I had some experience with coding from my MySpace days, but finding SheCodes allows me to dive deeper to learn more about everything I can do. The challenges and homework are great ways to practice what I learn. I can't wait to continue with my following courses!

As a designer with an education in UI/UX and strong interest in front-end development, SheCodes Basic and Plus were valuable resources on my journey towards refreshing my knowledge of HTML/CSS and Git, as well as picking up new ones in JS, APIs, and more. The lessons were clear and concise, and I liked that the platform allowed me to view and review the SheCodes videos, notes, and other recourses at my own pace. The community is also inspiring, warm, and diverse. I enjoyed connected with a handful of SheCodes alumni as well as fellow students over LinkedIn over the past months. With the help of Matt and the SheCodes community, I feel supported and engaged in my journey towards a career in combined UI/UX and front-end development. I'm also excited to continue working on this project and alongside new ones, in the upcoming weeks!

Shecodes was my first approach to coding and I have to tell that it was so revealing for me. Another successful SheCodes workshop. Matt has made it so easy to learn how to code as well as troubleshoot so when you hit a bump in the road, you have the necessary tools to solve your own problems. Even if you get really stuck and don't know where to turn, Matts team members are always available to answer questions on our code as well as Athena the brand new coding AI bot.
I'm so glad I enrolled in She Codes. The structure of the workshops are fantastic, I love that I am able to learn when it suits me but with the discipline of a weekly deadline. Everything is explained well and you are given tools to further your learning if needed. Matt is a great teacher and you are given access to many modes of support so your questions and queries will never go unanswered. I really enjoyed the challenge that coding allows and it is great to have the support available at any time of the day. I still feel that there is a lot to learn, but have got a great base to continue my understanding of coding. Definitely will be continuing and learning more!

I really like SheCodes, and the Basic workshop was amazing.
This course taught HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, with fun little projects that kept me engaged and motivated. The instructors on Slack were knowledgeable, available to answer any questions I had and being able to talk to the community was great. The course provided a great introduction to web development and gave me the foundation to continue learning. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning to code and developing their web development skills.

I can't believe it but I actually coded an entire webpage! Every now and then I need to build a landing page for my job and while we use templates and software to help with the heavy lifting, understanding the basics of HTML and CSS has made my life so much easier... Especially when I want to make a simple tweak like adjusting an image size. The course is broken down into comprehensive bite-sized chunks. Solutions and examples really helped me along in practicing and completing homework assignments. I really like that Matt has created practical tools, and encourages us to be self-sufficient in solving problems by pointing us to helpful resources. Highly recommended for anyone in digital marketing, or has a website!
