Workshop is useful, you can learn and having fun at the same time

I loved that I could work at my own pace. Even though the course was scheduled for 3 weeks, I could move ahead or take more time as my schedule allowed. I loved being able to help other students troubleshoot in Slack and knowing that I could turn to peers or instructors if I got stuck!

If you want to learn code, Matt teaches very well how to start speaking with the code yourself.

SheCodes Responsive is a GREAT workshop. I enjoyed it and learnt a lot.

It has been so fun creating a weather app from the ground up. Very cool to learn so many things you can create with code.

When I found SheCodes I was researching for one of my Javascript assignments, and I just love how everything was explained so clearly. I had so much fun practicing coding with SheCodes. The lessons are quite short (still I learned so much!) and therefore very well manageable at home with two young kids. I was not sure if coding was the way to go for me, (I definitely need to make a wise career choice at this point in my life.) but the Basic Course was a great and affordable way to get to try it for a good while. I AM HOOKED! And so proud of my first little page, that I made!

This was a great starter course for learning coding! The lessons were easy to follow but incredibly thorough and the support was spectacular. I learned so much!

The first time I heard about SheCodes Workshop was from a friend of mine. She completed the course and shared how much she enjoyed it. After some time, I started thinking that it would be good to broaden my horizons and learn something entirely new from my field of expertise. I was skeptical of my coding abilities at first, but all for nothing. Matt is a great teacher! The way he explained the material was concise, digestible, and, most importantly - doable. I'm hoping to continue my coding journey in the future and learn more! Thank you, Matt and SheCodes team, for such a warm introduction to the coding world!

This course seemed hard but once you understand the basics its easy.

The more and more I learn about coding the more intrigued I feel. I've always loved a good challenge and coding has definitely tested my patience but the feeling when something works is the greatest! This portfolio project has really put all my knowledge to the test and I've learned so much about myself. I now have the confidence to build other portfolios and responsive websites. I intend to keep practicing those skills by offering a helping hand to friends who may benefit from a website portfolio or responsive website. I've come so far since I first started in January and it's only the start! Next stop... React! I can't wait to continue learning on my coding journey!

I'm really happy I decided to sign up for the SheCodes Basic course! It was really fun to learn something new that I didn't mind working on after work. It's definitely something I will be adding to my resume and hopefully get to use in the future! It won't be long before I sign up for the other SheCodes courses that are offered now that I've gotten a taste for it.

This intro class was worth every penny! I learned so much useful information and feel empowered to continue creating my own web pages and am considering continuing my coding education. I now have an understanding of the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Help is always readily available whenever you need it.

SheCodes has really given me the structure I needed to solidify my skills in coding. It was such a treat to relearn all of the things I learned myself, but from someone who knows exactly what each things is about.

This was a great course! I learned so much throughout these three weeks and Matt makes all the concepts very easy to understand. I cannot wait to move forward with the rest of the workshops.

Having a structured introduction program to coding was a great way to grow my interest and motivate. On top of that, the video lessons were easy to follow and commented on more than just the "how" but also on conventions and standards.

I love it! Thought it would be harder, but the way of explaining and the lesson activities helps a lot. By the final project, it just that everything makes sense.

I had tried doing other online courses myself through Coursera.org for coding but this is the first one that I've actually stuck with because Matt doesn't bog you down in all of the technicalities of how and why things work. He just gets you coding the basic stuff without going into too much detail that just confuses you. I also haven't had to use Slack yet to ask a question (another testament to how well the videos teach you), but I really appreciate that that is an option because other online courses don't offer any quick support.

I wanted to learn a new skill that would help me in the future whether in my current career or a future one. I started with the Basic Workshop and it was very informative for being a beginner in coding. I can't wait to learn more.

SheCodes made the content easy to understand and very engaging for a total beginner. I have tried different courses and watched various coding videos, but it never captivated my interest long enough for me to continue. I plan to continue the next SheCodes workshop.

I had a great time learning how to code through SheCodes. Matt is a wonderful teacher who clearly knows the best ways to teach amateurs like me! The staff at SheCodes is also wonderful and speedy in answering questions as they arise.

I needed to learn basic coding skills for my job, so when I found SheCodes I did some research and decided to sign up. I never really thought about coding or trying anything computer related. However, I came across this course and was intrigued. After completing this course I fell like there is so much more I can learn about coding and computers in general. This was a great introductory class which was very well structured and made it easy to learn.

I entered the Pro course to be able to learn JS, since I already know a lot of HTML and CSS and in this first module I was already able to learn a bit of JS and do some fun things with it and it also helped me in my professional job.

I have completed the SheCodes Basics course over the span of 3 weeks, where I have improved both my knowledge and skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I can confidently say that I have the ability to code and design basic designs along with knowledge gained from my alternative digital design studies.

Learning React has been a great experience, very interesting, not without challenges, but definitely worth it. The final project was a great and fun way to practice all the tools learned. Now it's over, I wish the course had been a bit longer!

I highly recommend SheCodes for any individual who wishes to take charge of their own work and creativity. Learning coding has helped me better understand developers, and the challenges they might be facing. Apart from that, I have had a great time creating my own project which has been extremely fulfilling in a number of ways!

The SheCodes Responsive Workshop was the third SheCodes Workshop I finished and it actually was my favourite one. I'm looking forward to completing the next workshop here soon.

Loved it. The course was so simple to understand and implement. I love the mini projects the most. It really showed me how much I had learned looking back at them and my final project.

SheCodes Plus dives right into more complex things. For a beginner like me, it's a challenging course, and I feel so rewarded for getting through it!

As a busy mother of 2 children under the age of 5. I've been looking for a career where I could work remotely. I have a diploma in Human Resources but I've been looking to switch it up and get into TECH. After much research, I decided to start with coding. I looked into some coding bootcamps, many were suggested by other women on Twitter, unfortunately, none of them seemed to captivate my interest. I tried to do it myself with youtube and gave up. On a random day scrolling through Youtube, I saw an ad for SheCodes and signed up for the free coding class! I thought why not it's free. After the free coding workshop I was confident that I could do it! Another thing that captivated my attention, was how colorful and modern the website was. As for the workshops, it took time management, patience, and encouragement! Knowledge is power!🏆

This was a great way to be introduced to Front-end coding. Easy to follow, with exercises that allow you to sink in the learnings.

Great course - some weeks were more challenging that others. But I felt like we covered at lot in this course and feel like I have learned lots of new skills

Deciding to do another SheCodes workshop was a no brainer. After having completed SheCodes Plus I created my own website but then fell off the coding wagon. Once I started the responsive workshop I was hooked again and now plan to pursue coding as a carerr. Thank you SheCodes and Matt for helping me on this journey!

SheCodes Plus is perfectly balanced to challenge your vanilla JavaScript knowledge and take you to the next level :) I truly enjoyed working on the final project, from wireframe to creating my unique UI, integrating API and other fun techniques

When I bought the course I was scared. Scared that I will find out that I don't get it. That's too difficult for me. That I will just waste money. I was wrong! turned out that I don't suck and I actually enjoy coding. At least at this stage, and that I want to learn more. I really liked classes with quick videos explaining and showing most important things. Although, almost at the end I realized that there are some extra info below the videos🤦‍♀️. What works for me are challenges and weekly homework as well as the final project. I think it helps to learn better through the whole course step by step without being left with everything for the final project. I would definitely recommend the basic course to anyone. It's a great opportunity to test the water without investing big money into something we are not sure we want.

As with all the workshops provided by SheCodes this one was great. Great support and instruction.

SheCodes Plus is an excellent workshop, challenging at times but super interesting and rewarding. I am thrilled with my progress and look forward to further developing my coding skills.

I am excited to have SheCodes Pro under my belt before I go on a long travel. I am looking for further bootcamps and internships after I finish.

I can easily imagine that everything I just learnt could be taught in a super complicated way. But SheCodes team managed to make the lessons fun and easily understandable! Hopefully this course was one of many steps to my career change.
