I decided to come back to coding after doing so many other programs. I just could'nt get it. Until I saw an ad for SheCodes. That's when I knew it was a sign to join. SheCodes Basics was extremely exciting and fun to learn. Very easy to follow.

Feels really good to be actually completing the course. Definitely not easy but not impossible either,My coding journey doesn't end here its just the beginning.
I will say that as a person with no knowledge in coding, I found it to be an awesome learning experience with my teacher Matt Delac. I thought it would be boring and complicated, but this really changed my mind. The whole challenge made me want to put in more effort. I look forward to more coding experience with SheCodes.

It was a great three weeks course that taught HTML, CSS and Javascript and guided me to build my website from scratch. These three weeks of coding have been amazing! As someone who didn't know a thing about coding such as HTML, Javascript and CSS, this has been a great way to educate myself about modern technology. One of my goals this year was to learn a new skill and coding has helped me to achieve this! It seemed challenging at first and I didn't know what the ending to this course would be but I've fallen in love with the skills of problem-solving, logical thinking and new ways of creativity!
The SheCodes Basics workshop has been exciting and informative. I like the incorporation of homework and projects to help learn the concepts by creating personal projects. I'm excited to continue my progress with SheCodes in future workshops!

I enjoyed this workshop, I had no experience with code, and seeing how I was able to code the Final Project from scratch was a conquer! Matt's lessons are very clear and easy to follow. I recommend this workshop specially to girls with no background in code.

After this course, I've learnt the essential skills to build highly responsive websites and applications that look great on all sizes of screens and devices, including desktops, tablets and mobile phones. Combining the use of custom CSS and Bootstrap, I'm now one step closer to being a professional frontend developer and UI/UX designer.

The course was engaging and gave me a platform to unleash my creative potential. I was able to design a responsive portfolio website, which has broadened my understanding of building responsive sites. Using Bootstrap, Flexbox, and CSS utility classes are efficient methods to quickly create a responsive website. I am thrilled with the end result of my portfolio website and the newfound knowledge I have gained from the course.
This 3 weeks of coding have been fun! The classes and videos were very easy to understand. As a beginner with no knowledge about HTML, CSS or Java Script, I was able to build my first landing page. Matt is an outstanding instructor! He's very objective and clear in his explanation, the classes are divided in a way that makes the learning super fluid and fun! Despite having a solid foundation in HTML and CSS, I previously struggled with understanding JavaScript. However, Matt's classes, along with the engaging challenges that accompany a lot of classes, have turned JavaScript a lot easier for me.
I learned a lot in SheCodes Plus! It's so satisfying being able to put everything together to create an app. Things really started to click while completing Plus. Some things I struggled with, but I always knew I'd have a way to figure out the answer either through the resources, videos with Matt, or in the slack groups. I really enjoy the structure SheCodes provides. I'm feeling more and more confident.
This was the best and most practical coding workshop I have ever participated. Highly recommended!

I like the way the subjects are approached and the challenges are designed; we have to strive to complete them, and that turns into motivation to tackle all the required challenges.
I always thought that I need to learn maths to be able to code anything and I could never bring to live my projects and ideas until I did my free class, I instantly felt for the satisfaction or writing a code that works even though it was something simple. Now I am very excited for the next challenge that is coming!

I have to say that I REALLY LOVE this workshop! I appreciate that I get to apply the foundational skills taught in the earlier workshops and the advanced techniques learnt in the Plus and Responsive workshops. This opportunity of building my responsive portfolio made me fall in love with coding even more!
Learning to code was on my checklist and I am happy to check this off. I loved applying the learning from each lesson with an exercise, which also helped to remember them better. I loved that the course was flexible and allowed me to complete it at my convenience yet kept me motivated with weekly deadlines.
I got an opportunity to join SheCodes classes, just within 3 weeks I see a lot of changes in my coding journey than most institutions I have tried before. I can't wait to join the next three and have enough skills to join my fellow women in the Tech world.

A fun addition to the basics workshop. The basics add-on shows simple techniques that make a big difference.
From the very first day that I started learning coding with SheCodes, I was excited to build a website with multiple pages based on my design. Having participated in the SheCodes Responsive workshop, this goal has now been achieved. I'm looking forward to learning more about this field from SheCodes and deepening my knowledge.

This course was amazing! As an introduction into the world of tech , this was the perfect pace for me . The instructor Matt delivers the information in a way that simple and easy to understand. Being able to go back and watch a lesson was a huge comfort as well as being able to reach out for help through slack . I honestly give this a 10/10 and recommend anyone who is interested but sure where to start to take this class ! Imso happy I did , and I will be continuing to the next course after this one !!
