The Basics course has been so much fun to complete. I really enjoyed how engaging the material was. The format of the course helps to solidify the concepts learned, and apply them into projects, which is such a great way of learning.

I loved working on this weather app and spending time learning how API, Bootstrap, GitHub, Git, and hosting really are. This took most of my time but it was all worth it in the end. I hope to learn more.
SheCodes was a wonderful experience. The videos were very easy to follow and easy to understand. Matt is correct that it is fun to try and figure things out how to make your code unique and fun. I can now look at a piece of code and get a general idea of what it means and how it functions. I still have a lot to learn, but the basics is great and I feel like I learned a lot!

SheCodes Basic Add-On was a little more complex but used very similar coding styles as Basic. You do learn more tricks to snag up a page and it was very fun to create something based on something I liked. Can't wait for the next round of learning!

I found most of the answers I needed from the Slack channel. I hope to bring this knowledge with me as a UX, UI, or Product Designer. The SheCodes Plus course taught me how to use Javascript in depth. It was a lot of fun building, designing, and then rebuilding the project. I feel like I have a great grasp on Javascript now!

I started the course with 0 knowledge, and throughout these past three weeks I have learned so much. I would never have thought I was going to ever create a small landing page someday and I am proud to say I did it. The classes are so easy to understand and I felt very supported throughout this SheCodes Basics journey. Can't wait to see what comes next!

The course is really immersive and requires repeat practice of the teachings through challenges; as such, I've been able to embed my learning and I have the confidence to independently seek out further knowledge from external resources as suggested throughout the course. I really enjoyed this course! Matt explained everything very clearly and having access to the videos 24/7 allows you to learn at your own pace, which is very helpful. The challenges were engaging and allowed you to apply and test what was taught in each lesson. I felt this was a very safe space to begin learning to code.

It was a bit challenging
I really enjoyed this basics coding course and had a lot of fun completing the lessons, homework and projects. The bite-sized lessons made it very easy to learn and the team was flexible with providing extensions when my day job got a bit busy. I am very proud of my final project and am considering continuing my coding journey with the SheCodes Plus course!

This was really fun! I liked that there were lots of examples of the code available so I could follow along and customise it where needed. The clock elements are quick complex but hopefully I will understand them better soon.

Learning to code has been exciting! I like how the courses are brief yet very clear on what we need to learn. You can go at your own pace if you need more or less time on a lesson. You have access to all the tools and materials needed for the class. No matter what situation you may be in, I'm so thankful to have found this. Being a mom of 3 and my youngest being 3 years old, I can still be successful and achieve this goal without having to compromise my time or schedule. Thank you!!

This course was very challenging it moved quite fast but I believe it intends for you to apply prior knowledge, so its a great way for you to identify the material you may need some extra time on.

This was a super fun way to learn grids! I've tried learning grids before but it just always seemed annoying and difficult. I'm very proud of what I ended up building and I can't wait to showcase this on my portfolio and show my friends and family what I made thanks to Matt's lovely explanation.
This has been one of the most exciting and inspiring courses that I have done where it not only taught me so much in such a short period of time but, also pandered to my need for instant gratification. I say this as throughout the course, the challenges allowed me to see the fruits of my learning almost instantly and this spurred me on to learn more. Exceptionally well-designed and structured, timely results, and overall an excellent course.
SheCodes has given me a better understanding of coding. After following the Basic course back in 2021, I didn't do anything with my learnt skills. Despite that, I was able to complete the Basic add-on course relatively easily and had a blast during . It's amazing to see that Shecodes is able to quickly offer in-depth insights into coding that will stick with you for years.
