The structure of SheCodes workshops is amazing. This is the first coding workshop that I've managed to finish and have a lot of fun doing it.
It was great learning to code through SheCodes, I have learnt so much which has been the foundation to my career change into tech.
Shecodes responsive is so far my favorite workshop. i learned so much and enjoyed every single part of it. Matt is a great instructor. It feels like a physical classroom at some point. i am excited and looking forward to the next journey.

Definitely cool and worthy experience! I dreamt to become a programmer but my parents insisted on linguistics education which I don't regret. But I always felt that I missed something. Fun way to learn programming!
As a student of IT courses, I recently attended an IT workshop and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The workshop was focused on the latest technologies and trends in the IT industry, and it was hosted by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the field.

It was really empowering to create my own portfolio website. I dream of doing this for a living and creating my website helped me to start feeling like a developer. I highly recommend doing additional reading and exploring on YouTube in addition to this course. This course is amazing for giving the basics, however, it doesn't cover topics like mobile-first development.

This workshop expanded my knowledge on coding, especially Javascript. Matt broke down every little bit into small section and explained them so well. This showed how everything is connected.
I would say just take the basics and then do another more advanced course that is not shecodes. These courses have no progression. I'm started getting taught at a fourth grade level and I'm still being continually taught in fourth grade level. Website continually disappoints me, it's not a very well working website. And anytime I've asked a question it was never actually answered , except for one time I believe there was a male who answered my question and it was answered correctly.
Love how much I am learning and its so satisfying to complete the challenges and homework. Miles away from when I first started with 0 coding knowledge! Thanks to Matt π₯°

I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I am now going to continue coding and maybe look into careers in the Tech industry. I'd highly recommend giving coding a shot, especially through a Shecodes workshop!

As a beginner to coding, this course is both comprehensive and enjoyable. The online community with Slack meant I always felt I had somewhere to go at anytime if I needed help.
