I was looking for an opportunity to change my career path and this course was a perfect to start that journey. The SheCodes course made coding much less intimidating to tackle in easy to digest lessons and with fun challenges. I have learnt so much in a short time!
SheCodes Basics was challenging however the support from the slack team made the process 10x easier, back to back remainders made sure you got the job done . This workshop taught me alot , a basic website requires so much detail and precision. Definitely a very challenging course but I think learning React is a valuable skill and knowledge to have and makes it all worth it. It'll get easier with time and practice but I enjoy how easy it is to follow along and that you're able to do it at your own pace.
I'm glad I signed up for the SheCodes Basics workshop. My knowledge of HTML has expanded tenfold, and I now have CSS and Javascript under my belt. I'm thrilled by what I've accomplished in such a short amount of time and can't wait to start SheCodes Plus.

I've been trying to learn HTML and CSS on and off for a few years. Every time I would dive into it, I would not finish because I found it to be too confusing. This course is laid out in a way where you learn very easily. You're learning concepts and how they work instead of memorizing functions. I really loved it and found it easy to learn HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I'm very excited to continue on and keep learning in the next courses. The basic course alone is well worth the money. If you're thinking about doing it, you should.

I was hesitant to join at first, thinking I'd learn from YouTube instead. But I'm very glad I finished the SheCodes course. Coding concepts were easily explained, and the challenges allowed you to test your knowledge and gain a better understanding. I'll definitely continue my coding journey with SheCodes.
The lessons are so well structured, they were incredibly easy to follow, with a good amount of leaving you to research certain things on your own. I will definitely be back for a more advanced course!

SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge because of the amount of new knowledge and techniques that needed to be applied to the final project. There is definitely a lot going on during those 8 weeks of workshop. So it is always good to take the time to go over the videos and challenges several times to make sure it is all clear. But it was great fun building the weather app and playing with API integrations.
It`s was not easy for me, but very very interesting and useful. Thanks for incredible opportunity to study new job.

I started learning coding with shecodes 3 weeks back. This was my first time I have never done coding before . Honestly I enjoyed every exercise given to me though they could be very frastrating. Matt's teaching style is awusome,I loved the group or channel that i could join to ask for help.Those channels were very helpful,they made the begining of my coding jounery very easy. SheCodes is user friendly and so much fun. Just 3 weeks ago, I had no knowledge about coding, and I was not sure if it was something I was prepared to learn. So far, SheCodes has been a great program to learn, apply, and execute effective coding practices using standard workplace coding software, VS Code! I enjoy that classes are self paced, allowing me to work on challenges and projects on my own time. They also provide various resources aside from Google, such as the Slack channel, to assist me whenever I'm stuck while coding!

It was a great learning experience. The concepts were explained to me well, in short lessons, which made it easy for me to understand. The tasks/challenges helped me apply the knowledge I gained from the video, which also helped me retain what I learnt from each lesson.

I love this project-based learning approach. You can see the real-life application of what you are building, which makes it more fun to learn more about other features that you add to make it better. Google anything you don't know or remember π. Creating this App with friends in mind made it even more fun to learn.

An ex airline staff, a mother of 3 with a long career gap wanted to pursue my career by doing a transition to IT. I was in search of a learning platform a strong floor where a person like me without any IT background can take my baby steps with confidence. That's when i found SheCode. I graduated from my SheCodes Basic last year and today it feels amazing to be finish the SheCodes Plus. An excellent course and has definitely sharpened my skills as Front end but also my Javascript knowledge improved greatly since I completed this workshop. Matt is a fantastic teacher, I found each module to be highly informative and the assignments good fun.
The project incorporated many of the skills required to build an actual website for a client. It was extremely helpful to watch the instructor, Matt, break down the project into smaller pieces. That in itself is a valuable skill when working on larger projects. It was rewarding to see that the website was responsive on multiple devices. Now I need to go back and make my earlier projects responsive!

So far so good, I'm loving it. The material isn't as challenging as I would have imaged it's very easy to catch onto. The lecturer speak slowly and clearly and because you the constant exercises that are thrown in I'm able to catch onto the concept quite easily. I'm loving it so far

This was a funny project, I made an AI vegetarian recipe generator with basic ingredients we can find at home. It is very basic but it is useful.
This was such a good exercise to deepen the knowledge from the Plus workshop.
