Very important moment happened during learning .There was challenge and when I started to looking for solution ,I just became numb.This happened for the first time to me ,sometimes I get angry that it doesn't work out, sometimes I'm glad when everything works as it should.And that time there was emptiness, no ideas where to start, NOTHING at all.I sat down at the computer for half a day, looked at it, got up and cried, so passed half of my dayπ .Than I pull myself together, found words of support and here I continue my path further. The SheCodes Basic workshop is a fantastic way to get started in the world of Web Development. Coming from an education background myself, I really enjoyed Matt's teaching style and the way the workshop was broken down into fun and interactive chunks. This made it simple to follow and easier to understand the more challenging concepts. The workshop is very well organised and help is always at hand via the Slack communities. I am thrilled to share my experience with the She Code Responsive course. It has been an incredibly practical and enlightening journey that has transformed my approach to web development.
Understanding how React works, especially its component system, was a real challenge for me. Thankfully, with the fantastic guidance from Matt, I managed to grasp everything and create my own Weather Forecast, which I'm incredibly proud of! I'm also incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn coding fun and efficiently, all thanks to the SheCodes team.

Way back, I was just amazed by people who knew how to code, and now I couldn't believe that I was one of them. What a challenging but fun 8 weeks of coding! I definitely had days that were easier than others but with Matt's clear instructions and videos, I made it to the finish line and excited to jump into the next workshop! Thankful for the community of women in my workshop and the SheCodes staff that were so helpful whenever I was stuck during this amazing experience!
I am always amazed at my own abilities when I finish one of these workshops. I never imagined I'd be capable of building two apps now.

SheCodes was my first try at learning to code and I loved it! If I hadn't gone to their free seminar online I never would have discovered my love for coding and computer science. The lessons are well explained and the projects are enjoyable, at a good level for beginners. Would recommend it to anyone with an interest in coding who doesn't know where to start or is looking to upgrade their skills with one of the other workshops :)

Very good course! I enjoyed that it covered everything progressively, building up to a fully functioning app, hosted online. I also found that it had just the right balance of incentives to get you to keep going and progressing on the course without having constraining hard deadlines.

I had an amazing experience creating my own React word dictionary app! Working with React allowed me to build a dynamic and responsive user interface, while integrating APIs for word definitions and image searches added a real-world functionality to my app. The step-by-step guidance and support I received while developing the app helped me gain a deeper understanding of React components, state management, and API requests. The most exciting part was seeing the app come to life with each new feature I added. From displaying word definitions and phonetics to fetching related images, every step was rewarding. The app not only increased my coding skills but also enhanced my problem-solving abilities as I tackled challenges along the way.

In this course, I've learned the workflow of frontend development and how to utilize APIs, work with Git, and host websites and many other topics. It was so fascinating to work on the weather app project, although it was pretty challenging to make all the features work using the real data. I am so glad that I have finished my project and I am looking forward to learning more.
I really like the workshop. I think it gives people a general overview of how things work and then it is a matter of practice. Matt is an awesome instructor, he teaches each concept very clearly. The lessons are well structured. The mini challenges and the weekly projects really help in applying and better understanding the knowledge learnt from the lessons. There's also a technical team that is always ready to help with any technical questions one may have.
I have finished the React Workshop and I am really proud of myself. The SheCodes is the best! Clear explanations, good instruction, and support help me to finish the course and now I can create a website or a react application and it makes me so happy about it) thank you)
This project was definitely a challenge for me, but it was a good challenge. I had to step away from the workshop for a while due to personal reasons and ended up restarting the project once. However, the skills and tools I gained from the previous workshops as well as the easy to follow video lessons really helped me get back on track and complete the workshop without too many frustrations. Overall, I learned a lot through this workshop, and it was also fun to complete.
I missed the Add-on lessons and decided to start over again from the basics, as always there is something new to learn different from what the main course has to offer. Great jobπSheCodes team.
I did the basic program to see if i wanted to continue learning about programming. I enjoyed how you have to do challenges that set you up for your weekly homework assignments. I enjoyed everything about SheCodes and the challenges I had to learn to overcome. I enjoyed knowing there's a whole community to be able to rely on if I couldn't figure it out on my own. I plan on doing the SheCodes Max program next
I had another rewarding & challenging experience with this workshop. The courses are so informational and relevant to what we are building. Javascript is a lot to comprehend and I am excited to continue to practice and hone in on my skills! :)

As an absolute beginner who a has huge appetite for a career in tech but doesn't have an idea how or where to start from, I stumbled on Delac Foundation on google through my search for a perfect place where I could satisfy my appetite at my own pace. With just three weeks of learning, I could develop a basic landing and interactive page using html, CSS and JavaScript. The workshops are simplified, practical and very easy to grasp even without any background in IT. I have already recommended it to my friends who have interest in tech careers.
Before SheCodes, I've tried other free code camps/coding websites but was always left frustrated as I couldn't understand what I was learning or what I was doing. However, the step-by-step (very hand-holding) approach by Matt and his team has restored my confidence and helped me successfully build a webpage. My advice for new beginners who are eager to create: follow the instructions before getting carried away and wanting to build your own hobby project. Trust me. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.
