I never thought I would learn React, let alone learn it so quickly, in just a few weeks. I am very pleasantly surprised with this workshop and I believe it was the perfect point of entry into the coding world for me, and it made me feel ready and confident to learn more and more.
I have enjoyed SheCodes Plus. Its been an interesting few weeks learning JavaScript, I struggled a little but took my time and got a better understanding of the topics. Looking forward to the next workshop.

This was a great experience! Coming from a point of not knowing anything about coding, it was nice to have everything presented in such a friendly approach. All the lessons were focused on only one or two steps, so I never felt overwhelmed. I was able to see that I too can learn how to code.
my journey at shecodes started on the 19th of June 2023, it has been amazing, the workshops are easy to understand and their team is very helpful, I am thankful and I have gained so much from shecodes. Now I just submitted my web siteπ, I never thought coding could be this fun.

This project was really good fun, and it was interesting to build a useful app without using an API.

For almost a few years now, I have been wanting to learn coding, but I have struggled to find the time and motivation to do so. Furthermore, I was unaware of any organized courses for self-learning, and I found the idea of coding to be burdensome and difficult. However, I was fortunate enough to discover SheCodes, which has completely transformed my perspective on coding. Matt Delac's teaching method is exceptional, and he makes coding seem both enjoyable and easy to learn. I am amazed at how much I now enjoy coding, something I never thought possible. Previously, I had viewed coding as dull and boring compared to the colorful world of design, but SheCodes has completely changed my mind. I can't wait to learn more!
Right off the bat you are creating real life practical projects. The teaching style is so simple that it truly empowers you to know that as a beginner you can do this!!

I enjoy how React is like putting a puzzle together. The ability to chunk and section the code into components makes it much easier to work through and process.

The Basics course was absolutely amazing. Matt explains everything in a clear and comprehensible way even for absolute beginners. I was hesitating if learning this quick was indeed possible, but my progress in the past week has been more than what I hoped for. The team on Slack as well as other women in the course are super helpful and that matters too, especially if you learn from scratch like me. Really well done!

If you are wondering if you can learn to code around a busy schedule such as juggling a full-time job and attending children's school and sport activities, the answer is YES, you can! Lessons are divided into bite-size pieces. The instructor's micro-learning structure enables students to learn a little at a time and at their own pace. Lessons include tutorial videos and support along the way. When I began my course a couple of weeks ago, I was uncertain if I could really be successful. I am so grateful I stretched my comfort zone and gave it a try! It was so rewarding to see my finished product.
