Matt does it again with another great course! I was really excited to learn React and despite it being a more challenging framework to work with, Matt did really well to break everything down into simple sections!!

I really enjoyed doing the SheCodes Basics Workshop. The videos are easy to follow, as is Matt's style of teaching and the additional resources that you have access to during the workshop are very helpful. The SheCodes Slack Channels are also a great resource if you need assistance or if you would like to assist others. I'm definitely looking forward to continuing my learning with SheCodes.

I am so glad I gave SheCodes a try! π I took two years of programming courses in university, but I felt that it wasn't for me. I struggled with the classes, especially in projects where we had to use maths. Being super bad at math, I couldn't finish the projects on my own, and I remember giving up on a final project because I was so frustrated with myself. I was also skeptical with this online workshop at first, thinking that it would be difficult to learn something online or that I would get discouraged by the exercises. However, the videos where easy to understand and follow, and I felt really great whenever I successfully finished a Challenge or a weekly homework. π Im now considering of taking SheCodes Plus, and I hope that I can continue to improve my coding skills and eventually get a job as a front-end developer in the future. β¨

Structured so well for someone with zero coding experience enjoyed coding and was motivated to upgrade workshop.
I've already tried lots of coding courses, but SheCodes would probably be my favourite one. Thanks to your interesting studying programme and ability to practice new skills once I've watched a tutorial I've gained much confidence for improving! At times this course was challenging but I was always able to overcome any issues and now can proudly present my final project. Matt's videos made coding just as fun as during the basics course and I gained better knowledge of JS thanks to him. I'm so happy I found these workshops!

Not gonna lie, there's been a lot of words I never say around my mother in law and there's been a lot of moments I wanted to throw my computer in the pool - but I did it. Really good submission of material. You make it easy to understand. And this course was much better than some other ones I tried to learn before, even they were on my native language.
I've always been interested in tech as a career I just didn't think I was smart enough. So I went To college as most do and soon realized and wasn't for me dropped out a semester later and was strolling on Instagram when I seen a SheCodes ad I signed up for the free coding course and I've never looked back. So if you're thinking about pivoting career choices do it!! I love coding now and can't wait to start a career in it!

I cannot believe how much I have learned already with SheCodes, we progress at such a rapid but manageable pace it certainly keeps you engaged and motivated. The practicality of the course is a real differentiator too - I have been studying with other programs (unstructured) for months but have never done such practical work.

I felt so proud when I was able to create something "big" using the skills I learned. I loved hearing the thought process of someone making the final project along with me, it was reassuring. In previous workshops, it was more about how to use the different tools and specific steps to take. This one was how to put it all together to make something original.

This workshop was quite a bit challenging for me as a coder who just started the journey a little more than month ago, but it was super fun and easy to follow. The course is so well structured - it's quite easy to follow up with lectures and challenges. Big thanks to Matt - he's a great teacher, he simplifies the complex things to understandable level (especially for me who was a complete newbie in the world of coding and tech sphere in general). And many thanks to the tech team of SheCodes - they were super helpful and supportive when I've got stuck or had troubles on making things work. I've learned so much through this workshop and feel so much more confident in my coding skills now. And the final project - the web weather app - it's great to add a real-time functioning project to my coding portfolio! This coding training was really what I needed to enhance my java script skills . There was a lot of challenges that I encountered through the development of my final project but with the help of the amazing team at SheCodes I was able to tackle them and now I am able to present my final project. SheCodes has been a great experience for a first-timer like me, that has no prior experience in coding. I really appreciated that it's a program geared towards helping women step into the tech industry, as well as provide educational opportunities to women in need abroad. The curriculum was easy to understand, the community via Slack was very helpful in the sticky moments, and the flexible learning schedule helped me to learn while continuing to work my day to day.
I love the step-by-step videos. Matt does a great job guiding you through the coding processes in a fun and easy to understand format! I highly recommend SheCodes!
