JavaScript was initially challenging for me to grasp, but once I started practicing and building projects, everything started to click.

Great class for learning the basics!

A challenging yet an interesting workshop. I enjoyed it very much, and learned a lot along the way. Can't wait to start my next SheCodes workshop :-)

Very useful and interesting course.

After completing all the workshops, React was by far the most challenging! I have enjoyed each and every single one SheCodes workshop and cannot wait to start the add on projects! Matt and his team are amazing and cannot thank them enough for the great experience!!!

I enjoyed the three week basic course. It was a nice introduction to coding. I will say that I am glad I had taken some free HTML and CSS courses. It doesn't go as in-depth as I would have liked. But, it is a great intro and I loved the projects!

I think it's great to constantly be reviewing and learning new items to better improve your coding skills.

Great workshop after the last great workshop. It was fun and very useful to be able to incorporate every thing learned so far in a project that you can be proud of making! Thanks again to Matt and team for being there every step of the way so far. Thankful to have started learning here on SheCodes and will continue to do so. Look forward to creating more projects and learning. :)

This course was excellent and has a lot of educational and practical content. The teaching method was very good.

Day by Day I gain a lot from SheCodes learning. Challenges work for me that make me perfect. The most helpful skill is to get a deeper knowledge and understanding of JS. I am in the sky because I really feel like that now I have something that I can do everything. Sooo excited to continue to grow professionally at SheCodes.🚀🙌

This one was a bit challenging but having the team on slack is very helpful and useful. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to get into coding :)

Very easy to follow and straight to the point for beginners and experienced coders.

I liked the course a lot. In a short time, it gives a lot of information to start understanding how things work in coding. Matt is very clear in his explanation and I liked the fact that after every video there was a small challenge to use right away what you had just learned.

I never thought I could actually code, but SheCodes made it so easy ! So happy to have chosen this platform to learn this amazing skill! Can't wait to start the next workshop!

Thus far, I have completed the SheCodes Basics and Plus workshops and have thoroughly enjoyed both! Thanks to SheCodes, I have enhanced my resume and secured employment in the tech industry despite not having an academic background in a computer-related discipline. Further, because of the skills and knowledge I have gained with SheCodes, I have been accepted into a computer science master's program. SheCodes is an excellent launching point for anyone interested in pursuing coding to advance their career, regardless of their academic and professional backgrounds.

After completing the SheCodes Basics class, I started the add on class. It helped me to understand more about CSS and JavaScript. I'm so glad that I took the add on class to get the extra knowledge and practice with coding!

This was such an informative workshop, I would really recommend it to anyone who is serious about entering the tech workplace. I had a lot of fun doing this course.SheCodes gave me more confidence and knowledge as the curriculum is very complete. I always want to stay updated and know the latest technology. When I found "SheCodes" I got very interested to dive deeper and learn working procedures, devops, backend development, which could be difficult to learn on our own, but even during this first, basic course I have been able to push my limits. I really love that I'm part of a team, that I have someone that is reviewing my work, that I am able to ask questions, that I get very good at debugging (since I also can help other student's with their problems through Slack) and the lesson setup with just right amount of information to get me going on the right track. I'm looking forward to the next workshop.

This was such an informative workshop, I would really recommend it to anyone who is serious about entering into the tech workplace. Matt builds on things you have previously learned and teaches you how to take your work to the next level and make it more professional. The lesson challenges are fun and the end project is challenging but satisfying to create.

I like learning new things. I never knew I would learn and love coding. I was able to learn and create a simple website in 2 weeks. I would definitely see myself doing this as a job. This course is incredibly well-structured, and the lessons are broken down into manageable chunks that are easy to follow. I appreciated how the instructor took the time and explain each concept clearly in a way that was easy to understand, even if you had no prior experience with coding. The video instructions were straightforward and to the point. The Basic workshop is a breeze for anyone with prior coding experience. Despite being a beginner's level course, though, it does not dwell on any one topic and speeds through the necesssary knowledge. Even with some coding experience, I learned a few new things with how Javascript behaves alongside HTML.

Getting started in coding is easy with SheCodes. Thank you all for doing a great job.

SheCodes opens your mind and challenges you! I was very intimidating in the beginning but it really made me feel that I could do it after some classes. I was so intimidated by the idea of coding, but Matt explains it so well and there's such a great community at SheCodes! So many others are willing to help and share if you get stuck. I was never stuck for long and this course simplified coding! It made coding a lot less scary and a lot more fun.

Easy to follow, great lesson plan, keeps you motivated!

I'm extremely happy to see how my web portfolio turned out. Creating a beautiful and responsive website showcasing my work, fully coded from scratch by myself is a milestone reached. By completing this workshop I increase my skillset and become a full-on web designer and developer that is not only able to design a functional and delighful interface but to make it functional. This is definitely a great combo to have that I'll apply in my professional course.

This project pushed what I knew, and I plan to apply it to previous webpages so that I can build out my portfolio.

I am currently a Content Manager / Financial Counselor who is passionate about learning new things. I am a working mother and have been trying to break into web development for a couple of years. Many employers require an education in Computer Science or a Certification in Web Development, but I have neither. SheCodes has provided me with the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge at my own pace. I hope to enter the field as a Front-End Developer soon after graduating from SheCodes Max.

Very clear explanation step by step. Later videos also repeat things explained earlier. This ensures that you don't forget certain important things. It is also easy to follow with the examples next to it. It was also very nice that you can reschedule the deadline of your projects. This allows you to get to everything at a quiet time and learn everything really well without getting stressed about the upcoming deadline.

Thanks for the new knowledge, thanks for the great lessons. It was difficult, but very interesting! As a result an amazing final project 🔥

I found the workshops and lessons easy to understand, the format of watch, do, review is a really good way to learn. I think the workshops in general are competitively priced but time will tell if future employers accept these qualifications. Either way, it's a great introduction to coding.
