This is a great course to get myself familiar with HTML and CSS fundamentals and boosted my knowledge in knowing the syntax that is used in HTML5 these days since I learnt the likes of XHTML during my Uni course and learning JavaScript through the workshop really boosted my understanding so working by handcoding or with Content Management Systems such as Wordpress would be a blessing so I can debug some code that was not working, etc. It is a great way the fundamentals to help you find suitable work with these skills and knowledge.
This was a really interesting and challenging journey. I have learnt many new things from this workshop.
I appreciate that this project helped me restore balance by reminding me of something I am passionate about. I now understand the trickier CSS concepts on a deeper level as well.
I had no idea of coding before starting this course, and now I know more than ever. I cant wait to get going to the next level soon and learn more on Shecodes.

My first 3 weeks with SheCodes has been quite the ride, I was very new to the world of coding with very little experience and there was a lot of information that I had learn and it was overwhelming, but I feel as though there is room for me to get better at this craft as long as I push myself harder. Matt was a great instructor, he was able to make me understand everything better and I am proud of my first project.

I had great experience using this platform. I tried other sources to learn how to code but none of them did it the way SheCodes did. After i watched the videos i understood everything much better and it didn't seem so complicated anymore. The assignements they give you after every subject are so helpful. U used what you just learned and put into practice right away.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the SheCodes workshop and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in coding and web development. The workshop was very interactive, which allowed us to have a lot of hands-on experience. We were able to practice what we had learned by building our own websites and projects. I also liked that the workshops provided us with helpful resources such as cheat sheets and reference materials, which I found very useful.

SheCodes Responsive was so much fun. I had fun doing every lesson, challenge and homework. It was particularly exciting opening a website on my phone and see that I made it responsive. Will definitely be using the knowledge acquired here on every other website I code.

I was recently at a point in my life of not having a clue what to do next. Having no real academic qualifications but plenty of knowledge and experience in many fields, I realised that the technological world is one I'm not great with, yet know it is essential for the future. So, I started looking for different career options and came across a free coding class by SheCodes. I was interested and intrigued immediately and, later that day, I signed up for the full lot!! - SheCodes Max. I am all in πͺ and super excited to get a new career going. SheCodes basics was a freshening reminder of the little coding knowledge I had. The way Matt explains things so directly and understandably, with technical but also, very understandable and non-technical explanations, just eased this right in for me. I had a bit of a harder time because of the little time I had to work on this, but as the course progressed, my passion for each challenge and homework increased, until I decided to be creative and have fun with my project as well. It was a challenge, trying to figure out how to exactly turn my idea to life, and I was able to! :) The help of all the tutors, the guide of Matt, and the realization that this is something I want to do from now on led me here, and I wouldn't change it for a thing. Taking this add-on after venturing into React for the first time in the React workshop was great additional practice for me. This mini workshop helped me cement React concepts (how components work and how they connect/how to troubleshoot) and made me more comfortable with applying this to my own projects. Seeing the instructor work out bugs on the tutorials (the thinking process and steps he takes) helped me with doing my own debugging. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the workshop SheCodes has to offer.
I have always wanted to do something in IT, but didn't know what until I came across SheCodes! I have really enjoyed learning to code. I am not the best with learning, I am more of a visual leaner, I can understand better with pictures and videos, and Matt has made it easy and enjoyable to do so! This workshop has pumped me up and ignited my mind and heart for the love of coding! π€©π

I started this course with zero knowledge or experience. There were times when I felt like an imposter but I took notes, referred back to them constantly, and rewatched videos. After watching myself apply the information I was learning, I was was truly amazed at how much I was retaining in such a short amount of time. I'm excited to keep going and learn more!

I signed up to SheCodes so that I could expand my knowledge on a brand new skill to me. Recently, I have realised that I was no longer learning anything new within my retail job so I decided to take on the challenge of coding and so far I am really enjoying it! I was skeptical as to whether I would understand anything but so far, I am impressed with how much I have learnt. Thanks to the in depth lessons provided by Matt, I have made a silly, but functioning page which I am pretty pleased about.
