It was an interesting 3 weeks of learning how to code basics!
Lessons were thorough and worked for my busy schedule! I was able to learn the basics of coding without needing to pay a lot of money and Matt goes at a pace that makes it easier to understand. Assignments were fun and this made me feel like coding can be enjoyable!
I loved SheCodes because I was able to complete the course at my own pace, but there were still deadlines so I couldn't ever let myself get too far behind. It was perfect for my busy schedule. The teacher was clear and the course materials were easy to understand. I am so glad I took this class. I feel prepared for my journey into data analytics and web development!
I had a blast doing this workshop! I learned so much and was able to make my very own Portfolio website thanks to SheCodes. I've learned so many new things and can't wait to use them in the future!
SheCodes Basic taught me the skills necessary to be able to do basic coding, and also built enough of a base for me to continue to grow my skills on my own.

Another adventure with SheCodes and I am really glad with my evolution. After so many challenges seeing my portfolio done is very rewarding. I am ready for my last workshop and eagerly excited to start my career as a Front-end developer.
I've been looking at many options for learning coding but could never decide where or how to start. I began self learning through books but always felt so stuck and confused and began to give up. I really wanted to work on a career change though, and I soon came across SheCodes. I have learned so much more in just 3 weeks than I could through self learning. Not only was it so easy to follow and learn, I was able to complete everything on top of a full time exhausting job and continue to have free time in my personal life. I am excited to progress onto SheCodes Plus and potentially more in the future.
I have to say SheCodes Responsive was my favourite course so far. I enjoyed the Basics and Plus but I absolutely loved all the handy hints and tricks and hacks that we learnt in Responsive, and of course, how to produce Responsive webpages which is so important these days with all the different devices in use. Quite a few times I'd stop and think 'How cool is that!!' The tutorials to work through completing our own webpage were so helpful and really broke it down step by step. I'm so excited to continue on to React and to hopefully one day embark on a career in developing. Thank you Matt for a brilliant course!

It's really important to have user friendly websites that looks great on different devices. SheCodes responsive is a great start for creating websites that looks good on mobile devices too.

I have been looking into trying coding for a while now but was very intimidated by other online courses and their large price tag. SheCodes was very affordable for just a taste of what coding is like and I'm super glad I tried it! Definitely trying the higher courses sometime soon!
I enjoyed learning with SheCodes. The teaching method is easy for a novice in coding to understand because there are challenges after every class, which makes learning easier and makes the students actively involved in the entire process. I would highly recommend this class to anyone.
I am very satisfied with the Basic Workshop! Coming from zero knowledge on coding, now I can simply develop a page and can understand better the amazing world of developing. Matt is an amazing instructor, making all the process very easy!

The Basics workshop is fantastic. I never thought I'd ever be able to get my head around even the 'simplest' code but it was explained in ways I could understand, plus it was fun!

I enjoyed this course tremendously! There are many free courses out there to learn the same material, but I felt it was worth it to pay to get my questions answered quickly and join a program with a well-thought out structure that holds you accountable. I think most people don't retain much from watching videos or doing short coding exercises - you learn from doing a complete project that means something to you, with a deadline! SheCodes delivers on this.

I'm a 23-year-old college 'dropout' who was lost about the career I wanted to pursue in my future. After discovering what computer programming really consisted of, and starting to learn it by myself, I found SheCodes and I am so thankful that I did. The community and resources available here are a blessing and Matt is a fantastic instructor, and I am excited for my future in the programming space.
Great start classes to coding. Easy to understand. The Javascript content is very limited, wish there was more content included.

SheCodes Plus was a great way to deepen my understanding of javascript and how it can be applied in real-life projects. I am feeling more confident with my coding skills and I am looking forward to start learning React.
I tried to learn to code about four years ago, but it wasn't that easy, and I wouldn't say I liked it. I Tried again, and with this course, I have learned a lot, and most importantly, I liked the way Matt teaches. I recommend it 100%

The SheCodes Basics course is a great way to familiarize yourself with the basics of coding. Largely self-paced, the videos are easy to understand and the homeworks and final project keep you on target. For anyone looking to foray into the world of coding, this is a fun start.
Despite the challenges, I succeeded! Having learned so many new things in the past three months makes me very proud of myself! Many thanks to SheCodes! You will always have a special place in my heart!
This beginner course was an amazing experience! I loved every second of it. I enjoyed learning new tips and tricks as well as finding out new solutions on my own. I had experience in learning python years ago and was taught how to teach the computer to play a guessing game with you, but it took a lot of time. When it comes to learning, I like it when the lessons are straight to the point and actually have you apply those new skills immediately. SheCodes definitely applies that attribute. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Overall, most classes were very easy to understand as Matt Delac made all these lessons easy to understand. Even though I faced challenges throughout the workshop, I always had my questions answered through Slack which have helped me a lot. I had lots of fun figuring out problems that I faced and can't wait to join the more advanced workshops.π€

My first experience with coding, and I found it challenging yet enjoyable at the same time. The information were split into bite size lessons, which made it easier to understand and apply.
This was great! I had no idea I would ever be interested in coding, but it pleasantly surprised and I would deff recommend! It is a little hard in the first week, because its a lot of new information but it gets easier and more and more fun :)

I really enjoyed the course, and Matt did a great job at breaking everything down and making it easy to understand, and I really enjoyed the challenges after each lesson as it helped me to put what I learnt into practice.

It is my third workshop with shecodes and I am getting more confident after every lessons. i wouldn't say it was easy, like everyone else I guess, I got very frustrated over a missing coma but overall it was a great journey. Responsiveness is really fun and it is a balancing exercises
It was a wonderful experience. I had no knowledge of programming and never imagined I could design a weather app. I have to say that Matt is a great teacher who explains the most complex things in the simplest way. Many thanks to Matt and all his colleagues at SheCodes.
So far, so good! I've already completed a HTML and CSS course on Udemy which was great but mostly follow alongs. I have also tried my hand at The Odin Project, which for me was a bit too intense. I feel like this is a great middle ground!
This workshop was really fun! I was pleased that SheCodesPlus included the best features of SheCodes Basics while also making a leap forward in terms of the sophistication of techniques and in professional development. I appreciate Matt Delac's teaching at a deeper level now, too. Although he isn't showy or dogmatic about it, Matt has a true professional's discernment for best practices and an almost aesthetic sense of judgment for the relative elegance of competing solutions, which I deeply value as a student. Plenty of self-appointed teachers can show off tricks of the trade or teach expedient, "thrown-together" solutions without transmitting a sense for why one approach to a problem is less adequate than another. In my opinion, that's a major point of value that sets SheCodes apart from its competitors and from the "teach yourself" sites. Matt doesn't want to just teach us to code; he wants to teach us to become *good* coders who are self-reliant, resilient, and resourceful problem-solvers.

The SheCodes Basics Workshop is an excellent introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Prior to this course, I felt like gaining a foundational coding knowledge was pretty far-fetched. Lucky for me (and all of us), Matt is an excellent instructor and provides resources to keep you moving through the course with confidence. This workshop has inspired me to continue exploring various aspects of programming. I'm excited to learn more!

I am a social worker for disabled people. I am following this course to expand my knowledge and let's see what it will bring me in the future. What I really like about the SheCodes course is how the program is designed. It are short videos where you learn new skills and afterward, there is a challenge which are really doable and if you have any questions you can ask the team or other students and you will have a really quick and helpfull respond.
Well broken down for you to fully digest the information. Definitely a worthwhile endeavor!
Learning indepth bootstrap makes writing html and css so much faster. My portfolio project looks great on my phone, tablet and computer.
