I loved using basic CSS and JavaScript to change the interaction, responsiveness and look of my landing page.
I enjoyed leaning the shecodes basics and it seems a bit hard at first but don't be negative, just keep your head high and continue learning until it gets better. And always remember that it's okay to ask for help and to make mistakes .

SheCodes Plus was a a bit challenging for me at first but became such a rewarding experience. I learned alot, especially a more in depth knowledge in JS. I feel more confident with JS functions and better grasp its purposes. I enjoyed learning about API integration, Git, GitHub and Netlify and how they make a web application functional :) All very intriguing, I am looking forward to the next courses.

I am thrilled to share my outstanding experience with Basic Code Programming, an exceptional platform that has completely transformed my understanding of programming. As someone who was initially intimidated by the world of coding, Basic Code Programming has proven to be the perfect gateway into this exciting and dynamic field.
I wanted to share with you a personal experience that includes the ups and downs of learning to code, a trip filled with hardship, tenacity, and inspiration at the end. The world of coding appeared intimidating to me when I initially started down this route because it was full of complicated algorithms and strange vocabulary. Every code line felt like a piece of a huge, complex mosaic, and I frequently struggled with self-doubt and irritation. But in the midst of the fight, I realized something important: resilience's beauty. I discovered that growth frequently results from uncomfortable situations, and I learnt to enjoy the process with every error message and setback. Therefore, I encourage everyone who is considering learning to code, regardless of experience level, to welcome the challenge because it is only through hardship that we actually mature. Keep in mind that every line of code you write is an evidence of your tenacity and resolve, and that the opportunities are endless if you persevere.

I have had a great time with SheCodes Basics! As a total novice, I am now obsessed with learning how to code. I had attempted various online classes in the past, but I quickly lost interest, became frustrated, and became bored, so I stopped soon after I started. Learning was enjoyable and I was able to set my own speed with SheCodes.
Really enjoyed the responsive course. I feel like I understand how websites are made and their structures a lot more now. Looking forward to learning about React next!

I had tried wrapping my head around coding for a long time and even worked on some data science projects at work and university. I felt defeated because I found coding too complex and thought that the world of software development was a dream I could never pursue. I challenged myself to try coding just one more time and attended the SheCodes Introduction workshop. I was shocked at how easy to grasp the concepts were and how much I enjoyed the way Matt (my instructor) explained concepts. I felt for the first time that my dream of transitioning into software development was a real possibility. The lessons were ADHD-friendly (which was very important for me as an ADHD girlie!) as they were bite-sized, self-paced, aesthetic and interesting. Needless to say, I find myself coding for fun at night, which I never thought I'd say. If you're on the fence, please try the course; you won't regret it!
There's been many challenges, but the overall experience of SheCodes Basics has provided me with much confidence going forward. The way the lessons are set up and how Matt teaches coding makes everything much less challenging. I'm excited for the next course.
AI seems like one of the latest hypes in the digitization and it is so interesting to learn how to integrate it into a website. It definitely has a lot of potential and the way Matt is showing it to us, it seems accessible even for beginners which is again highly motivating. Thank you SheCodes!

This was a fun little workshop. It was perfect to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JS. It got me excited about web development and prepared me for a six-months long web development bootcamp that I enrolled in after this SheCodes workshop.

SheCodes Plus introduced more JavaScript capabilities, which is more serious than the previous course. Still, my interest is growing and I try to strike a balance between challenging and achievable. I had to make this course in a longer time due to personal reasons and I am grateful for this opportunity.
The SheCodes Plus workshop was a bit more advanced and challenging compared to Basics. However, the instructor, did an exceptional job of breaking down complex concepts into digestible chunks, making the learning process enjoyable and accessible. The support provided by the SheCodes team throughout the workshop was outstanding. Whenever I encountered challenges, they were quick to respond and offer guidance, ensuring that I stayed on track. One of the highlights of the workshop was the final project, where I had the opportunity to apply everything I learned to create a real-world web application. This project not only allowed me to showcase my newly acquired skills but also boosted my confidence as a developer.
I am so glad that i chose to take SheCodes bootcamp. The information is so much easier for a person from a non-tech background to understand. This is only the beginning!

At first, I found the React class to be quite challenging, to the point where I almost considered quitting. Despite not fully grasping every concept immediately, I am incredibly grateful that I persevered through the difficulty because it was undeniably worth it. The challenges I faced throughout the course ultimately made me a stronger developer, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have learned and grown through the SheCodes React class.

This SheCodes workshop taught me so much about React and gave me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone in my coding. Whenever I felt like my head was spinning, I took breaks and let the information sink in (something that is incredibly important). I cannot wait to start the add-on project for this workshop as I had a lot of fun building the final project application.
The challenges are hard but trust me when i say learning coding with SheCodes is the best they make learning fun for you by making you understand and letting you try and correcting you at the end .

SheCodes Plus is an exceptional workshop that enabled me to delve deeply into crafting dynamic lines of code, resulting in the development of responsive and fully functional applications. I completed a basic module of coding at university a number of years ago which I enjoyed yet I fully didn't understand it and how all the elements of coding languages interacted with each other. Now having dipped my toe back into coding with SheCodes, I have found exactly what I am looking for. Step-by-step videos which explain each topic with a short challenge using this knowledge, building your knowledge gradually. You have all the lessons to refer back to, the Slack community and also SheCodes Athena AI to assist you whenever you need it. Although at times it was challenging, it enabled me to go back, re-try and check my code and it's the best feeling when it loads and works which you have solved yourself! I really enjoyed creating the final project and definitely keen to look into coding further. Thank you Matt for all your lessons and the SheCodes team!
Taking this course is one of the wiser decisions I have make for my career. SheCodes Plus was challenging for me but I felt better when Matt mentioned that this is advanced stuff so to introduce it to us now will only prepare us for what is more to come. At the end I felt so proud of myself for getting through it and not giving up.
I used to stress out whenever thinking about anything coding related, but that has all changed ever since I joined SheCodes . This basics training has changed how I view programming as a whole. I believe there's still more I am going to learn and master with time.

I really enjoyed taking the course. I have learnt so much from these first 3 introductory weeks. I have gotten so, so comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
