SheCodes Basics was the perfect course as an introduction to web design and programming. It was challenging enough without being too difficult, with interesting lessons and great layout to access previous lessons when needed. I feel I have a much better insight to the world of programming and can't wait to learn more!
React has both simplified and complicated designing websites for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the extra challenge that this course brought and feel that my websites, responsive or not, are much more sophisticated and professional looking as a result.
I signed up for SheCodes Max so that I could learn as much as possible about coding. So far I have loved the flexibility these courses have to offer and the fact that they are so user friendly! Looking forward to continuing onto the next course.

The React module really takes things one level up. The degree of complexity is definitely higher, but it's really rewarding to get to the end of the module with a fully working project and a lot of new knowledge.

This is the first time I've ever thought I could actually learn to code - and that I would really enjoy it! The lessons are really clear and well structured, the challenges are helpful and just the right amount at each stage and I've actually found that this is something I enjoy and lose track of time doing in a really good way. Thanks so much for demystifying the initial basics of coding - this is 1000 times clearer and better structured for learning from complete beginner level than most of the websites I've looked at previously to try and pick up some basics.

Remembering the Myspace days when I was so excited to modify the background html codes to make my profile pretty & just the way I wanted it, this was such an informative as well as enlightening bootcamp! I had tons of fun remembering pieces while learning the proper way to build and begin to interact with my page through Javascript. Now as I began taking my first couple of steps into the coding world, I have to say that the way SheCodes handles the learning process is very flexible and useful! I managed to learn new skills at my own pace and I was encouraged to go beyond what I was learning, which is always something worth noting and important to me.
Having completed SheCodes Basics, I couldn't wait to continue learning. I like that the videos are pre-recorded, so if I'm stuck on something I can pause, go back, and rewatch. I can go at my own pace. The flexibility is great, the lessons aren't too long so it doesn't feel overwhelming.

This course filled in the gaps from previous coding classes that I took. The instructor really explains the concept and tests your knowledge after each concept and at the end of the week you put everything together to show how these items work together in a real example. I have learned to start simple and then add my format and styling elements one piece at a time to understand where I have made errors and to easily fix them.
Fun project and easy step-by-step learning. I always enjoy the workshops.
Starting a project of making my own portfolio makes me excited for future project and career. Learning responsive techniques like Bootstrap etc is exciting tools.

It is getting more challenging this time, well that is the point of studying right? In this class you have to make a cool Weather App with real data. Do not worry! Matt and the SheCodes team are the best. They will help you with the homework but also the students in the group chat, they are extremely solid!

The SheCodes React Add-On was so much fun! I had a great time building a Dictionary App. It was a very similar experience to building the Weather App. This mini-project allowed me to practice my React skills further. Another project that I can add to my portfolio thanks to SheCodes!
