The Basics course is such a great introduction for someone who has very limited background in coding. The instruction is easy to follow along and presented in a very user friendly way. The practice activities helps to deepen your understanding of new concepts. The support of the SheCodes team as well as the collaborative feature with other participants makes you feel supported every step of the way. I look forward to advancing my knowledge in the near future! 👩‍💻

being able to create websites has been fun and exciting

I have always feared JavaScript but on the third attempt I have come to enjoy JavaScript so far.

Thanks to the funding i received from SheCodes, i was able to learn HTML,CSS and Java coding Basics. I enjoyed this course a lot and i am looking forward to the next courses. The course was extremely well structured. I was able to create a little website from scratch and i enjoyed it throughout. Thank you.

I loved completing this program. There is still more to learn as this is just basics but I feel as though concepts were simplified, executed repeatedly and explained well which allowed me to understand what was being taught. I would recommend this to any women who's looking to start coding. I would also like to point out that three weeks is the right amount of time and you can complete tasks/ challenges in adequate timing without burning yourself out. There is also an abundance of resources that are also a great help.

This course challenged my knowledge and helped me fully dive into the beauty of planning and research while working on a project. The lessons were properly planned out and contained enough information to allow great understanding.

I really enjoyed this workshop and learnt a lot about CSS! I had a lot of fun designing this page and seeing my design come to life using CSS and HTML.

Very easy to follow!

SheCodes is an amazing way to learn coding! I'm a university student and just started to work full-time and this program still allows me to increase my knowledge gradually by provinding straightforward, understandable courses on the side of a busy schedule!

Matt really goes in depth during the lessons and the projects are perfect to add to your portfolio as you grow and practice more code.❤

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that without SheCodes, I wouldn't have been able to make a new competing challenge in my life. They made it to change my interest to the coding-world and brought me a new hobby.

I enjoyed learning with SheCodes. I learnt how to make a weather app using api. The plus course is fastpaced towards the end but it is easy to understand. Recommended👍

The course was very challenging but provides a good introduction to React. I learnt a few tricks along the way such as using other SVG icons, looping and refactoring, but lots of replaying was necessary and definitely still lots to learn & get used to when writing code with React!

SheCodes Basic was awesome! Learning to code opened up a whole new world for me. The lessons were straightforward, and even though JavaScript posed a bit of a challenge, I found the learning process enjoyable. Big thanks to SheCodes for the support.

It's definitely a great complement to the Plus workshop, and creating a World Clock project was a lot of fun!

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. There were times when JavaScript became a bit overwhelming, however, I'm glad I got through it as I learned a lot in this workshop.

I enjoyed every bit of coding and learning REACT using multiple APIs. This workshop was a advanced form of React. I have learnt a lot through SheCodes workshops. Looking back to my first day of SheCodes to today, I think I have become a good coder and have gain more knowledge and confidence. Thank you SheCodes team and instructor Matt.

The HTML, CSS, and JavaScript workshop was a breeze, and I easily grasped the basics. The well-organized structure helped me pass with ease, and I now feel prepared for more in-depth workshops.

I've LOVED learning with SheCodes, I've tried other platforms but this made it so fun, easy to understand and I felt I actually applied what I learnt to a project.

I have been wanting to learn how to code for a while, but I never knew how/where to start. I bought the basics workshop on Black Friday to give it a go and see if I liked it... I LOVED IT! Matt explains everything excellently and simply, making the learning process even easier than expected. I can't waitstart learning and expanding my knowledge.

I had a lot of fun building this project and showcasing my hobby of reading! I especially appreciated the Javascript functionality that was taught. I intend on adding buttons to toggle the color theme into my future projects so that users with color vision deficiencies are better able to view my work.

This was so much fun and challenging to do. I have a stronger skillset now for sure.

This was a very interesting workshop and I really enjoyed building a responsive website!

This was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. I took the free webinar last week and was instantly hooked. I signed up for SheCodes Max and can't wait to see everything else that SheCodes has in store for me. It's super easy to follow along, there's help when you need it, and the community is wonderful. I can't recommend this enough.

Really complicated but fun challenge to build a multi-page website on any topic of your choice, using all the knowledge we've learnt so far to implementing and testing responsive web pages. Great learning curve!

Probably the hardest coding workshop (so far) of the SheCodes series but as enjoyable as it is challenging. Looking forward to practicing those new acquired skills.

SheCodes Plus was more challenging than I was expecting. Which makes me even more happy and proud of myself for finishing it. Every class is a new learning and each week is more rewarding than the previous one.

The most challenging workshop so far, but incredibly interesting. Take a deep breath and make sure you have time and patience, because this is going to be quite an emotional rollercoaster. You'll find yourself stuck for stupid things, or things that you believe are out of your control. Keep searching, reading your support articles, and search in the support chats for similar problems. Eventually, you'll find you have learnt how to unstuck yourself, and this is a very valuable skill to have. Have fun & enjoy coding!

I did not know much about javascript but the mentor just made it easy for me to pretty much understand all the basics within the 3-week course. I just cannot wait to continue with the other workshops and it is all thanks to SheCodes!

This was a great challenging course. I learnt a lot from the videos and the final project itself. I can confidently say my coding skills have developed a lot.

Knowing I understand every line of code it took to build this app is so rewarding!!! The level of reasoning combined with trail & error it took to build will help immensely with future learning and understanding. The AI add-on workshop was AWESOME. I had a lot of fun building my final project! The workshop taught me new techniques while building upon what I learned in SheCodes Plus. This project was a challenge and I loved every second of it. I am proud to show my final project to my friends and family, and am looking forward to using it myself in the future.

i enjoyed the course but not sure the basic package is for beginners as lots of the skills needed for the challenges you have to figure out yourself as not in videos.

I learnt good CSS techniques on SheCodes Responsive which allowed me to upgrade one of the first project i've created. I'm very happy with the result and very impressed on how much I improved my coding skills from SheCodes Basic up to this course.

SheCodes Plus was amazing! A deeper dive into the fundamentals of JavaScript and learning about API's. Looking forward to continue learning with the next lessons and challenges.

SheCodes Basics was a fantastic course to complete. I learned the basics of CSS, HTML, Javascript and completed the course in a short period of time, only 11 days.
