Learning how to code with SheCodes has been an amazing experience for me. I hope to keep improving my knowledge by joining the advanced class and practicing on my own.
I found SheCodes Basics workshop to be very easy to follow along with and simple to learn. Coming from a background with no knowledge of coding, I was a bit scared that I wouldn't understand the material. Turns out I found a true passion for creating CSS HTML and Javascript during the 3 week Basics workshop! I wasn't expecting to gain so much knowledge in so little time. I took a chance after attending one of the free one hour workshops and I feel confident that I've found a new career path! Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for all the support, as well as the students on Slack! This workshop was a great pace for someone with a busy life

I really liked the course. I had never been trained before and had almost no experience in communicating in English. I was determined that I would have to watch the video several times before I understood everything. But I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out that everything was clear and accessible the first time. What seemed complicated turned out to be simple and fun with SheCodes. And it gives a lot of self-confidence.
It is true -- these lessons are broken down into easily digestible bite-sized pieces. There is a lot of information available if you are willing to absorb it all and not miss any bits. I had so much fun in my basics course, and I love that we can use our own creativity throughout the entire process.
I can not say enough great things about SheCodes! I never could have imagined learning how to create websites. SheCodes makes it relatively easy, even for someone like me with no experience at all. The lessons are fun, interactive, and designed to ensure you get hands on experience coding. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone that is looking to transition into something new or just as a refresher.

Wow.. such a rollercoaster! I started this workshop last year, but couldn't finish since I was battling my own demons.. Now, healthier and stronger, I came back. Making my own portfolio was very challenging.. Had to use all the techniques I have learned already from previous workshops but no worries! With some breaks and swings of frustration, I finally finished! I'm actually very very proud of myself and satisfied of what I created. Thank you SheCodes Team for making it possible for me 🦋

I have been interested in tech and coding for quite some time. However, I always thought you had to be a math whiz to be successful. Matthieu was very quick to debunk that myth in his free coding session. Suddenly, I didn't have any reason not to give it a try. I have enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS so much! I'm really glad I made the decision to give it a try. I'll be continuing on with the SheCodes courses and will be a React Developer soon enough.
For me, the course was informative and interesting. And most importantly, I got rid of the fear of trying to learn something new, which previously seemed very difficult to me. A big plus is that there are challenges that make you think and make decisions on your own.
I enjoyed this course. I'm new to coding, but thanks to Matt's simple and clear explanations, I've got it right. Looking forward to starting the next course!

Very quick and good course
The workshop was challenging but extremely worth while once it clicks and you're able to write your code with little assistance. The break down of the lessons by Matt, followed by the assignments to practice and cement what you learn is great. Alongside the supportive community of SheCodes staff on slack who help you figure out all your problems. Really enjoyed it and proud of the progressed I've made from being an absolute beginner!

I’ve always tinkered around with coding through blogging and watching courses on YouTube. However, I had some free time in the summer and decided to sit down and do an actual course. I loved that this course was indeed intended for beginners. Doing the challenges not only helped me to understand the concept of what I was doing and more importantly, why I was doing it. My favorite part was learning about CSS and styling.

This was an excellent experience, when they said SheCodes basics they were serious. This was challenging at times but more than all funny and I have the opportunity to practice with all the challenges and homework.

I am grateful for the opportunity to take a training course at SheCodes. The learning process divided into weekly blocks is very convenient. The lectures are thought out, detailed, and not overloaded with complex information. There are homework assignments. At the end of the course, there is a small project. All this is really done for a beginner. I would like to continue!
I love love love studying on SheCodes. I run my own freelancing business and work crazy hours, mostly 7 days a week and 12 hours a day or even more. If it were not for the flexibility and the possibility to request extensions, I would have never been able to finish My Weather App. I gave myself an extra challenge to work with an Unsplash Api, so my ideal design is not finished yet. Regardless I cannot believe I actually got the app to work, especially the Javascript part. Thank you SheCodes you are so awesome, I can't wait to get started on the next two courses.

Enjoyed this Plus course a lot! I was excited to build my own weather application and am definitely proud of the result. You learn a lot of advanced stuff during this course and it can be pretty overwhelming at times, but it definitely helps when Matt reasures you to just take your time and most importantly to have fun. The course has been fun and informative. I've known that I love coding since taking Web Design classes in high school, and through using MySpace so long ago. I'm glad I finally took the first steps in creating a career for myself. As a working mom, the hours were completely doable, and I don't regret signing up for this course. I never thought I would love to learn how to code so much! I went to college for healthcare and slowly realized I'm burnt out and immediately knew I had to change something or do something that can be so fun and rewarding. I was looking online trying to see what kind of remote work I could do and as I was searching on YouTube I came upon an ad about SheCodes and what really drew me in was that it was all women! I did the info session with Matt and I fell so in love with the idea that this is actually a thing! Don't get me wrong, I knew it was a thing but to know theres a community of women on the same boat as me wanting to try something knew really excited me! I was nervous and at times, I did get frustrated a few times because I just felt like I wasn't getting it quick enough like everyone else. But Matt's videos are so well explained and the resources and information he gives are so reassuring and easy to follow that I'm so excited to learn more!
