Hello everyone, firstly thanks to SheCodes for bringing this platform to all those who don't have any knowledge of programming language. All videos are nicely made, easy to understand. Frankly for me as a beginner was difficult to implement when really building any page. I found some exercises easy to do and others really head scratching so I had to watch those videos many times to be able to solve exercises. The guidance we got from the videos are incredible. I am grateful to have been accepted. This is an opportunity, I will always be grateful for, when I got accepted, I didn't start immediately, I kept on pushing my starting date forward because of school work, that is one of the things I like about SheCodes, it allows you to start at your own convenient time. I started but I couldn't complete the basics, I felt sad, I wanted to quit but thanks to my friend who encouraged me. The learning process has been fun, I love the fact I get to see what I am creating, I hope to go deeper, learn more and become the best front-end developer.

The experience was so amazing, I have learnt a lot in regards to my technological abilities. My experience with the Delac Foundation was incredibly challenging however I was up for a good challenge. This workshop gave me the clearest introduction to coding I could imagine! I alaways used to think coding would be super complicated, but I've learned now that it's all about logic and it has to be as easy and clean as possible.

It is lovely to learn how to space and fit all the elements together on a page to make the page look beautiful ! I absolutely enjoyed this workshop !

This module has been pretty challenging but very interesting and rewarding. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone with no previous experience of coding, as the courses are extremely well structured and the explanations are clear, the support team is always very helpful and the learning experience very enjoyable!

I'm glad to report that after learning everything from SheCodes, I can now confidently create a website from start using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, together with bootstrap and font awesome, without any anxiety.

The Basics Add-on was a great addition to the Basics Workshop! As always, Matt's videos were easy to follow along.

About the Workshop: My experience with the React workshop was both enriching and challenging. Sometimes it felt the workshop's pace was occassionaly fast but yet was still highly informative. About the project: despite its familiarity, felt yet so different building it with React. The framework's features and structured approach showcased numerous advantages over traditional JavaScript, which made it very exciting for me. About the community: A big thanks to our tech support, that they always had an answer for me when i encountered issues :) Next Steps: While the material was at times intricate, I feel the importance of revisiting the workshop to solidify my comprehension and acquire additional knowledge before progressing with the last two workshops :)

I gained deeper insight into the complexities of JavaScript by taking part in SheCodes Plus and had an incredibly enjoyable time programming my weather app. Even though some aspects of JavaScript are still not easy to grasp, I have noticed a notable improvement in my understanding. The ability to work on challenging projects and feel a sense of accomplishment at the end was a genuinely motivating experience.

I really enjoyed going through all the lessons and the challenges. There is a sort of satisfaction to check the little web page that I have created. It gives me more motivation to focus to better the skills by following the lessons and also by browsing different solutions on internet. The explanations are so clear. Thank you very much.

As a novice in coding, I would like to express my gratitude towards the Delac Foundation for significantly aiding in the clarity of my understanding. The challenges presented in the program have proven to be exceptionally beneficial to my learning experience. Additionally, I appreciate the teaching style of our instructor, who has effortlessly created an environment reminiscent of a traditional lecture hall, making it conducive for me to grasp the concepts as if he were physically present beside me.

The API lessons were incredibly well-structured and easy to follow upon several practice. Diving into Vanilla JavaScript was not easy ..well sometimes frustrating when stuck. It required a lot of concentration while learning from the SheCodes modules, and it also demanded a significant amount of practice. There were many times when I thought, "Aha, I have understood the concept," but when I tried to code, I got stuck. This prompted me to go back and watch the videos and read related code snippets that had been provided. I appreciate what I have learned so far at SheCodes; the modules are well-paced and well-elaborated. I look forward to the next workshops and continue practicing to further mold my understanding. The 8-week SheCodes workshop has been nothing but transformative. From learning about the advanced page animation techniques using JavaScript to integrating APIs into my very own code to fetch real data. This course helped me understand some of the work dynamics that developers are exposed to as I was also taught about the code management tools used in web development and how one can utilize them. Honestly, it has been the best experience thus far and it is all thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team.

SheCodes is a great platform to learn front-end development. The lessons are designed in bit size chunks that are easy to comprehend and the challenges are intriguing. I have learnt more in SheCodes on web development than everywhere else including other bootcamps.

I had a beast of a time on this one but that made it all the more rewarding in the end. I really had to take my time with the final project and review the tutorials a few times before I got it working. The support staff was amazing as always. I had a wonderful time in this programme. Highly recommend.

This was a great opportunity to learn about AI and the project itself was quite fun.

I saw an ad for SheCodes on Facebook as I had been looking into taking a coding class to see if it is something I would like exploring as a career. After watching the intro, I decided to take the plunge and dive into the beginners course. I definitely learned a lot and found some elements challenging, however, I enjoyed the learning process and feel like dipping my toes in has helped me get an idea if whether or not I want to take the big plunge of going through the other courses. SheCodes made the learning easy with the videos and opportunities to apply skills with each lesson. Thank you SheCodes! We'll see if I'll be back in the future :)

Living in the fast-paced and ever-changing world of AI, this add-on was a great addition! Not only did it provide some AI fundamentals, but we left with practical, applicable skills and the ability to inject AI into our own projects going forward.

Hello,i'm Phillipa and my journey so far has been quite interesting actually.First of all,my motivation behind my interest in coding stems from a profound fascination with the power to create and innovate.As i delved into the world of tech,i realized that coding isn't just about creating lines of code but of building functional pages;pages that can be used by various kind of people as they carry on with their daily duties online.So far i have come across different challenges but i am grateful for the brief but clear videos that have been created by Matt. At least now i have a better understanding of the different concepts that i came across in this level. Yes i made mistakes and almost gave up but i realised that nothing comes easily,especially if it's something that you've always dreamt of learning and growing with. In essence,my motivation behind my interest in coding lies in the belief that it's a tool for empowerment, a catalyst for change, and a gateway to endless possibilities.

This workshop helped me learn Bootstrap and responsive web design. The course doesn't go into a lot of detail but helps you get the basics.

SheCodes has truly been an incredible journey! Coding always seemed like this hard and mysterious world , but the lessons at SheCodes have demystified it for me (fingers crossed I'm not speaking too soon, haha!). The lessons are not only manageable but also come with challenges that let you apply what you've learned. The best part? The videos are available 24/7, so you can rewatch them as many times as needed. A big shoutout to Matt Delac and the fantastic SheCodes team for making coding an enjoyable experience!

Embarking on the project was an exhilarating blend of challenge and enjoyment! Observing Matt Delac's coding techniques was enlightening, and attempting to replicate them proved to be an educational adventure. Crafting content about Brussels while mastering elements like Hero, Footer, Cards, Grids, Embeds, CSS Filters, and HTML Table added a dynamic and creative layer to the learning experience. This endeavor not only enhanced my coding proficiency but also fueled my enthusiasm for tackling diverse and exciting web development aspects.

I learnt a lot of cool stuff in the past few weeks. The workshops were very interactive and very easy to understand. The challenges were very thought-provoking and I enjoyed working on them.

It was a really good experience. The course was so understandable and it made coding such an exciting experience. I enjoyed learning and it was not overwhelming at all. Loved it ! Can not wait to venture into the next courses.

I have learned so much throughout these workshops! The way everything gradually builds on top of what you've already learned is amazingly user friendly. I enjoyed creating the generators in this set of workshops and working with AI.

Clear explanation

I was wondering if coding would be something that I would like. This is the reason why I joined the 3 weeks basics course and I must say that I really enjoyed it and now I am hooked! I find it to be very educational and challenging at the same time. The course is well structured and Matt explained it in a very understandable way. Which made it easy for me to follow.

I started this workshop as an absolute novice, now I am able to write code without even referring to anything. The experience has been absolutely amazing. Matt is such a wonderful instructor. If you told me that I would be coding a year ago, the village girl in me would laugh in your face. The Delac Foundation has made it possible for me to learn coding. I am even more excited to dive into the SheCodes Plus workshop.
