I started the workshop with zero experience and now I am able to do a lot of stuff in coding. The pace at which the program moves enables one to be able to do work and learn simultaneously. It has been a great experience for me and has expanded my skills knowledge.
Just completed Week 3 of the SheCodes Max Add-ons and I can't wait for the next week. Glad I signed up to continue my coding journey and learn new things.

For the past few years I was working in Retail Industry but I was really interested to try coding and change my career to front end developer. I really never thought I could enjoy coding but with this workshop I really did enjoy the process of learning programming and it was a unique experience. The SheCodes team was perfect and they helped me in my journey.
It was not easy to understand at the first time. I had to pause and re-play the videos many times. But it was a great experience.

I came to SheCodes to learn the basics of coding, I am curious to understand more about software development and so far I've found it very interesting the way SheCodes is built by creating a community, setting homework with set deadlines and simplified lessons.
This workshop is beginner friendly. The instructor takes you through all the concepts and is very easy to understand. I enjoyed completing the challenges as they were both challenging but also fascinating.

I love the accountability which the weekly program offers, this means that I was more likely to stay committed. Another factor I enjoy is the fact you can easily revisit and rewatch videos, the support from Slack is super helpful and accessible. Matt teaches in a clear and playful way which makes the sessions enjoyable. I enjoy the focus on playing around with colour and design.

sheCodes plus opened me up to advanced aspect of HTML, CSS and JS, with an introduction to Git, GitHub and Netlify, this help to bring life to the application been built, and it was fun doing this. The lesson were easy to understand and the pace was perfect.

SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than SheCodes Basics :) Step by step building the weather app improved my skills and knowledge about coding. It is very rewarding to finish a project like this and show it to friends and family. They were never expecting that I will make something like this :D

SheCodes Responsive was an awesome challenge to make your personal website that looks very nice on different displays. Matt does a great job! He explanes how to do website responsive, but also he allows you to take initiative to explore your own ideas.
Interesting challenge to learn more in-depth knowledge about JS and learning how to use API in projects.
Loved SheCodes Plus, it was so fun to learn how much we can do with coding and I can't wait to keep learning more, even if it's getting harder, it's still a very fun journey to be in!!

I have loved this course for the past 3 weeks. I've tried many coding courses before and found them stressful and hard to follow. I absolutely loved this course! I think this course offers the perfect amount of theory and practice to get you inspired and motivated to learn to code and do the exercises. I have tried to learn html in the past but always abandoned as it seemed too complicated for me. And in just 3 weeks it gave me the confidence to build a simple website with html, css and Javascript.
The lessons are very clear and allow you to work at your own pace.
I have found coding very clear and simple with Matt and I am looking forward to continuing this interesting journey with Matt and SheCodes team. After these lessons, I can see myself as a coder!

My experience with the SheCodes Workshops has been amazing! I love that we get to work on real world projects and build a portfolio. I have had so much fun coding the weather app and getting to be creative with the styling and the different tools we've learned.
Its amazing how i always felt coding was so complex and probably something i would not have much interest in. December 2022 i decided to challenge myself into doing something outside of my comfort zone from a career perspective in 2023! Fast forward to February 2023 I am graduating for the SheCodes Basics course. I am confident enrolling for SheCodes was the best decision ever! Matts bite sized teaching strategy helped to keep me focused. I also appreciated the challenges that came with each lesson as they helped test my understanding in a practical way.
