practice, you can concentrate on your feelings and understand what you like best in the process

I think for someone who is a complete beginner it is beneficial. Also, the way the classes are structured makes itis easy to understand the new things you are learning throughout the course. Furthermore, it gives you the confidence to continue your learning journey :)
Everything is super clear and intelligibly. Information in videos is very stuctured and the whole course itself has a great structure
This work shop has been a challenging one. Starting with how to start using React and deploying it, and then to changing a bit of the ways you code. I had to keep reminding myself of when we are using React and when to use JSX. Luckily the videos and the SheCodes staff through Slack has been a life saver! I recommend the work shops because of the helpful explanations on why the codes work this way and not that way, and the homework and challenges will keep you on track.
SheCodes opened up the world of coding for me by making it accessible and creative. I enjoyed problem-solving to overcome errors and to experiment with different layouts. It's satisfying to be able to build your own website in the final project using html, css and javascript, and shows just how much you can learn over a few weeks!
This course was very challenging and at the same time fun and interesting. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get into coding.
I found every lesson to be extremely helpful in increasing my skills. If you want to learn intermediate CSS, this course is definitely recommended.

Before I became part of this family I did not know how to code using Javascript language and I've only done the basics, imagine what I will learn with other advanced workshops. Wonderful workshop. First of all, the way an expansion was taught was extremely easy to understand. One of the strengths of this program was its project-based approach, which assisted in the learning process. Slack chat is extremely helpful if I have any questions. Additionally, solving a project at the end of the workshop helped me to categorize the knowledge that I had acquired. As a result of this workshop, I have gained a great deal of knowledge about the basics of coding. Thanks a lot.
Simple and digestible! This workshop was an excellent choice to begin learning the fundamentals. I liked how brief the videos were. I also liked how each video ended with a challenge to put what I had just learned into practice. I feel like the basics workshopΒ has given me a solid foundation in CSS/HTML/JavaScript that I can build on with the help of other workshops and Googling. The lecturer is also excellent at explaining things, and if you ever get stuck on something, the Slack group is extremely helpful.

At first, I wasn't sure but the more I learned, the more I got interested.
I just pass through the Shecodes plus workshop and I feel like I've learned so much in such a small amount of time. I have to admit that this is absolutely what every woman with an interest in coding should experience.
