I absolutely loved my experience with SheCodes! The course was incredibly well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone like me who had no prior coding experience. It was an exciting experience that helped me with focus and determination. Tho i struggled at some point but i have pulled through. The instructor explained really well, classes were not stressful because the lectures were well taught. The projects and challenges were engaging and gave me a real sense of accomplishment as I progressed through the course. The highlights for me was the final project, where I had the chance to build a website from scratch. It was challenging, but incredibly fulfilling to see my ideas come to life through code and gave me opportunity to learn better ways to codes. One of the amazing things about SheCodes is the community and being able to reach out to others when you need help and they are ready to help. It has given me a push for a great career ahead. I had a great time working on this project. It allowed me to learn vanilla javascript in-depth and make a fully functioning project on it.
The hardest one yet! Getting my dictionary to work required some frustrating moments, but I am so proud of it!
Another amazing add-on, that built on the main react workshop and allowed to polish my skills. Absolutely worth the time of the extra two weeks. The more I work with React, the more fun I have. I had so much fun learning about CSS, HTML and JavaScript using CodePen and VS code. I am extremely impressed by the progress I have made and all the knowledge and understanding I have gained from this course as an absolute beginner who had no prior knowledge about coding. I was able to build an interactive project in just 3 weeks of learning how to code. This course made learning fun, I am so excited to learn more code. #girlsInTech
SheCodes AI Add-On was quick, fun and taught me a few new tricks. It really amazes me how intelligent AI is and I'm happy I was given a chance to build a project for portfolio that was focused on this new age technology. 10/10!

It was tough but I had fun and I learnt a lot but I'm mostly in grateful for the experience.
I've just completed the basics course and I've really enjoyed it, it has been a great challenge. It took me longer to complete it than I anticipated, but being able to go back and rewatch the lessons was really helpful. I feel proud of what I've managed to create, two weeks ago I wouldn't have imagined I'd be able to build a simple webpage and actually understand the process. Thanks SheCodes!

Gaining hands-on experience with popular front-end frameworks and tools, learning how to create flexible and fluid layouts, implement media queries, and optimize images for different screen resolutions. Has been such an amazing experience and I have overall enjoyed creating my personal portfolio and making my other projects responsive .

I've recently completed the react development course from SheCodes.io, and I'm so glad I did! The course was challenging but also engaging and enjoyable. SheCodes has been a wild jorney! I sure didn't expect to be as cool and as challeging as it was, and the best part of it it's to look at what you did during the program: the pages and pieces of code you just never expected that you'd be able to do. Matt is very didatic, the classes are short and the homeworks are fun. Besides, the Final Project (bit harder than you may think it) is challeging enough to test your abilities while letting you feel free to be all creative and just have fun while seeing your abstract ideas becoming something solid. I loved it every single minute of the program, and all the work done was very fun (and difficult). I am excited to keep on learning!

I have not coded since about circa 2000 when I was on myspace. I have a few girlfriends who are in tech. One of these friends has pushed me in particular in the last year. I've had a great time during the three weeks rekindling a passion I had for learning to code. This class was perfect length and price to see if I wanted to pursue coding further.
This was such a great workshop. Quite challenging but I loved the feeling after every lesson I completed and understood.

I did not have a working laptop for almost a year and I had to keep moving my start date. Finally my laptop started working and I moved my start date to the 1st of January 2024 to start the new year off. I have enjoyed these last 3 weeks, a little challenging and frustrating but enjoyable nonetheless.
Starting these workshops is always intimidating but I am constantly pleasantly surprised at how challenging it is but also so figure-outable. Matt is a great teacher, the slack community is great and now we have athena our own personal AI assistant. It is challenging but there are so many ways to help you through it. So it ends up being quiet exciting and encouraging to be a shecodes student.

This was my second attempt in my lifetime at learning how to code and I have never made it past HTML. SheCodes teaches bite-sized lessons with easy to follow material. Each lesson builds on the next so you will understand how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interact with one another. There is plenty of support via Slack. I would HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone interested in building a strong foundation.
