Really fun course and good to refresh as I've not coded in a long time. Computer stopped working in middle of project and had to reboot windows but managed to get a extention and finish. Would highly recommend SheCodes as it laid out in a great way for learning and Matt is a excellent teacher.

These past three weeks have been nothing but a great way to learn an exciting skill. Challenges were there, but learning with SheCodes made things easier.
It was quite a challenge to build a weather app from scratch and get the API working, but fortunately, everything was clearly explained, and I could refer back occasionally when something didn't work. I'm super happy with the result! I also learned a lot throughout the process.
Working on the AI poem generator project has been very rewarding, it is one of my favorite projects so far!

This workshop has been quite eye-opening as Matt showed us how much hard work goes into coding a website from scratch and he demonstrated in real time the challenges that coders have to overcome on a daily basis. I found this a really insightful workshop into the daily work of a coding professional. In terms of skills, the workshop built upon my previous knowledge and helped me create my very first and rather professional-looking website that works on all devices. SheCodes add-ons are a fun way to put yourself to practice. You can follow the lessons to build the project or just try to figure it out yourself based on what you already learned from the other lessons. I did the latter. It's interesting to see how you can figure out something completely different than the suggested solution.
The content of the workshop was presented clearly and concisely. The instructor covered a wide range of topics, ensuring that even the most intricate details were explained understandably. The workshop struck a perfect balance between theory and practical examples, making it easy for me to grasp the concepts. This project was a lot of fun, and have a good idea of how complex larger React projects can be, as well as some (much needed) practise in using states, functions and props. I've actually come to enjoy React, it's quite nice to divide your code up into sections. I think I'll definitely need to supplement with some additional study, but it was an excellent introduction to React.
As someone who barely knew where to start with coding, this workshop was like a guiding light. We were lucky to have Matt who broke down complex concepts into easily digestible bits. Another workshop that taught me to much. I appreciate the flexibility to choose my own topic. I choose to create a website dedicated to pet rescue. Many of my family and friends are involved in or adopted from rescue groups. I wanted to showcase them so all the animals in the pictures were adopted/rescued/fostered by my friends and family. I learned how to embed social media into landing page which will hopefully increase the visibility of the animal rescue groups. I also learned about adding filters directly from the css which made modifying the images a bit easier to fit with the color scheme of the site. As always, the instruction was so well done, teaching not only the information but the process of coding. Thank you Matt and SheCodes. Another well designed workshop.
This was very fun for me. I have previously tried a little bit of coding, but nothing like this. And this workshop made me more interested in starting a career whithin coding and programming.
