React workshop was both challenging and satisfying- as it helped to understand the procedures and structure knowledge along with an extremely understandable explanation of complex things in simple words.

The class provides hands-on learning, which allows me to understand at a faster pace. Matt explains concepts very well even to beginners. Athena AI is a great tool to quickly get feedback in real-time.

I had never coded before and I loved SheCodes Basics for it's short video lessons and exercises I could fit into my day. The workshop format is really fun. A good way to practice the learned skills and gain some extra knowledge

I am so happy I decided to try to learn how to code. I never thought it would be easy, but the course is designed for anyone who has never tried to code. The instructor Matt Delac is so informative, and the lesson is taught step by step. If you're undecided about joining, rest assured that you won't regret it.

I’ve always wanted to do something tech based. Ever since I was little I was always taking things apart and putting them back together and really learning and understanding how things worked and me being the person that I am I looked for ways to advance those things and what better way than to do that then with coding. Learning code has been a fun and challenging experience for me and I love it.

I liked a lot this weeks, I learned many new things, sometimes I felt fustrated about the meaning of comands or when to use them like
but I could solve it :)

I would definitely recommend this course if your are starting your career as a junior frontend developer, or to incorporate coding in your career and your resume, as there are tons of tips and very valuable insider-insights.

I've learned so much about code in just 3 weeks. I've learned CSS, HTML, and Java. I love that I can work at my own pace and that each lesson has a detailed video tutorial to walk me through the process. I am pleased with my experience.

Great workshop to learn React!

Quite challenging yet very interesting and fun course! I learned a lot :)

I'm a full-time employee, a mom of two toddlers, and an woman who struggles to find any spare moments in my day. I'm so proud of the skills I have developed through this program. SheCodes makes learning a new, challenging skill set engaging and incredibly gratifying. I hope my daughter sees my accomplishment and knows that she can do better- and does.

Learning the basics of React was fun to learn. In order to advanced my skills in React, I will continue to learn the native language and practice coding.

This workshop was definitely a challenging experience for me. Throughout the workshop, I encountered many new concepts and found myself facing several obstacles. However, I am grateful for the assistance and support that was readily available to help me overcome these challenges. Moreover, the lessons were presented in a clear and concise manner, which made it easy for me to grasp and understand the content.

I learned a lot about how to make a website responsive during this workshop. I now feel that I have a strong knowledge base to make any project responsive!

Doing the SheCodes Basic course was a perfect introduction into coding. It gave ample opportunity for exploration of the coding world and encouraged a good amount of independent work. This was a great course to get to grips with the basics of coding. The instructor is really excellent at delivering the lessons without the material becoming too overwhelming. He has a way of anticipating the questions you are probably going to ask and answering them before you need to ask. It is challenging - there is a sense that the website really is there to help train women and not just make money. The layout of the course is really excellent too. There is a lot of information, but it is presented in a way that offers help where it is needed. I would highly recommend this course for those curious about coding and those who want to take it further for a possible career.

I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. With SheCodes I had a different experience, our Tutor Matt made it so easy to understand all the concepts and I never had to battle with imposter syndrome like I did in the previous courses I took. I had a feeling I could understand all the concepts and I did, let’s not even talk about the lovely choice of colors that the SheCodes website has that is alluring and just makes you always want to visit at the thought of it. Thank you Matt for being such an amazing teacher, you are the best thus far and with you as my teacher, I am well on my way to becoming the best Software Engineer!!! I can highly recommend SheCodes! I had a lot of fun learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was easy to follow the instructions and I felt empowered with every challenge I completed. I was surprised to feel so engaged, creative, focused and at peace (besides small moments of frustration) once I sat down to code. It has been a blast, thank you SheCodes team!

The classes were very easy to understand and worth it.

3 months ago I thought coding would be too hard for me because I knew nothing at all but now I've built a weather app! I still can't believe I did that. Thanks to SheCodes plus I feel like I can build so many more projects and I'm very excited about future projects I'll be working on.

I enjoyed the course. The videotutorials are easy to follow and offer exactly what you need to start creating stuff. I feel like I've had a lifetime of blueviolet though, so I'm definitely going to be exploring different colours, too ;).

This project was a great testimony to all I have learned thus far and putting my work back in front of my eyes. I had a relaxing and at times challenging moments creating this project. Before this course, had no idea about coding. I have never thought that coding could be amazing and fun! Although it was hard, it was sweet and creative.

I would 100% recommend Matt's SheCodes Basics workshop to any and every woman interested in coding. This is a course for all ages, ability levels, and education levels. Matt is an outstanding teacher and skillfully breaks down each concept for easy understanding. I started as an absolute novice and thanks to Matt and his skillful TAs, coding concepts within CSS, HTML, and Javascript are now demystified and accessible to me. This course has been worth every penny. Happy to chat with anyone who is on the fence or not sure about this course....

Learned how to work with css-filters, css-grids, css-hero, html-embeds, html-tables and responsive-css-grids.

The SheCodes coding basics has really been a beautiful journey for me. I have learned a lot in such a short period of time and although I have very little time to dedicate to the course, eventually I completed the workshop and from here on the sky is not even the limit.

It was truly a challenging and rewarding experience. It had its moments of frustration, but seeing the project come to life makes you want to overcome the challenges and do your best. I had a gratifying learning experience.

I have been in the design field for almost 15 years. I needed to expand my knowledge of HTML, CSS, & JavaScript, as I am working towards being a UI designer, but I was so intimidated to learn how to code. I attended the free 60-minute class, and surprisingly it seemed pretty simple with how Matt explained everything. I was shocked and excited at how quickly I caught on with everything in the basics course. This course has definitely boosted my confidence! Now I really enjoy coding with HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. I can't wait to learn more.

I am a microbiologist and after the COVID19 pandemic started to wear down I noticed I did not want my whole life to be spent working in a lab. Having this amazing opportunity to increase my skills and be able to push myself to new environments has change completely my mindset. I feel incredibly grateful for this basic course and all the knowledge I have gained and I am very motivated to continue my SheCodes journey with the next workshops!

This course is so interesting and funny. Many hucks, useful techniques, and information. I especially like that in practical videos, Matt can make a mistake, fix it, and say that it`s normal. I think it`s important to understand that you can fix your mistakes and that you're not the only one who can make them.

The first phase of my Coding journey from SheCodes basics to SheCodes plus was so enjoyable! And my career exploration in web development with every passing week has been so exciting that I finished a three weeks course in two weeks. I am enjoying my learning journey and I look forward to the next phase of this course. Truly, it is so meaningful to find something that you really love doing. I love that I love Coding! 💃

For me, attending the software development session was a game changer. I was first hesitant to enter the realm of software development because I had little coding skills.
